Workspace background color : how to change it ?

Hello,
Is there a way to change the color (a more dark grey) of the background color of the workspace ? I find the one used by PSE4 (and previous versions) too light. I would prefer a more dark grey, like the one used by Photoshop CS2 (and if this one is good, why not the same in PSE4 Mr Adobe ?).
Best regards,

> The default colour is an entirely neutral grey
No... for me, a neutral grey is a 50% grey, all backgrounds are about 80% grey (very light).
Kenneth : OK, but it don't works for quick fix and to for the organizer... only for standard edit...

  • How to stretch background image, How to change show detail item header

    Hello all I have a few questions I would like to pose humbly to your collective wisdom, FYI I use Jdeveloper 11.1.3 and ADF Fusion
    First, how do I stretch the background Image? I have a background image in a show detail item but it is very small. 400 by 400. Thing is it's just a pic of the color red gradually moving from bright to dark in the image. So stretching it should not make it look horrible, but also repeating it makes it look silly, because you have 50 little images of dark red to bright red, instead of one big image of dark red to bright red. Can this be done and how?
    Secondly how do I change the header of the show detail item in a Panel Accordion? I have 8 Show detail items, in the middle of my page and the user can click and switch between which one is open, which makes for a nice effect, but I would like to give each of the show detail items a particular color. I did this with the backgrounds but I can't do it with the header, which are always visible, while only one background is visible at a time. I tried using the skinning technique but I wasn't able to change the header (I changed the background so the skinning was done correctly). I used
    af|panelAccordion::header
      color: blue;
      font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
      background: Maroon;
      background-color: Maroon;
    }Because I read in the Fusion Guide (or somewhere) that the show detail item cannot be skinned and therefore doesn't have a property like af panel Accordion.
    Can it though be achieved through some other means?
    Third when I drop the data control on the page and if I pick search form, why can't I use the CreateInsert button? Why can't I use the form to Create new rows? It keeps giving me some type of error, like Row is out of bounds or something? Is that some mistake with my database, or page, or is it not possible to do it like that?
    I welcome your words of guidance and also happy new year Huzzah!!!

    Thanks I haven't really had time to play around with this, as I have other concerns, but I do plan on coming back to it, and it is one of the things about ADF that really is bothersome. Creatively it means I can choose between 2 styles when making an app Blaf Rich and Fusion (the other ones are just worse versions of the two) while I will concede that the superb out of the box functionalities and things I can do declaratively probably mean I won't have a Dreamweaver type freedom of design I thought there might be a way to do some of these custom design changes.
    A few questions though
    When you skin the accordion are you able to propagate the changes to show detail item headers? Because that is one thing that I really want to change, just the color of the headers but I was unable to do so.
    Also there is a component that is not part of a panel accordion or panel tabbed called panel box. Again I changed the backgrounds to great effect but I need to change the panel header and in this I failed.
    Granted I used the css color attribute for both not a picture so maybe that is the reason. Just wondering if you succeeded.
    Cheers

  • Dynamic Page background color - where to change?

    Where can I change color of table background for dynamic page?
    Thanks in advance
    best regards
    Krzysztof Jungowski

    Hi,
    sorry for posting html code. I have found the solution.
    The dynamic page body is rendered by
    PORTAL30.wwv_render_report.show() procedure. I can add aditional parameter "p_table_bgcolor" to procedure
    i.e. p_table_bgcolor => '#CCCCCC'
    The default colors are definied in package definition PORTAL30.wwv_render_report.
    best regards

    Hi,
    I tried your advice and it doesn't help.
    Now the source of generated page is as follows:
    [H2]Example of A Dynamic Page[H2]
    [TABLE border="0" bgcolor="#FFOOOO"]
    [TABLE border="0" cellspacing=0 cellpadding=2 style="background-color:#E0E0D0"]
    [TR]
    [TH ALIGN="LEFT" style="background-color:#C0C0A0" ] [TH]
    Maybe there is any stylesheet in which I can chage bgcolor? Or maybe this stylesheet is generated somehow and I can change its parameters?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Change cell background rule: how to change automatically?

