Works good in music, bad on ga
I have read alot of peoples issue's but I never heard someone have good sound on music, but bad sound on games. I have tried every mode. I have turned everything off (eax, crystaliz etc.) I have tried it with everything on also. My bios is by ami and the date is 2/03/05. My chipset is up to date. I have raid installed? but im only using hard dri've. My xfi-plat is rev-d. Does anyone have this same problem and does anyone have any suggestions. Its a shame when regular people in forums have better advice than tech support.

My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calls does not work. It looks like it is working but doesn't. I have tried in my Hyundai Sonata and a Dodge Dart rent car and get the same results. I updated the last 8.0.2. It worked the first day i had the phone, and then i updated to Ios 8.0.2 and it quit working.
Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call. This is happening on both cars.
Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

I just download and install itunes 10.5 and it worked good the first days but since yesterday it crashed up, and everytime i start it it crashes again and logged me out each time. it can´t acces my itunes account. I´m using snow leopard the last version. What can i do to solve this problem and and continue using my itunes normally?
Try doing it in a WIndows Safe mode - Restart computer and hit F8 key right after your see BIOS check and choose "Safe mode with networking"
Do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that does not work, whilst in safe mode, download Free Malwarebyte software from CNET's Download.com. Install, update virus definition then perform a full scan. Remove if it did find some viruses or trojans. Restart computer.
Back to regular windows, do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that doesnot work, check to see if your Hard drive has errors or bad sectors
GO START BUTTON /COMPUTER, right mouse click OS (C:) and choose "Properties"
Choose "Tools" tab and under error checking, click "Check Now".
Make sure "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" is checked and click start.
Restart windows will perform the above task to fix errors This may take hours depends on how big is your Hard Drive

Have you checked the volume button? It might be physically stuck. To determine whether a hardware repair is needed, you need to follow these steps:
1. Try doing a hard reset:
Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
After that: test the device to see whether the issue is solved.
2. If the issue is not solved, you should backup the device and restore it as new.
In that case, use: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
NB: set up as a NEW device because a software issue will be in the backup.
If the issue persists after restoring as new, you should offer the device for service.
If you get specific error messages/codes in iTunes when updating/restoring, check this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694 for causes and solutions

Hi there, I have a problem with my iPod Classic (from 2009). Everytime I connect it to my computer (Windows), iTunes does not work anymore. Music is automatically deleted on my iPod. Any suggestions please?
Thanks, for info, iPod Classic is a slower machine compared the Nano, unfortunately, if you read these discussions, majority of the freezes involved iTunes 10. Although if might be just slow and some impatient user just disconnect the iPod ands cause more problems. ( Yes I also did that but safely by doing a iPod Hard Reset, before disconnecting).

Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
My suggestion.
Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
Stop the Antivirus program
Connect your iPod to the PC, using a high speed USB 2.0 port at the back of your PC, do not use any USB Hub.
When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well.
When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.

It should. I don't see why it wouldn't. It all depends on the quality of the headphones though. You should borrow one from someone who has it and test the headphones itself (music, calls, and other features)

My apple TV works fine with my I-Phone 4s. But one program from one of the application I downloaded from the app store dont work. When I load that a message comes "an error occured while loading this program" This is only for one program all other most of the time works good. Any one knows why ?

My apps don't work after synching music files from my PC through Itunes....though all the apps are shown in the Apps window in Itunes (The Apps match the iTunes account on the iPhone).....
Disconnecting after the sync and After downloading any app from Appstore through Wi-Fi all my apps start working.....
Please Help.....What happend is your phone forgot it was authorized to work with items associated with your apple id. If it happens again, download any free app to prompt the sign in, once you install the free app the others should work.

Windows movie maker dose not seem to work with itunes music anymore. Hear is what happend in a nut shell.
For reasons I can not explain I had to reinstall all my software on my Vista HP notbook. But I only had one why of saving my data music,photos. I had to use my flash drive to save everything as my DVD recoder would not work right at the time.
So I save everything I needed and then did the deed then when that was all done and everything was working right again. I put all my photos and music back to my computer. All my music or aleast most of my music is from itunes some music is from CD I do not have anymore.
My question is when I go to put music with my movie or slideshow with Windows movie maker. A box pops up and tells me that this song dose not have the right codec but it also tell me did I download the right codec. I have know idea what its talking about. Movie Maker worked fine with itunse music before the reinstall. I am thinking I did not save the music right though the music plays great on itunes but just will not import right to my movie project. I am at a lose for words can someone please help me shed some well needed light on this all the help I can get would be a God send thank you.this happens to me too can someone please tell us what is going on?

The setting for iPad cover lock/unlock is in settings > general for iPad 2.
The iPad 2 and new iPad if both are using iOS 5.x or later the setting exist in settings > general.
So, if you worked at an apple store I think you should have known that the setting exist.
You are right, a hard reset (force restart) should only be used if iOS device is unresponsive or apps crashing...etc.
But, a simple restart helps as well. -

Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:

and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error. -
My iphone 5 power button broke so now I've got a replacement device. Ive restored all of my old data and everything worked besides my music. Any ideas how i get this back on my new device?
After the restore completed, you need to sync music back. Music is not part of the backup. Just connect the phone back to the computer and sync,.
