I have a World Travel Adapter Kit for use with my iPad when traveling abroad. I know this charger can be used on an iPhone, can the plug adapters also be used with the charger of a Mac Book Pro or is a special converter required?

Is there any concern about the type of travel adapter kit? For instance, some instructions indicate they are for heat creating appliances (hairdryers, curling irons, etc.). I bought such a set, but do they present any issues if used with more delicate electronic circuitry (for iPads, iPods, or with camera battery chargers). I am leaving for the UK on Monday and need to get it right - are they too strong for the Apple products if they are not to be used with computers? What other options are out there?

  • Error while creating a task for creating an generic task  /app/dac/CustomSQ

    Hi ,
I have created a sql file in DAC server /app/dac/CustomSQLs/ ,just to fire an update sql in database
In DAC task tab i have created a task with the following:
    Command for incremental load :/app/dac/CustomSQLs/DBNameBeforeLoad.sql
    Primary source :flatfileconnection
    target source:DBCONNECTION_OLAP
    Execution type:SQL FILE
    Task phase:GENERAL
I created subject area and assembled ,then created a Execution plan.
When i try to execute this EP ,it shows the following error in DAC log:
ANOMALY INFO::: Error while creating a task for creating an generic task /app/dac/CustomSQLs/DBNameBeforeLoad.sql

    com.siebel.analytics.etl.etltask.GenericTaskImpl.init(GenericTaskImpl.java:194)
Does my above configuration is correct ..?

    verify the following settings:
    1. mapping of ECC plant and storage location and logical system number with the appropriate availability group code since this links the stock types in EWM to ECC org elements (SPRO -> EWM -> Interfaces -> ERP Integration -> Goods movement)
    2. ensure the availability group configuration is correct (SPRO -> EWM -> GR Process -> Configure availability group for putaway) - check all applicable nodes in this configuration since the availability group code is assigned in the pertinent storage types

  • HT4341 Using Apple's world Travel Kit, do I need a devise that transforms 220 volts to 120 volts?

If I use the Apple world trael adapter kit for Europe, do I need anything that changes 220 volts to 120 volts?

    Hey Babis Babinis,
Thanks for the question. Nope! As long as you are using the power adapter that accompanied your MacBook when purchased, you are good to go. Apple’s power adapters support line voltages from 100 to 240 V. In example, see page 3 of the manual for our latest line of MacBooks:
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1665/en_US/macbook_pro-retina-late- 2013_ipig.pdf
Additionally, this resource you came from provides some helpful information:
Because the devices listed above have auto-sensing and auto-switching power supplies, all you need to do is attach the correct AC plug adapter to the device to have it work correctly in other supported countries.

  • Unable to create Warehouse Task from Warehouse Request in EWM

    Hi All,
I have created Inbound Delivery in ERP system which created Inbound Delivery Notification in EWM and then converted to Inbound Delivery (Warehouse Request).
In Warehouse Request screen, using follow on functions --> Warehouse Task, I have been trying to create Warehouse Task but I am facing the below error.
There are no unpacked or packed warehouse request items for processing
    Message no. /SCWM/UI_TODLV002
    Diagnosis
For the transmitted search criteria, the system could not find any warehouse request items or handling units for which a warehouse task can be created.
The system can only find a warehouse request or handling unit if the following conditions are fulfilled:
The correct process was selected according to the document searched for:
    Putaway for inbound delivery
Stock removal for outbound delivery request
    Posting change for posting change
Stock transfer for internal stock transfer
The warehouse number entered matches the warehouse number in the warehouse request.
The warehouse process type is set in the warehouse request.
Movement control confirms that the delivery is relevant for picking.
No warehouse requests have yet been created for all of the requested quantity.
      System Response
The system does not propose any warehouse request items or handling units for processing.
The above settings already in place for me, but still I am facing the error,
Request your help in resolving this issue.

    Hi Juergen/Sandip,
We have material number and quantity in Warehouse Request.
But Warehouse Request has 'Locked" indicator and PPF actions tab at item details has no details and "Validations" tab shows
I have created "Packaging Specification" for this material but didn't pack. Do I need to pack it?
    Please suggest.

