  • World Plan minutes used info...... Nonexistent, WOW!!

We signed up for the world plan several weeks ago, and if we had known that it would be this difficult to find out how many minutes we've used, we would have gladly pay more for a simple phone card.
So what's the deal folks? The website does not work. Under my services, voice, I see my WORLD PLAN, I see the usage bar, but there is no info, nothing even if you hover above it.
I've called a bunch of phone numbers, only to be forwarded to a different department every single time. How can there not be a simple number or texting system in place for us to find out our usuage?
After three different verizon numbers, this is my last stop, the forum. How can things be this difficult? Can anybody share their success story on what to do to find out minutes used or minutes left? This is a great way to cheat customers. They don't know how much they've used, so they're conservative and leave minutes that cannot be rolled over. Or, they go over and get charged an arm and a leg. Venting!!!!!!

This topic is just a demise, and apparently there is no regulator interested into looking in schemes like this.  According to their disclaimer Verizon is supposed to update the timer showing your minutes left not later than 48 hours, currently they have not updated mine for over a week!!  The week before your minutes period is set to expire they deactivate that feature, so that you either use the least possible amount or go over your threshold to bill you additionally by the minute.   It is just unbelievable what happens with this out of control organization.......

  • Tracking World Plan minutes used

I have the Verizon World Plan 500 service, and would like to know how to be able to track the minutes used. I did signed-in to My Verizon Sign-In. However, I could not find the link/menu/tab to see the minutes used. Any help is appreaciated.

Tried this Site and it says Sorry go back to the previous page. They seem to have difficulties and that is usual
for them lately. You call and they tell you to go under this Site and they never check for themself that is not working.

  • Verizon World Plan 500

How do track how many minutes you have available to use within a cycle when you purchase the plan in the middle of the month? Or, do your 500 minutes run from the date you purchase until thirty days from date?

I have Digital Voice and World Plan 300. I have failed completely to find the usage charts. I went to myverizon2.0, then My Verizon Services and selected Home Phone and Home Phone Overview. Plan Details is in the left hand column. I click it and it opens a screen with 5 tabs - Account Overview, Bill, Payment, Account Profile and My Perks. Also, phone capabilities including World Plan 300, but that is only a description. No sign of an additional Plan Details as you stated in your post.

as long as you have fios digital voice you should be able to get there this way  (myverizon2.0) you then have to go to the accounts overview page or the services page (verizon1.0web)
under my home phone, I see plan details. I click it.    it pulls up and I see on the left hand side a 2nd plan details.
I click that, and then I can see my minutes used.shows current useage as of xyz date, last call to lasted x min, total allowance 300 minutes, my cycle ends xyz,
has two tabs, current month and prior month
Any suggestions what I am doing wrong?

  • World plan mintues

in past i was able to see my world plan usage as a green bar . Since I download beta version i am not able to see the world plan information any more. Please help

The difference in your usage is more than likely because the international minutes you used on the start of your next billing cycle (August) were added to end of the previous billing cycle (July). Unfortunately that is the way VZ works, and it is wrong as far as I'm concerned. You should make a complaint about it. The international minutes should coincide with the billing cycle. The way VZ does it causes you to pay more for your minutes because it can cause you to go over the 500 minutes that are part of the plan.
Speaking to a representative will not help. I've tried and have gotten nowhere. This is an unpublished policy that should be stopped.

  • Verizon World Plan - Calls to Philippines blocked, but can call using other providers

We recently added Verizon World Plan to a regular (copper/non-FIOS) residential line, but calls to Philippines are being blocked with the message "We're sorry, calls to this area are blocked  VH005."  We can successfully dial the affected numbers directly with a T-Mobile cell phone and also using third party services like Startec, and have verified with Verizon customer servcie that we do not have an account block. Very frustrating, since we bought this plan specifically to call these numbers.

    Hello ChuckB,
Do you have a Fios Digital Voice line or a POTS line?