    Hi All,
    I'm using a sheet as follows:
    the purpose is to take note of lap times on a circuit. I've 3 sectors (S1, S2, S3) which compose an entire lap. I would insert in the sectors cells a rule that will change the background of the cell when the sector time is better than the previous lap one, so I can track visually when the driver improves.
    How is it possible?
    Thank you, best regards.

    Hi Riccardo,
    What you want to do is possible. As a practical matter, it can be done easliy for a small table, but would be tedius to program for a large table. If you will have a small table, replicated, or a table in a template document, you will be ok.
    Use Conditional Format to compare sector times to previous sector times. Since Conditional format cell references aren't relative, they won't properly update when copied to other rows and columns, so must be programmed one at a time.
    Here's an example with two methods...
    For S1, I programmed a Custom Format the tedious way, in column A. In S2 and S3, I added narrow columns to the right and programmed them to detect the relative time condition. Then the Custom Format is easy.
    The expression in C3 is: =IF(B3>B2, " ",IF(B2>B3, "  ","")), copied to the rest of the little square cells.
    I formatted for Green Fill when the string "  " (2 space characters) is detected. Note that I programmed all three conditions, less than, equal and more than, but only did the less than case in the format, since that's what you asked for.
    Regards,
    Jerry

  • How can I programly change button's blink speed, blink forground/background color?

    How can I programly change button's blink speed, blink forground/background color?
    Besides changing the LabVIEW.ini, is there another method to achieve?

    I was about to post a new one on this old thing but came across this when running the exe file from a vi with a blinking and back/foreground color property. In the vi mode everything worked properly as intended with the properties (different color and transparent other than the manual setting under the options->color), including changing the the color under options menu. But the exe file made the BG/FG color to red and yellow while blinking. I came across this topic a long time ago but never used the blinking indicators in the .exe files. NI or someone else has said this is a bug or the default in .exe running environment, please confirm this so I do not have to play around with this.
    Also attached is the .ini file from the .exe file and how I add a BG/FG color line to get it working like blue when visible and transparent when not?
    Thanks in advance!

  • How to change front panel indicator properties such as background color or enable/disable programmatically?

    Is it possible to change the properties of a front panel indicator such as background color or to change from enabled to disabled-grayed out programatically in response to limit conditions or a time-out?

    "Disabled" means that the control/indicator will not respond to a user operation. However, the displayed data can still change. What you want to do can be easily achieved using a case structure : wire your boolean to the case input, and put your indicator in the "True" case condition. That way, it will be updated only when the digital input is set to true.

    I know this is New To Java, so I need to be nicer and most of you people don't probably have the intrinsic knowledge of "start tag" and "end tag".
    But still. All you need is to put your code between tags and everything will work great.
    AND HEY, There's the preview button too! So you can actually try and try and try until it works. It's just that programming is a difficult hobby and if you can't work the code tags, you really need to rethink whether you're ready for something that's actually complicated.
    (Also if you're not using the code tags, your code will totally get screwed up and people can't help you even if they wanted to.)
    As for your code, try using SwingUtilities.invokeLater(). That's the only way you can modify the GUI when you're not running in the event thread.

  • How to change ps file page background to transparent

    Hi,
    I'm converting html to ps, but it produces a solid white background color. how should I change the ps file so the page background will be transparent after converted to image?

    In the case of this sample file, the white background is generated by the statements (the comments beginning with a percent sign added by me):
    b [1 1 1] sc % set red, green, and blue to maximum, i.e. white
    b 0 0 800 47 re % define a rectangle that describes the area
    b f % fill the rectangle with the defined color
    Note that the instructions like "sc" etc. are defined in the prologue section of the file.
    And the file looks like generated by (or by a descendant of) the xpdf suite from a PDF file. Therefore the possibility of an algorithmic solution for stuff like this seems rather unlikeky
