Workitem - Link attached is not working

Hi,
I have a decision task containing a link to display scheduling agreement(via binding of &_ADHOC_OBJECT&).
For certain users, the link is not working. There's no response upon clicking the link.
What makes me wonder is that I have another workflow with a similar decision task which is having a link to display PO.
And it works for all users.
It's highly possible that this problem is caused by user authorization but I would like to know other plausibilities
If you have encountered this problem before, please share your solution/thoughts.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
It should be the authorization problem.
Please add the SWO_ASYNC authorization object to the user.
If its not resolved, click that attachment link and then check the transaction SU53 for any authorization fails.
Thanks,
Viji.

  • Some attachment buttons not working from external networks

    Hi guys,
We have an eSourcing system that we access internally from server.internal.com . We also make this eSourcing system available to external vendors through www.external.com .
The external access is done using a Citrix AGEE system (reverse proxy, etc.). As part of this, the AGEE has the ability to change the hostname in the URL so the real server is hidden from external vendors. For example, when eSourcing generates a webpage, the AGEE searches through and replaces all http://server.internal.com references to http://www.external.com , and vice-versa for incoming calls.
This works for about 95% of the content, but there are a fer places where the links are not re-written correctly. One example is the File Attachment buttons when replying to a question. However, other file attachment buttons work correctly.
    1. Does anyone else have a similar situation, using a Citrix or other product for external vendors?
    2. Does anyone have a similar problem where certain links/buttons are not working from external networks?
    3. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?
    4. Are there any settings that are specific to external access that may need to be set?
    Thanks guys for any help/insight.
    Michael.

SAP has re-written some of their code to help rectify the problem. We have also been working with Citrix to provide additional fixes. If anyone else has these problems, apply the latest patch of eSourcing and contact Citrix support to get the AGEE changes needed to make it work.

  • After installing firefox 27 "save link as" is not working

after installing firefox 27 "save link as" is not working started a few days ago use to work fine before v27 was installed. please help.

Hello hansram, '''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings and disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
''(If you're using an added theme, switch to the Default theme.)''
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu by clicking on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item:<br>
    [[Image:FirefoxSafeMode|width=520]]<br><br>
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
    * On Windows: Hold the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * On Mac: Hold the '''option''' key while starting Firefox.
    * On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run ''firefox -safe-mode'' <br>(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]] article to find the cause.
''To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
    Thank you.

  • D-Link dub e100 not work in mac 10.10

hi , i just upgraded my macbook pro to mac 10.10 and after upgrade my USB-to-ethernet device (D-link dub e100) not work and in setting says me self assigned ip
    please help.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
I have found that clicking on the photo works on export, but not all of the time.
I tried redefining a keyboard shortcut.  That does not work since the "Menu: View/Zoom In" function does not work either.
Strange that it is only a problem with multiple photos open and they appear in tabs.  I have tried deselecting "Open new documents as tabs" under preferences.  That 'fixes' the problem since the zoom in / out does not work only with multiple tabs open, but it works with multiple windows open.   I suspect that this 'fix' will work on the export problem too, since I will be exporting the active window.
So essentially, the 'open new documents as tabs' is so buggy that it should not be used.
Hopefully Adobe will not try to charge me for an upgrade to CS5 in order to fix this problem.

  • Link functions are not working correctly

I am have a number of links on my page and I am using the a;link, a:hover and a:visited commands but I am getting strange results. First of all my css is on a separate style sheet. What I am trying to do is have all my links in gray text both when before and after being visited and I want the text to change to red and underline when I hover over the link. My results are that in live view the links all seem to work ok except for my HOME link at the bottom of the page where it does not change color and does not underline. When I view in browser the results are worse. None of the links change when I hover over them excepts for the DOWNLOAD link. Also note that I have 4 columns of unordered lists about the footer which also does not work either. Here is the source and css code. Thanks for your help.

When you use the link pseudclass in your css it has to be expressed in the correct order.

It doesn't matter that you have not expressed all four but the three that you have still need to be that way.
Anyway, try it, we have nothing to lose!

