Worklists appear only in read mode

Hi,
I had created a worklist, to which i added some objects(iViews) and clicke the relaease worklist. but when trying to publish it, the worklist is opend only in read only mode (even from the admin user). how to change it to edit mode.
Can anyone help me.

Check if the object is Locked or someone used.
Goto System Admin>Monitoring>Portal-->Object Locking...

Address Book Notes for New Contacts Appear Only In Edit Mode

When I create a new contact in +Address Book+, exit Edit mode, and then add a Note to that new contact, the note is visible only when the contact is switched to Edit mode. This does not effect existing contacts. This problem first appeared yesterday. I didn't do anything unusual with +Address Book+ before the emergence of the problem.
I followed these instructions to rebuild the +Address Book+ database but it had no effect on this problem: "Quit Address Book and drag ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/AddressBook-v22.abcddb to the desktop. It will be rebuilt from the details in Metadata when you restart AB."

I exported the contact list and deleted Library/Application support/Address book and then re-imported. Everything is fine now.

PDF printer has a problem with Safari in "Reader" mode in Windows7

As shown in the image above. When I try to use the PDF printer to print out a web page in Safari "Reader" mode, the lines near the bottom of each page get squeezed like this. There is no problem with XPS printer. I guess this problem is because of some incorrect settings in Safari or the PDF printer?
My system is Windows 7 Pro. I am using Acrobat X Pro. The page I am trying to print is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_band_structure. This problem only happens when the webpage is adjusted into "Reader" mode in Safari.

I am sorry, I did not make my question clear. I would like to save some web pages only in "Reader" mode, because in this mode all the advertisements are filtered out and the pages look much nicer than the origional layout.
I first let Safari to active "Reader" by clicking "Reader" button.
Then I click "Print" button and select Adobe PDF as the printer.
The problem is the PDF file has something wrong (shown above), and I would like to know how to avoid this problem.

Now I can start my Mac Pro only in "secure mode." I'm still appears on all monitors a series of bands such as seen in the attached file. Someone can give me a diagnosis? Thank you.

In Safe/Secure Mode many Drivers are not loaded. When your computer works in Safe Mode, but not regular mode, two types of problems are implicated:
1) Third-party kernel extensions. a conflict with some part of Mac OS X means that when those extensions load, your Mac can not run.
2) Failed graphics card. Since the Driver for the display is not loaded, the display in Safe Mode uses a very simple built-in Driver. In regular mode, once the driver is loaded, all parts of the graphics card must be working, or you could get bands of color on the display (which is just what you reported).

Reader mode available on only some of the wiki pages.

Long story short I have a script that runs to create a back up of the info in our wiki. The script is set to change the view to reader mode so that the info extracted is cleaner without all the wiki buttons etc. My issue is that the Lion Server's Wiki does not seem to generate a reader view for all pages only some. Can't seem to find what determins if the page gets the reader option or not. Anyone out there know?

You missed off the S from sports.
I'm no expert but until one turns up I have an idea for you to think about.
When you move to one of your gallery pages it appears that you are losing the URL to your slideshow or the javascript. This might be because the gallery folder is one step removed from the root than the other pages.
You might need to change the paths to take account of that added level or move the gallery pages up a level.
Hope I made that clear and like I say, I'm no expert.
Did you define your site in Dreamweaver?

Issue SLFI should open in read only or display mode

If we open an issue in CRM_DNO_MONITOR we can choose whether the issue
should be opened in change mode or read mode.
We can do this by means of >Extra > Settings and then choosing for
Display or Change in the General tab.
This way we can read issues as a default setting, this way the issue is
not locked !! Only if we want to change it we set it to change mode and
continue with the issue.
However if we do the same using DSWP or SOLMAN_ISSUE_MGMT the issue is
always opened in change mode, and results in a lot of locks in the
system. How can this be changed, is there some kind of customizing for
this or menu option.
The handling of issue does not seem to be consistent for the different
methods in handling them.
Who has the same problem with locking?
Who has a working bypass w/o manual switching from change to display?

And yes, I did try both through PowerShell and through the Unlocker and the behavior is pretty much the same. If the item is checked in, there is no trace that it is locked, if I Check it Out (the only thing I can really do with it) it shows as "LongTerm"

How to hide save button / read mode only in browser adobe viewer?

Currently I embed a pdf to my website , the problem is, I would like to show the read mode only instead of a full tool bar to the visitor , also , I would like to hidden the save file option .
I checked there is an open parameter in the offical document that can specific

However, can I specific what opition is allow in the toolbar (actually I would like to allow only zoom function )

I tried reseting it by holding the menu and center button it stop but then it goes back to the apple logo screen and stay on untill the battery dies and nothing else happens how can I reset it to is factory settings?

How to modify edit/read mode pop up for documents in "SP2013" to open in only read only mode

Hi,
When opening a document the users of my site and including me are getting a pop up asking to open it in read only or edit mode. We want to disable the edit option for end users. Those are confidential doc's.
We want them to open only in read only mode. How can it be achieved.
Can we FORCE a read-only open of the document without giving anyone the option to open in edit mode? I don't have access to Central Admin. Hence kindly let me know if there is some javascript
code that i can use to do this from browser.

If users have edit permission on the documents in this library, even if we disable this dialog (by disabling the add-on "SharePoint OpenDocuements class" from IE browser), the users sitll could download the documents to local machine, and
edit the documents in client Office application, then sync to library.
If you want the users to read these confidential documents only, you can only grant the users read-only permission on the document items or on library level, then they could unable to edit these confidential docs, note to give proper users
proper permissions.
If you also want that the confidential docs could be opend and read-only in client Office application, you can configure the IRM (implemented by RMS) for SharePoint server, then set the document items in the library read-only for
some users.

How can I make the field "Storage Location" in mode "only read" in the part of "Goods Movements"?
I tried using the SHD0 "Transaction Variant" and it worked partially, I mean the field is on "only read mode" but when you select a batch from another storage location the field changes and it can be saved.
How can I restrict this transaction in order to only allow users to make movements from the predefined storage location (or not to change it).