  • World Plan clarification

    Hello,
I will be traveling to Europe for 2 weeks and want to be able to call back home to the US and also locally while in Europe.  Am I correct in choosing the World Plan to be able to call to both areas and only pay the subscription price without incurring any additional charges or fees?
I've read through other posts regarding this plan and many of the subscribers ended up with additional charges.  Mostly because the country they were calling was not included in the allowed countries. But I just wanted to be sure before purchasing.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
As I understand you wish to call only US, in that case you can get just Unlimited US&Canada subscription from: http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
It doesn't matter where you are located, meaning if you have Unlimited US&Canada that covers US you can be in any country in the world and you can still call US
Though Unlimited World also works since it includes US, but it has higher price since it includes 39 other countries besides US.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

  • Verizon World Plan 500_tracking used minutes

Since I have subscribed above plan I am not able to track used minutes. The website to check is missing the spot to click. Different talks to Technical Service have not solved the problem. Last week Rep told me that they working on my problem.

I am having the same issue. My monthly period is suppose to end on the 12th of the month.  It is now the 18th of the month and it hasn't reset yet.  Additionally, it is showing that I've used 522 minutes of my 500 allocation. Amazingly, my Oct bill, produced on the 13th of Oct shows me using 443 minutes for the period 14 Sept to 13 Oct with my last overseas call being on the 24th of Sept.. Additionally, my 13 Sept bill showed me using 469 minutes ending on the 14 of Sept.  Something is screwy in the "State of Verzion".
It is almost impossible to figure out how many minutes you have remaining on your account and any point in time.  I would have to agree with  the previous respondent's comment that there is a method behind their maddening process, especially when they charge such a high 'per minute' rate if you exceed your plan's minutes.

  • My total world plan won't allow me to call a cell ...

  • Subscription to Unlimited World, Unlimited Minutes

I have a subscription to Unlimited World with Unlimited minutes, but I am unable to make any international calls. I have a 12 month unlimited subscription that I activated on December 17th 2014 and expires December 17th 2015. I am trying to make calls to both mobile numbers and landlines in Kenya. I keep getting an error message stating I need to add credit, but this is a one year pre-paid subscription so I should not have to add credit, which was the point of getting this. Can someone tell me why this not working? Thanks.

The 'world unlimited' subscription is actually limited to specific countries and, unfortunately, they don't include Kenya.
There is a full listing of what is included at the bottom of this page: http://www.skype.com/en/offers/unlimited-world-calling/

  • Facetime: iPhone 4 to iPhone 5 uses plan minutes?!?!?!

I have a iPhone 4 and my friend has an iPhone 5. We Facetime all the time, and she just recently found out that her minutes from her phone bill was being all used up. I never had seen this before and i tried searching this up online but no help. So i just wanted to know if Factiming would use your carrier minutes or wifi only?

No it does not count against your voice plan. If you are using Wi-Fi, it does not count against your plan at all. If you are using a cellular connection, it counts against the data plan, but not the phone plan.

  • Does Call Forwarding use Plan Minutes

If I forward iPhone calls to another phone, does AT&T charge me for every minute of the forwarded call (even though I didn't use the iPhone to talk)?? I would like to forward my calls to my OnStar hands free phone system when I am in the car (but don't want to pay Verizon for 30 minutes AND AT&T for 30 minutes for a 30 minute, forwarded call).
Before you say "no way they would do this..", read this from the Verizon call forwarding support page:
+Airtime applies to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send the call to wireline telephones.+
    http://support.vzw.com/features/callingfeatures/callforwarding.html

The AT&T people I have talked to "glaze over" when you talk about iPhone. I was hoping just one person in the forum would know (and do this on a regular basis). This answer will decide if I get an iPhone or not. I don't trust an answer from an AT&T call center or showroom floor salesperson. On the other hand, I trust the experts on this forum totally.

I am now 100% sure it is not bonafida. The operator kept stressing that it was a free call ..we'll see. But more than anything else .. she was very very keen to keep me on the line and when I challenged this ... she became quite aggressive ... which I told her. I know what US customer service is like and this woman did not have that training. She says her name was Jo-ann and her operator number is 1029. Mozilla might like to be aware of this activity and act upon it.