  • Attach JavaScript not working in Acrobat Reader XI

    Hello,
I created a fillable PDF in which I used the following JavaScript for an "Attach" button:
    this.importDataObject("MyFile");
This JavaScript worked and allowed the end user to attach files to the PDF in previous versions of Acrobat (through version 10 / Pro), but the button's functionality does not work in Adobe Acrobat XI.  The button has no functionality when clicked, and no errors are received indicating what the issue may be.
Is there a bug that exists making this file not compatible with the Acrobat XI version, or is my coding outdated/inaccurate?
Please advise and thank you for your help!
    Jessi Fenton

Did you ever figure this out? I am also having problems with the "No Hand" javascript which turns off the (not very helpful) page-forward hand icon (a hand symbol with a down arrow) which confuses our users when in fullscreen mode. We create interactive PDFs and everything worked fine up to Acrobat X/Reader X. Now in XI it doesn't allow the internal link icon (pointing finger) nor weblink icon (pointing finger with W) to appear. It just remains a plain o’ hand icon no matter what you mouse over even though there are links present.

  • Add Attachment feature not working with Reader X

    Hello All,
The script behind the "Add Attachment" button in the linked sample seems to conflict when this form is open with Reader X.  All other buttons seem to work fine. Moreover, it works seamlessly when opened in older versions of Reader and Acrobat Pro.  I have looked all over the internet to no avail.  Can anyone provide a solution?

Couldn't figure out a way to share the workspace.  I thought that by uploading the file into a shared workspace would make it a public document with a valid link.  Guess not!
Anyhow, I've uploaded the sample to Box.  Here's a new link: https://www.box.com/s/p0mxx3l79iwjtmak1wv5
    Many thanks again.

  • Document Approval - Link in Email not working

    Hi
I am using the approval function for KM documents.
When a content item is changed, and submitted for approval, the approver gets an email.
In that email there is two links, one to the content item itself and one to the details of the content item.
The one to the details of the document does not work!
The host name seems to be missing in the url.
The one to the content item itself works fine.
I do have set up the hostname in:
    System Administration->System Configuration->KM->CM->Global Services->Url Generator Service.
that points to the content item.

A colleague of mine recommends looking here:
Ya, it is unsder systemadmin > sys config > KM > config > CM > Global Services > URL Generator Service.
There is a value for "host" and there which should be "http://(orhttps://)portalserver:servport

  • Ringtone link in media not working

When I go into Media then into ringtones and open up my menu I have an option for Download Ring Tone. When I click on the link I get this error.
HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error
An unexpected condition was encountered which prevented your request from being fulfilled. This could be cause by a problem with teh gateway, a problem with destination server or a problem with the page itself. Please try loading a different page. Contact your service provider if this problem persists
I then have the option to select ok or go to details. If I go to details it brings me to a page saying

    Error Details
    - HTTP Error Code:500
    -Error
Message:java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0 This error has been logged with the server, please try again later.
I have tested that link with 2 8330 and 1 8130. I have been able to get the page to display twice but with no actual reason for it to work. One time I hit refresh and it loaded correctly and another time I hit back accedentally and it loaded to the ringtone page(on the 8130). I bookmarked the page when it did showed properly when I hit the back button. The bookmark will load perfectly everytime. But going through that above link does not work and I have tried it no less then 30 times.
I sent the bookmark to another BB via pin and it was not able to load the page. When I go to copy the page source both from the error and the bookmark that loads this is the link I get.

All 3 phones are on Telus Mobility running 4.3. The curves both have default browser settings on them and can connect to other sites no problem, the pearl had default settings when I got it to work and book marked it and since then I have changed some of the internet settings. I enabled java and switched emulation to blackberry instead of openwave(wap). That did not make any difference to the link in media but bookmark loads fine still. Internet browser is the default for all devices.
Hope this is enough info. I want to know if any other Telus clients have the issue or if any other carriers are having the same problem as well.
Thanks for any help and suggestions

  • Href links in slideshow not working

    hi,
I have created a non-flash slideshow with WOW Slider which I find to be a very good program and is jquery based.
the actual slideshow runs fine on iPad, my PC - and Android devices,
    but:
the six slides have links embedded to other websites, that I have set up to run in a new window, and work fine on PC & Andoid
but on the iPad the outbound links do not work - yet an href link will work on the iPad if called from a static image.
I'm at my wits end with this, and any help would be really appreciated.
    thanks,

jquery ones like Wowslider, Virtual lightbox, Juicebox, Nivo slider, and css based one's like CSS slider et al.
and believe me when I say that I have found none of them to be totally reliable across all the varied devices.
whilst what I have resorted to is quite basic, it gets the job done - particularly given my age and what I am hoping to achieve with my site.
as a kind of thank you to Michael and yourself, there are links below to two small pages I did ages ago that may give you a bit of a chuckle.

  • Why do the regular links in template not work on announcement pages?

