Workitem lock error did not correct automatically

Hi Everyone,
We have observerd that we have a number of workitems which go into error after following 3 messages
1. Warning: Temporary error in result processing of work item
2. Warning: Error when loading component: Work item locked
3. Error      :A system error has occurred in lock management
But all the workitems under such error are automatically resumed after a duration of 20-30 minutes.
However recently we are having some wotkitems under this error message which have not restarted automatically
Could you please advise what is the background process that automatically re-starts such erroneous workitems and why some of the workitems are not getting re-started
The only option for these workitems is to complete them manually.

    Hey everyone-
    Im in the same boat, started a thread . My hands free system worked fine with iOS 8 out of the box new iphone 6. Did the update this morning and i can stream music perfectly fine however i cannot make or receive calls through hands free system.
    I have not tried resetting the settings like most people indicate is working. I feel like I shouldn't have to reset anything, even less mess with settings with an update coming from apple. it should "Just Work"
    Some people who reset said it works for a few hours, other say it don't work, and I don't know what I should do.

    NOTE: I was able to replicate the issue in my wifes Hyunday Elentra 2013.
    This is how I know its not a defect with the BT in my car.

    Resetting the Logic Board
    Resetting the logic board can resolve many system problems. Whenever you have a
    unit that fails to power up, you should follow this procedure
    before replacing any modules.
    1 Unplug the computer.
    2 Press the Power On button on the front of the unit.
    3 Open the side access panel.
    4 Remove the battery from the logic board.
    5 Wait at least 10 minutes before replacing the battery.
    6 Make sure the battery is installed in the correct +/-
    direction.
    7 Reassemble the computer and test the unit.

    This problem connected with proxy-setings.
    As the first steps you should try:
           1.  export system env variable:

    no_proxy=127.0.0.1,localhost
    and you can also export
        export OS_TENANT_NAME=admin
        export OS_USERNAME=admin

    2. and than restart mysqld, if it is running, stop iptables and repeat installation process from beginning with the currently generated answer file
    if we are exporting variable OS_PASSWORD, its value should be the same as value for CONFIG_KEYSTONE_ADMIN_PW in the currently generated answer file.
    This OS_PASSWORD will be written by packstack in the /root/keystonerc_admin file and will be used as admin's password for login to  Openstack dashboard.

  • 9630 Keyboard/Buttons not working; hard resets and multiple reloads of OS did not correct

    My BlackBerry 9630 Tour is a little more than a year old. Yesterday the keyboard, trackball, and all buttons stopped working while I was typing out an email. I could not power off the Blackberry without removing the battery for a hard reset. Unfortunately, even after many hard resets, the problem persisted, so I went to the forums for help and tried everything that seemed relevant (multiple times) with no success.
    After reviewing a number of tech support posts, this problem does not appear to be unique to any given model of BB and contact with liquids is cited as a common but not the only cause for this condition.
    I was outside on a very hot and humid day when the malfunction occurred so it is possible some perspiration may have come into contact with the keypad, convenience buttons, or trackball and caused the lockup.
    I'm looking for someone with more smarts than me to help me troubleshoot, identify the actual problem, and identify the proper corrective actions. See below for a synopsis of my actions taken, with the exception of taking it to the shop for repair/replacement.
    The corrective actions listed on the forums and blogs are varied but essentially fall into two primary solutions:
    1. If moisture is suspected to be the issue, let the BB dry out overnight
        a. Pull the battery, naturally air dry or use a blow dryer, let it sit unplugged with no battery for at least 12 hours 
        b. If this doesn't immediately work, try a clean install of the OS (see below)
        c. If this doesn't work, take to the shop and they'll either replace the keyboard and/or trackball or replace entire unit
    2. If moisture is not suspected to be a factor then perform a backup followed by a clean install of OS
         a. Backup your files using Desktop Manager Backup and Restore
         b. Do a clean reinstall OS using Desktop Manager Application Loader
             i. The OS installation process is dicey  and takes a little patience and focus-- you have to wait for the Desktop Manager to properly recognize the device before it can proceed on some of the steps and it may take several iterations to get completely through the process and get the "successful installation" message.
             ii. Further, you may need to keep the battery removed during the initial steps in the process and only insert it when the process gets to the point of actually trying to copy files into the BB memory
                * The BB LCD will display an icon that looks like a battery with a slash through it letting you know the process cannot proceed until a battery is inserted and the Desktop Manager Application Loader will also give you an error indicating it cannot find the device.
                * After inserting the battery, it will take a few seconds or more for the computer to recognize the USB device and for Desktop Manager to respond with the BB password pop-up window.
                * After typing in your BB password, the installation should continue.
        c. If you can get the OS successfully reloaded and your keyboard/trackball/buttons work -- great -- now restore your files and settings using Desktop Manager Backup and Restore and get on with your life.
        d. If this does NOT work after multiple successful clean OS installations apparently you are completely hosed; the only other option is to get it to the shop for repair or replacement.
    1.. Does anyone have a troubleshooting procedures that will identify whether moisture is the root cause or not?
    2. Is there another corrective procedure that's been missed?