  • Using InfoPath form to create a task item in SharePoint 2013

    Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to use InfoPath to create a task with attachments in a SharePoint 2013 List B.
I have to query a SharePoint Document Library A to display documents on the InfoPath form.
The user should be able to select the documents using checkboxes that he wants to attach to the task created.
When he clicks on the "Create Task" button, a task is created with the attachments in a SharePoint list B.
Also, the documents that are attached are then deleted from the SharePoint Library A.
Will the above require programming and does it have to be done on the SharePoint 2013 Server?
    Thanks and regards,
    Poonam

    Hello,
I have already tried your solution, however in that case I get the error - "UncaughtSys.ArgumentNullException: Sys.ArgumentNullException:
Value cannot be null.Parameter name: context"...
    Also, I tried removing SP.SOD.executeFunc
from my code, but no success :(
    Kindly suggest !!!

  • Creating new task in inbox

    Hi,
In EP, under the inbox screen there's a 'Tasks' tab where we can create a new Task by clicking the 'Create Task' button.
My question is: Is there any FM or class/method that I can use to perform the same functionality to create that Task?. Thanks

    Thanks Again Mike.
Yes I agree with you. Payloads can vary in time and per task type. I configured flex fields in BPM Workspace -> Administration tab, then I mapped these flex fields in Human Tasks. When I create a custom view, It's only available to select the my custom payload field (flex field) when I select the Task type. In my case the payload field is an Person Id that is available since the start of first business activity til the end of the process. I think that if I really need to display this person id as a column, independent of task type, because this id I have all the time. I really need to build a custom worklist client as described in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm#BABIHDEF . Maybe this worklist sample (HelpDesk UI Sample) can make my development time smaller compared with total time to develop an entire worklist from scratch.

  • OIM Provisioning - Error during OID Create User Task

    Hi,
I am getting the following error during OIM Provisioning to OID (Create User Task).
I added few more attributes to the OID_USR form and then to the "OID User" Process Definition.
Also, I added the Code/Decode Key Values in AttrName.Prov.Map.OID.
    DEBUG,08 Dec 2010 21:19:04,547,[XELLERATE.SERVER],Class/Method: tcDataBase/readPartialStatement entered.
ERROR,08 Dec 2010 21:19:04,555,[XELLERATE.ADAPTERS],Class/Method: tcAdapterMappingUtility/getRunTimeVariable Mappings encounter some problems: No data available for variable having key = 350
ERROR,08 Dec 2010 21:19:04,555,[XELLERATE.ADAPTERS],Class/Method: tcAdapterMappingUtility/getRunTimeVariable Mappings encounter some problems: No data available for variable having key = 350
java.lang.Exception: No data available for variable having key = 350
Earlier, before adding these attributes, the OID Create User Task was working. So I belive this is from the newly added attributes.
    Questions:
    - How to identity the attribute with this key? It looks like some of the attribute values that it gets during Run Time is not populated correctly. Any suggestions?
    - "key = 350"- Is there a database table that this gets stored? SPD? or anything else?
    Regards
    Vijay Chinnasamy

    @Keviin,
I added 13 new attributes and corresponding "* Updated" Tasks.
For all these, ProcessInstanceKey is mapped to Process Data -> Process Instance.
I am going to validate the mappings again. Also, I noticed, some of the fields that I am prepopulating is not populated.

  • Do I need a different adapter (than what was provided in the World Traveler Kit)?

I just moved to the UK from US and purchased the World Travel Adapter kit. Though great for powering my phone, the USB adapter provided is not built for a laptop.
Can I use my old adapter with the new UK plug? The wattage is different on the adapters (old was 45W versus 10W). I have a MacBook Air and a MacBook Pro.

  • World Travel Adapter Kit

    Hi all,
Am thinking about getting the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit. I have checked the specs and the comments under the accessory details and can find a comment which answers this question but I am one for going by technical specs and I cannot find any. For my own reassurance, can an owner of said kit confirm it is a 2A charger and thus will  'fast' charge the New IPad (IPad 3). Thanks all. (ps I have a new iPad so know fast charge is ironic but lol I hope you know what Im trying to say, ie it's not a 1A charger-it's just I've heard it works with an iPod / iphone so think I need clarification.)

