I am trying to download the Oracle Workspace Manager 10g, but I could not find in the Oracle Workspace dowload (for the 10g release)!!!

Prevent Adobe application manager auto install downloaded software

I used Adobe application manager to download a trial version of photoshop cs6, but I need to install it at another time. Adobe application manager instead installs photoshop immediately.

You can only download a trial once, so you need to download it when you can use it.

Desktop Manager Appication Loader can't find new downloaded software

I recently bought and downloaded E-Mobile Professional Edition for my Blackberry Curve. I downloaded to my computer and opened up my BB desktop manager in order to download it to my curve. I go to the Application Loader in order to search for the downloaded software and I get this message:
"no additional applications designed for your device were found" error during installation,
The problem is that BlackBerry desktop manager you have is not updated".
But I do have the lastest desktop manager.
Anyone have any idea what I do next?

If you do not already have the device software downloaded go here http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Scroll to the very bottom, and select your carrier, and download/install the device software.
Once that is downloaded go to
-My computer,
-C Drive,
-Program Files,
-Common Files,
-Research In Motion,
-Apploader,
-Loader.
Make sure the device is connected to the computer first.
Then a loader wizard will pop up, keep clicking next until it starts to reload the device software onto the blackberry.
If this does not work the first time, try it again, WITHOUT the battery in the device.
This process may take up to 45 minutes, you will see a hourglass on your device, DO NOT disconnect until you see your main screen on your blackberry.

In Oracle Client 10g .v2 the product OLAP Analytic Workspace Manager/Worksheet is included and installed.
However , it is not in Oracle 11g - the Oracle client of this version is included -

AWM is now installed via the database Client CD, which was the case for 10g as well.

Install Analytic Workspace Manager

Hi
I have installed Oracle 10g(10.1.0.2) with OLAP option enabled.
I would like to create some cubes using Analytic Workspace manager. When I look into Oracle HomeàIntegrated Management Tools, I wouldn’t find Analytic Workspace manager.
Do I need to install Analytic Workspace manager separately? If it comes along with the oracle suite, what did I want to do to have analytic workspace manager in my machine?

AWM does need to be installed separately. Download it from OTN and install (really just unzip!). http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/htdocs/devlic.html?=http://download.oracle.com/otn/java/olap/AWM102030_Win.zip

Analytic Workspace Manager now available on OTN

The Analytic Workspace Manager can now be downloaded from OTN at http://otn.oracle.com/software/htdocs/devlic.html?http://download.oracle.com/otn/java/olap/awm920.zip. It's 217MB and i've got it downloading now...
It requires the 9.2.0.4.1 patch which can be downloaded from Metalink, using patch number 3084634
To apply the 9.2.0.4.1 patch, you also need to have installed the 9.2.0.4 database patch beforehand, which can be downloaded from metalink using patch number 3095277.

I've managed to install the AWM + requisite patches now, and it's converting a relational star schema as I speak. Some points to note (not all steps listed here BTW)
1. I first applied the 9.2.0.4 patch to an existing 9.2.0.1 database installation, which was installed alongside 9iAS R2, 9iDS, OWB9.2 and 9.0.4, and Express Server 6.3.4. The installer failed at an early stage with a 'resource bundle' error, and therefore I removed all Oracle software from my laptop, reinstalled just the Database 9.0.2.0.1, and started again from there.
2. Follow the steps in the readme to drop the XMLCONCAT function, shutdown the database, and stop all services (including the database) in the ORACLE_HOME. Make sure you exit out of SQL*Plus before moving on.
2. Run the 9.2.0.4 patch installer, install the new OUI, then install the 9.2.0.4 patch.
3. Find the init.ora file (in my case named init.ora.962003152553 and located in C:/9ir2/admin/markr/pfile), and amend the file setting java_pool_size and shared_pool_size > 150M. You may need to set sga_max_size to a figure that is greater than these two amounts to fit this in. The figures I used were;
sga_max_size=500000000
java_pool_size=160554432
large_pool_size=8388608
shared_pool_size=160331648
4. Startup the listener (lsnrct start), and the database (using 'startup migrate)
5. set spool on, then run catpatch.sql
6. run @ %ORACLE_HOME%/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql
7. Unlock the OLAPSYS account, then connect as OLAPSYS, then run @ %ORACLE_HOME%/cwmlite/admin/postamd.sql. When I ran this script, I got an error saying that a column I tried to add ('IS_AGGREGATABLE') already existed, but the rest of the script ran ok.
8. I then unzipped the 9.2.0.4.1 patchset
9. Run the One-Off patch that comes with the 9.2.0.4.1 patchset (in the /oneoffs directory) before you install the main 9.2.0.4.1 patch
10. Once this has installed, start up the OUI that comes with Oracle 9i and select the products.jar file that comes with the patch. Install the patch as normal.
11. cd $ORACLE_HOME/olap/admin, then connect as sqlplus "/ as sysdba", then run @olapu92041.sql
12. Now the patches have all installed, unzip the awm920.zip file to a directory, run the installer, and the AWM will appear under the '%ORACLE_HOME%/Integrated Management Tools' start menu entry.
I'm now in the process of trying to create an analytic workspace. I've submitted the COST_CUBE from the SH schema that comes with 9iR2 for conversion, although from what I understand this will not convert properly, and it has to be replaced by the BIBDEMO schema that comes with the BI Beans 9.0.3 download (http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/bib/download.html). The conversion's at 55% at the moment, so i'll see how it goes, and report back.