    Took  BB to Sprint Store and technician took it apart, saw no evidence of moisture or any other damage, and concluded that the keyboard had failed. Not an uncommon occurance.
    Also, he told me you cannot simply replace the keyboard, it is integral to the systemboard, so you need to replace the entire device.
    He did commend the troubleshooting approach used prior to going to the store -- most folks won't take the time to do even basic troubleshooting (like taking out the battery), they just go to the store and say "fix it please". He confirmed that the steps outlined in the initial post were correct and did not have any other solutions.
    Take away:
    If you want to do some troubleshooting yourself to check for moisture, the process was pretty straightforward. After watching the technician, most folks with a little technical or mechanical aptitude should be able to manage the dismantling process. You just need a small phillips head screwdriver and a little patience. Good lighting and a magnifying glass or reading glasses also help!

    i have a problem , A table is updated by a program which is used by multiple user . I have used lock function module 'ENQUEUE_E_TABLE ' and 'DEQUEUE_E_TABLE' for that . when updation section occurs first user which come first go through it and for rest users amessage cones 'table is locked by XYZ user' . When first completes the updation resr users is not updating automatically they stand at that position where message comes. How to solve this issue?

    Hi,
    We can lock the table before updating the entries. Two types of locks are there.
    1. To lock the entire table. Here when the table is locked by one program, another program will not be able to modify it.
    2. To lock the particular record only. Here when the record is locked by one program, the other program can modify records other than the one locked.
    For option 1
    Use the FM ENQUEUE_E_TABLEE to lock the table and FM DEQUEUE_E_TABLEE to unlock table.
    For option 2
    Go to SE11. There enter the name of your lock object and create it. Next screen you have to mention which field you want to lock.

    If you want to lock the entire table, then use the FM said in option 1 in DO-ENDDO loop. 
    Run the loop till it gets successful (sy-subrc = 0)
    DO.
    *Call the FM.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
        EXIT.
    ENDIF.
    ENDDO.
    If you want to just try some number of times rather than keep on looping then can use for eg: DO 100 TIMES.

    Just tried to download and install latest ITunes update and it would not finish update. I aborted the update and then my ITunes will not open. I keep getting and error stating that file MSVCR80.dll not found. I reinstalled my original ITune file but this did not clear this error. Any ideas.

    Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

    Occasionally when someone is uploading a file to our web server, we are getting this response. It doesn't happen all the time. It is receiving uploads all the time. Has anybody seen this or know what may be causing this problem?

    cgi_scan_headers reports: HTTP4044: the CGI program /usr/web/web/cgi-bin/data_upload.exe did not produce a valid header (read failed, error is IO timeout error)

    The first thing a CGI program needs to do after reading any request body is to send a set of headers back to the web server. The data_upload.exe CGI program is failing to do this in a timely manner. data_upload.exe may have hung. For example, it may be trying to read more POST request body than was included in the POST request.
    By default, Web Server waits up to 5 minutes for the CGI program to output headers. If you have special circumstances that require the Web Server wait more than 5 minutes, you can control how long Web Server will wait using the init-cgi SAF. The NSAPI Programmer's Guide has details.

  • I cannot access firefox because it says it is already running. It is asking me to close the program that is running I cannot find where it is. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version. It did not correct the problem

    when I click the firefox link a window pops up saying a the program is already running and I must close that program in order to run a current one. I went through task manager and then completly uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the newest version. This did not help.

    I want to be able to change the default behaviour in Redwood so that if a job Errors (cancelled in SAP) it will still resbumit automatically based on the submit frame the job was defined with.  I have changed the registry parameter SubmitFrameStatus for each instance to

    SubmitFrameStatus
    Should I set the "Overrides private key" radio button on the Overriding tab in case this behaviour I'm setting is being overriden at the script level or similar?
    I have checked the init.jcs parameter file for the Process Server in D:\Program Files\Redwood\Server\703\admin to make sure the deprecated submit_frame_status parameter wasn't specified and it isn't.

    Hi Guy,
    I think you have misunderstood how to set this up.  The SubmitFrameStatus registry key applies to CPS Schedulers not to SAP instances.  Using the Registry you can put in place setting that will apply to all Process Servers or alternatively you could edit the init.jcs file and put in place values on a per Process Server basis.
    So what I believe you should do is remove the key you added to each of your sap instances and instead edit the SubmitFrameStatus key under:
    Configuration -> Environment -> Registry -> Public -> RWS -> Repository -> Parameters
    Set your status code values here.  Note too that the statuses are CPS statuses NOT SAP status.  I would probably not include the A (cancelled) since if you really want to cancel a job you don't want it to be rescheduled.  An SAP job that's Cancelled is going to go to either Error or Killed (can't remember) in CPS.
    With the above set you should be fine.