I am trying to figure out why the regular links (buttons) on top in my template does not work on the announcement pages on my business catalyst website. The links work perfectly fine on the other pages, but when you click on one of the latest news links  to the right to read it, it leads you to a page with a url-prefix called announcements, and when you try to get back to one of the other pages by clicking on the buttons at the top for example the register button, it takes you to: http://www.littlefolkies.com/announcements/register instead of http://www.littlefolkies.com/register, and so it gives you a error message: page not found...???
Is there anyone who can help me out? I don't understand why this is happening.
You can try it yourself at www.littlefolkies.com...
    I greatly appreciate any guidance!
    Thanks so much,
    I

Take a look at your classes link.
You can see how you have the / in front and the others do not. This is why.
This tells BC to read from the site root. Without it when your inside sub folders (other levels in your url) then it will link to only within that level without the / at the front.
It is the same reason why you do all your templates and css etc with the / in front which I mentioned to you before if I recall.
You can also change the name /announcements in the url in the settings for it if you want to.

  • TCS2 - Cross References between linked Frame files not working

    Hi,
All the cross-references in my linked in FrameMaker 9 files work when output in PDF, however, when outputting WebHelp from RoboHelp 8, FrameMaker cross references that reference another FrameMaker file (i.e. not Current) do not work. The format is correct, they appear blue and underlined like every other link/cross-reference, but when moused over in the browser, there's no link to click.  The HTML created by RoboHelp does not point to a file.  For example, here's the HTML for one link not working as shown from within RoboHelp:
    <p class="FM_Bulleted"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7.0pt;">&#160;&#160;&#160;</span>•<span
         style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7.0pt;">&#160;&#160;&#160;</span><a><span
         class="FM_Link">Create Supported App from
    Install</span></a><span class="FM_Bold">.</span>
RoboHelp appears to partially convert the link as <span class="FM_Link"> appears in the HTML  but I think there should be more information in the <a> definition, such as in the HTML created for a link that references a topic created from the same FrameMaker file.
    <p class="FM_Bulleted"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7.0pt;">&#160;&#160;&#160;</span>•<span

I've ensured all the cross-references in each framemaker file in the book have the same format and are mapped to <$paratext> in the project settings. I've also tried importing the FrameMaker book instead of linking it and the same problem persists.
Any ideas on how to make RoboHelp create the link correctly?   Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,

Most of the major cross reference issues have been resolved in TCS 2 with further improvements in TCS 3.
Please ensure that you have all the patches of TCS 2 installed on your system.
If the issue is still there, there could be an altogether different reason for cross reference not working or the issue might have been fixed in TCS 3.
The reason or workaround can be analysed once the sample files with the issues are provided.
It will be great if you could share a small sample FM document containing the cross reference and target having the issue. If the cross reference is across documents, then a FrameMaker book along with its FM files can be shared in a zip format.

  • The links toolbar is not working. I can drag addresses to it, but when I click on them, the sites don't open. How can I fix this?

There is a toolbar feature in the lower right corner of the taskbar. I tried to set up the Links toolbar. I can drag addresses to this, but when I click them, nothing happens. What should happen is the site/page whose address I clicked should open.
How can I fix this? Is it a problem with the Firefox I'm currently using?

I checked out the links you provided. One is dead, one is for Windows 7, which doesn't apply to my problem because I'm using Windows 8, and I've been checking out the third.
I'm a novice and may not have the right vocabulary to explain myself. The Links toolbar is accessed from the bottom right side of the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Apparently Firefox is necessary to use this, as everyone I've talked to swears it's not visible for IE.
What I'm referring to is Right-click "show hidden icons." Scroll up to Toolbars. Scroll over to Links. Check it to enable it. Then what should happen is I should be able to drag the address/url from the top of the page to this menu and click on it when I want to go back to that particular page. That is what is not working. Nothing happens when I click the addresses in the Links menu.

  • File too large - attachment settings not working

    Hi there
We are having problems with attaching files in IMS 5.2 & wondered if anybody can help.
Our outgoing mail message max size is set to 50MB (I know about the extra 33% space required for encoding) and yet we still cannot attach files to emails that are greater than 5MB.
Does anyone have any idea why this is not working?
Anytime we try to send a 7 or 8 MB file an error "File too large "comes up right away
The settings in the messaging server console is set to 50MB. This is under the HTTP service
There was a previous post but the solution did not solve my problem.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks

There are separate settings for webmail attaqchments. Please check documentation at:
    http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6020-10/cfgutil.htm
    and look at:
    service.http.maxmessagesize
    and
    service.http.maxpostsize
these both default to 5 megs.
You have to restart the webmail daemon to make a change take effect.
