Workitem not getting accessed in universal worklist

Hi all
i have configured a customized workflow and its working nice in GUI,now the problem is that when a workitem is send to the person ,it is getting displayed in the person's universal worklist but it can not be accessed
like in SWEFVISU i have maintained both the task and object' visual parameters settings
like
task ---the task id used in workflow
visualization parameter for task--
object
object's visualisation parameters
i mean these 4 settings are there
from my understanding i have set every entry but its not working
can any one please advise what settings i have to maintain pertaining to SWEFVISU
so that i can access my workitem in the persons universal worklist
any help will be highly appreciated

Could not get access to download area on SAP Service Marketplace

Hi All,
When trying to download the SAP Mobile Execution for Motorola software in the download center in the Application and User Management work center, I get the following error message:
"Could not get access to download area on SAP Service Marketplace."
I have also search for this software in the Service Marketplace, but to no avail.
I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of where I can download this software, or ideally the cause and solution to this error message.

Hi John,
Issue might be due to incorrect data in the system i.e., license codes assigned to your contract may be invalid or expired or Contract/ order is blocked due to payment issues.
These information has to be checked in detail.
Please report a incident.

Accidentally changed the path of the home directory and now I can not get access my profile.

before the way was /valumes/macintosh hd/igor but then i decided to remove a space between macintosh and HD then I restarted my mac and after reloading I can not get access my profile. Thanks for the helping.

Boot up holding command-r keys into your Recovery Volume and re-install OS X on the volume.
This will be an install "in place" and shouldn't effect any of your own data or settings.

Workitem not getting created

Hi,
I have build a workflow based on "QMSM" at event "COMPLETED". I have done the event linkage correctly and transported the customizing request in the client I want to test it in.
The workflow has been activated without error. Itu2019s working when I test it from development environment, that is, from workflow builder.
When I create a notification and complete the task, the event "COMPLETED" is getting triggered of "QMSM" object. In the event trace I could find out the green indicator against the event which means the workflow was recognized by event manager.
But there is no workitem getting created. Could you please help me finding out the problem behind it?
Why is workitem not getting created?
Event Trace result is:

The problem is workflow is not getting triggered.
I had triggered the WF manually by executing the FM SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF (from se 37 directly) which resulted in work item (WF instance) created. The WF error issue (Exception on ZFM) has been removed.
The process that i follow:
(1) I create a notification and add a task & complete the task. <--- This does not trigger WF (and this my problem)
(2) Event trace gives the things in GREEN. I double click the event trace record.
(3) I get the necessary parameters from event trace corresponding to the event (COMPLETED) of object type QMSM and execute the FM SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF. This result in creation of a work item (triggering of work flow), In other word - A instance of WF is created that we can call the work item.
My problem is -> even after correct event linkage, why is workflow not getting triggered?
Could you please point out what would be going wrong?

PO Approval Items Workitems are not removed from the Universal Worklist UWL

Hi,
Certain of our purchase orders require approval, they are sent to the relevant approver via workflow to their SAP inbox (SBWP) and universal worklist.
When the user executes the workitem (Approve or Reject) The workitem should be removed from the universal worklist and SBWP when refreshed.
The problem we experiencing is that the Workitems are not removed from the UWL after they have been executed. The SBWP is behaving correctly and the items are removed.
It is not all the workitems that have this problem, only certain ones - but there is no pattern.

The user B approved the PR accessing the transaction SBWP or via PR transaction directly?
If via PR transaction directly, then your workflow needs a Wait Event step.

* same Channle ( What is the difference between the channel number 6 & number 11 for example?)
* security ( i used WPA2 mixed, that is not in WRE54G, so what i should use)
* Each Expander has own IP address as 192.168.1.2 up to 192.168.1.8
Is the gateway mean the main IP of router 192.168.1.1 ?
all those expanders connected with WRT160N ( the Link gets Blue light)
but my laptop can not get the IP address near of any of those expanders, to get the access to the internet!!!!
What is the reason please?

I am very happy to communicate with you ( I sure i can learn some thing from you my brother )
Your words are true seven the number of expanders is not easy option
or the cause of the success of the wireless network coverage May succeed strengthened,
with one or two, but more than that needs to be a better distributor.
I think I will use RangePlus WRT110 as repeater in some floor where the wireless signal
is not can work, after connecting through the wire with the main router,
and then I can get half the reference from the repeater when i useing the WRE54G expander
What do you think?!!