First locate your carrier and the OS file you wish to use.

Running 5.5 U2e and VUM will no longer download software packages from patch source?

We had a vSphere 5.5 cluster configured for us by a 3rd-party through Dell as part of our purchase agreement. We are running vCenter Server 5.5 U2e on Windows 2012 R2 as a physical host. It does run Update Manager. In my most recent check today, Update Manager will scan a host and report patches that are needed. In this case we're at 5.5.0 Build 2456374 on our ESXi hosts. Update Manager detects 5 missing patches. After I put the host in maintenance mode, I remediate, select the patch group, and proceed through the screens. It starts its process and goes from 0% to 16% to 25% then sits there for about 1–3 minutes, then goes to 90%, 91%, and errors out saying:
"Cannot download software packages from patch source. Check the events and the Update Manager log for download details."
Multiple strange things:
This server was updating just fine a few months back when some previous patches were released.
It can see the internet just fine. No firewall issues.
Our failover site on the same network, but in a different location in the city is able to update just fine. Same hardware, network, and software versions.
Any ideas on where to look or what to try? I had gone ahead and update from vCenter Server 5.5 U2b to U2e (along with a VUM reinstall) hoping that would fix it, but it did not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because we're not VMware experts and thought everything was set up correctly by the vendor. We were given a small amount of knowledge transfer, but nothing that would allow us to troubleshoot this.
The Update Manager config listed in vCenter Server points to just three sources, that look to be the default from hostupdate.vmware.com and vapp-updates.vmware.com. None of the settings have been changed from the initial install and configuration that were working at one point in the last few months (when I last patched the hosts to 2456374).
Looking through the vmware-vum-server-log4cpp.log I see these failures:

Ok, that's cool. But here's my question then. Why is Update Manager still reporting that it's an available patch for our ESXi hosts? I'm new to this and am just trying to get an understanding to avoid confusion like this in the future.

Looks like this was the problem. VMwareCares Twitter account confirmed that Update Manager needed a new repository query to grab the new metadata. After rescanning the ESXi host again, the number of available patches dropped from 5 to 1. I'm now successfully patching the ESXi hosts through Update Manager once again. Crisis avoided.

Unable to create dimension in Analytic Workspace manager

I am trying to create dimension using Analytic Workspace Manager(AWM) and it throws the following error.

It sounds like a mismatch between an old version of AWM and a new version of the server. Please try a more recent version of AWM.

I need to acquire Management Agent Software for linux x86 using offline mode. I followed steps described in online documentation of Oracle Cloud Control 12c, section "4.2.3.2 Acquiring Management Agent Software in Offline Mode"
I downloaded the catalog file p9348486_112000_Generic.zip, but when I executed import_update_catalog as follow:

this error apears:
"Internal error while validating catalog file format: error in opening zip file"

If agent does not shutdown gracefully then kill all agent background processes by first grepping for agent perl and java processes only
--> Move your existing target.xml file
mv target.xml target.xml.old
--> Create an empty targets.xml file under /AGENT_INST/sysman/emd with the below content

--> Start the agent
$AGENT_INST/bin/emctl start agent
This starts agent but without any targets populated in targets.xml
To discover targets perform agent resynchronization operation from console

Creating Dimension using template in Analytical workspace manager

Hi,
I am rajan, I am working with Oracle's Analytical workspace manager Release 2.
I am trying to create the dimension using the templates from the file. it throws the following error,
The following errors have occurred when loading contents:

Note : I am referring the tutorial in the following URL,
