Works fine, but only the backlight shows up--help!
My ipod classic turns on, but it's just a white screen. I can still use it if I remember what order everything is in, and the sound is fine, but I can't see anything! I've tried resetting it and restarting it. Help!

such 'behaviour' usually is a hint that your Windows XP does not include the SP2 (Service Pack 2) or later, but is a SP1 or earlier.
Check the label of the CD for mentioning of SP2.
If SP1 you can use these instructions http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxpsp2slipstream.asp to make yourself a XP SP2 Installation CD.
XP SP2 or later is a must for BootCamp to work.

Hi Forum, can u please help? iRecently bought a macbook pro and garageband 11 was working fine but now it's showing a question mark in the dock and it won't open. I think it may have been accidentally trashed. I've searched the trash and spotlighted but don't know what to do next. Any ideas? Thanks.
How did you install GarageBand on your Mac? Did it come preinstalled with the other iLife applications?
If your MacOS supports the AppStore, you should be able to redownload GarageBand from the AppStore, see this support Article: OS X: About OS X Recovery on how to download again:
Double-click the App Store icon in the dock.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Click Purchases.
If you haven't previously accepted your bundled iLife applications within the Mac App Store, you should see your iLife applications appear in the Accept portion of the screen. Click Accept.
You may be asked for your Apple ID and password once again. Your iLife applications now move to the Purchased section. These applications are part of the software that came with your Lion based computer. Your account will not be charged for them. Click Install to complete installation of your applications.

HT4527 Home Sharing Playlists? I exported but only the titles show up. not the songs.
Using Home Sharing, I was able to access all my music on a 2nd PC.
Using the File > Library > Export Library function, I was able to transfer my playlists too but only the playlist titles show up; no songs shown.
I know the correct files are being shared as O can play them from the main music menu on the new computer.
Both computers are PC and both have the current version of iTunes (11.1.5.5)
Any ideas? I have tried both exporting playlists individually and exporting my library as a whole. In both cases the playlist names show up on the new computer but there are 0 songs shown.

JeffI had this problem today and posted a fix that helped me earlier today.
Try turning off home sharing on both computers and then logging out of itunes on both. Log back into itunes and turn home sharing back on. This fixed my problem. Of course this assumes all other settings are correct. Like I said i posted a step by step fix for this earlier today around 3 o'clock. good luck. -
AS2 contact form and php - works fine but only sends half of the text in the comments field ???
hi all - i have an AS2 contact form using php to send the info to my email address - it all works fine except this ..... rather than having an empty comments box in the flash movie i had added a whole bunch of feedback questions that the user can comment yes/no to in the comments box (my feedback questions were added into the input text box in cs3 so are there when the user opens the contact page .. i have set the maximum characters to 10000 so no worries that its that that is stopping it all coming through in the email ..... basically when i go to my form online and send it i get it through as an email but with only three quarters of the feedback text in it ...... i have tried a zillion ways a round this, tried other contact forms and php and always end up with the same problem ... any ideas any one ?

BO method works fine but not the wokflow step.

Just needed a suggestion. I have a PO attachment workflow. When i see the workflow log I see some error at the step check attachment. But when I run the step task method in this step seperately from BO, it works fine, i just pass the same container elements as i get in the workflow id to this method of the step.
So now any kind of hint what and where could be the problem. As I can see there is no problem with the task method.
Any guess?

My facebook loads but only the toolbar shows.
I gat e blank screen when i load facebook but only on my laptop. The toolbars come up at the top but everything else is blank. I can access it with an https log on but then when i click a link or my profile i just get the same blank pages.

My iphone 3GS pics are getting really blurry. At first it didn't happen. I`ve tryed cleaning the lens, but it didn`t work. What else should I try doing?
I would call Apple tech support, which is excellent. Or take the phone to your local Apple store - not AT&T or Verizon, as the Apple techs specialize in Apple products and are somewhat fanatical about them.
Regarding the photos, they are probably still on the simm card in the phone and recoverable. Check with the Apple folks to get them back... sorry about your pet! -
Ffox browser works fine, but 'navigation cancelled' window shows up and I cannot get rid of it

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My MBP was working fine, but then the display just shut off... What should I try?
I was using my MacBook Pro 2011 13', when the display suddenly shut off. I thought at first that the computer shut down, but after a hard reset, the computer is on (keys lighting up, fan noises, heartbeat light on) but the display is completely black. I no longer have apple coverage. Does anyone have a recommendation of things I could try before taking it in?

I'm new to this. Going on a trip, bought an ipad for my daughter-figured most of it out. I transferred her music from my computer to my ipad. Still in the process of importing CD's to my computer....all of a sudden, stopped importing! Tried the trouble shooting, and it says it's not detecting a CD in the drive. What happened? How do I fix this?