Workitem not getting deleted from SAP inbox

Hi ,
I have a scenario in workflows , in which when a user creates a timesheet , a mail goes to approver , when the timesheet is approved the mail should get automatically deleted .
We have created a standard task for this purpose ( a copy of TS31000007) .
The business Object is CATS , terminating event is COMPLETED , method is APPROVE . There is no triggereing event a FM is being used .
The standard task is copied in two test environments , from first system the mail gets automatically deleted , but from the second one it is not getting deleted .
Also the workflow log in SWEL doesnt show any rows in the second system .
In the first system , there are 4 steps in the workflow log :
Dialog work item created
Background process started
terminating event received
work item processing complete
Though the workitem has deleted , but the status of the workflow is in Progress
while the second has only two steps in workflow log
Dialog work item created
Background process started
and the workflow status is "Ready"
I guess the terminating event in the second case is not getting received .
but ,I have checked sweinst and found that the instance linkage is activated .
Also when the workitem is approved , it does not get delete , and if we try to re execute it again , the gives a msg " NO data found "
Can someone help me to find why the mail is stuck in the inbox and correct this problem.

Unless and until the Terminating event is triggered the workitem will not disappear. Check how the Event is getting triggered in other system. I feel it is getting triggered by standard means. Check whether there is proper settings in SWEHR3.
It means that you are not doing any special configuration for event triggering or coding. Please check what is missing in the system you are having problem. Check SWU3 setting is fine or not.

Asynch task workitem not getting terminated

hi,
Even after triggering event which is the terminating event of my task the workitem is not getting terminated. I am passing object key to in swe_event_create function module.
Is there any setting required in transaction swe2.

Did you define the Outcome in your work item . Activate the event and define the consequent steps . This will take care automatically.
Check you binding too.

Workitems not getting approved in SRM

We have shopping cart created but even after approving the item by the approving manager - shopping cart still shows in Awaiting Approval status and a new line ite gets created under the main item. No PO gets generated. All workflow related settings are maintained correctly.

if this is only a one time problem and you need to create the follow-on document, you can trigger the SC transfer with the function 'BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER' with the GUID of the SC (you can get the GUID from the transaction BBP_PD). If there is no error in the SC, the PO will be created (in this case the workitem won't be closed).
If the new line created under the main line item can not be deleted, I would suggest to delete the whole SC, and create a new one.

We have AD level 2012R2, DCs running 2012R2 of course, and we have clustered File Server (3 FSNodes running 2012R2).
We enabled 2 policies
KDC Support for claim
Kerberos support for claim
We created 1 claim type in ADAC (For example "Division" Source Property). Filled this property to all IT AD Accounts by our value "IT"
On FS made a share folder ITDivision:
- set permissions Domain Users can Modify if User.Division equals "IT"
so on Windows 8 IT Users can access files on this share and on Windows 7 they cant

How is it going? Was there any error message? As far as I know, Dynamic Access Control (DAC) should work for downlevel clients. It’s backwards compatible. As Florain explains in the following blog:
For non-Windows 8 and non-Windows Server 2012 boxes accessing DAC-protected file shares, the users do not carry any claims. For them, the Server 2012-based file share will query Active Directory and proxy the claims request to figure out what claims
the user and machine bring. The file server checks in the name of the user, whether they should have claims. With that information, the file server evaluates the access to the file share. So yeah – DAC works for downlevel clients, too. It’s backwards compatible.
And totally transparent to Windows 7.

WorkItem Not Getting Executed Completely

Hi All,
In my SAP Business Wokplace Iam sending a workitem to the appropriate agent. Now when the agent will execute the Workitem it will open a BSP application and as soon as he finishes the work with BSP application he clicks on a CLOSE button and at that point the BSP application will be closed.
But when he completes the execution of the work item then it should not appear in the SBWP , but here in my case it is still available even after exectuing the workitem , do i need to use any FM 's suggest me.
Can anybody help me regarding this issue.

Hello Pavan,
Does your workitem have a terminating event? In this case you should raise this even in your BSP application (when clicking on close) by using the FM SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT or the method cl_swf_evt_event=>raise.

User is not getting access after providing him db_owner also in SQL 2000 SP4

Team,
I have one instance of SQL 2000 SP4.
On this, one user wants access to update / drop user defined table.
I have given him db_datawriter & db_ddladmin role but he is still not able to perform his operation ( update or drop)
Server: Msg 229, Level 14, State 5, Line 1
DELETE permission denied on object '<Table>', database '<DB>', owner 'dbo'.<Server_Name>
Also given individual update/drop on some tables, but still error.
Finally, given him db_owner also but no success.
Anybody .. what could be issue ??

Can you check if there is any DENY for that user?
If there is DENY then it will outwiegh.
Can you run
sp_helprotect
and check if the permission is properly given and if there is any DENY?