Alternatively, a third party plug adapter will work just as well. THe power brick is rated to accommodate the world wide voltage variances (100-240V) so all you really need is a plug adapter.
Not saying don't buy it, however 40+ for the world wide kit or $10 or less for a plug adapter (if you aren't really traveling the world, why buy plugs you'll never use?)

  • World Travel Adapter kit and India

I am going to India. I want to take my ipod and charge it while I am there. Does the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit have a plug that will work in India? I have the USB power adapter already.
    Thanks!

    Ketchupchips,
This article should give you comfort in finding what you need once you get there if what you have does not fit.
    http://www.channeltimes.com/India/News/AppleiPod_Mini_Now_Available_inIndia/551-17306-783.html
The adapter kit should be all you need. India uses two round pins just far enough apart to fit a small finger between them. You would not want to leave your finger in that position while plugging it in, though. : )
    This site gives the specs:
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/StoreReentry. wo?productLearnMore=M8794G%2FB
"The World Travel Adapter Kit includes a set of six AC plugs with prongs that fit different electrical outlets around the world. For world travelers, this is the perfect kit to ensure power connectivity in most countries you may travel to. The Kit is designed to work with (and requires) the white portable power adapter that ships with iBook, MacBook Pro, and PowerBook G4, and it also works with the iPod USB Power Adapter and iPod FireWire Power Adapter (available separately). The AC plugs included in the World Travel Adapter Kit directly support outlets in North America, Japan, China, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong.
Compatible with power adapters for iBook, MacBook Pro, PowerBook G4, iPod USB Power Adapter, and iPod FireWire Power Adapter."
While they do not specifically mention India in the list, India uses the British style plug.
The only unresolved question in my mind is if you have a 220 volt adapter or if the power adapter you have auto senses 220 volts and adapts. I presume it does but you will want to make sure for your specific product. This comment is typical of Apple power supplies:
"People mentioning anything about a convertor are misinformed. I am in Germany as I type this and the product works perfectly. 100-240V means you DO NOT NEED a convertor."
The person commenting does not specify which Apple product they are using in Germany so just look at your adapter/power supply and make sure it says 110/220 volts.
    Bon voyage,
    Ji˜m
A quick check here confirms my belief that your iPod should do fine with current up to 240 v.

  • Cheap alternative to Apple World Travel Adapter Kit?

The Lenmar World Travel Adapter Plug Set is only $8.64 on Amazon:
    http://www.amazon.com/Lenmar-AC5-World-Travel-Adapter/dp/B00013BL18/ref=wlit_dpo?ie=UTF8&coliid=IYUGMO3LZMVRI&colid=32VC09BIR8RXB
    Will this work?
    Thanks!

You will notice that the adapters shown in the illustration at the Amazon link are for two pronged plugs. They are also not designed for keyed plugs.
The Apple Charger for the iPad has 2 prong, un-keyed plug which is OK, the long cord version has a standard 3 prong plug which will require a adapter in front of the adapter.
Sets like the one you reference handle most countries, there are some odd-balls.
Sites like [*this one*|http://kropla.com/electric2.htm] have all the gory details by country.

  • HT1981 I will use my 110V MacBook in the Philippines which has 220V sockets. Will the World Travel Adapter Kit help me?

I will use my 110V MacBook in the Philippines which has 220V sockets. Will the World Travel Adapter Kit help me?

Assuming you're in North America now, you probably won't need any sort of plug adaptor there; most sockets in the Philippines are the same as those in North America. In case you do, it doesn't contain the correct adaptor.
Voltage conversion is handled by the MacBook without any additional components.

  • Using Apple World Travel Power Adapter with Airport Extreme

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if you can use Apples World Travel power adapters they sell for Powerbooks and ipods on an airport express. I'm looking to use it in Switzerland.
    Thanks

    1) use some sort of USB to Ethernet converter to plug the USB device into the AE
A "normal" USB-to-Ethernet adapter/converter merely makes the computer network capable. Useful if an Ethernet port is not provided originally. This is not what you want in this case. Instead, if you wish to connect an existing Wi-Fi base station (router), you should look for a special adapter (maybe something like this) with an Ethernet output and support for the very USB mobile broadband modem that you are using.
An alternative solution could be a dedicated mobile broadband router (with support for said USB modem), where you choose to or not choose to use its Wi-Fi capabilities.
