Functional difference between Blackberry and Internet Browser on the device

Hello:
Based on the following link, I understand the difference between the Blackberry and Internet browser (http://www.blackberryforums.com.au/forums/blackberry-general-discussion/2815-difference-between-brow...
I was wondering if there are any functional difference between the two, i.e. HTML rendering, images being broken, etc. Under Browser -> Options -> Browser Configuration, If I configure both the Blackberry and Internet browser the same way, will a particular URL behave the same?
I'm in the process of testing our mobile applications on different devices and would appreciate if you could provide the difference, if any between the 2 browsers.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
All BlackBerry smartphones will have Internet Browser for browsing the web.
However if you're on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, you get the BlackBerry Browser which enables you to access internal websites and secured websites.

What is World Wide Web or Internet and Internet Browser?

What is Internet and Internet Browser? I have been searching about this for a long time but all are so deep in knowledge ,simplicity does have no place!

World Wide Telescope and Parallels

Greetings,
I am using Windows XP SP3 with Parallels 3.0 build 5584. Recently Microsoft released the spring beta of the World Wide Telescope (http://www.worldwidetelescope.org/ExperienceIt/ExperienceIt.aspx?exp=true). This is a wonderful astronomy program, however it crashes within Parallels. To run it, I have to enable Direct X Shaders (experimental) under the video options.
It runs fine on Windows only machines. Anyone else experience this? Is there a way to fix this problem?
Anyone know if an OS X version of this will be released?

Synching Blackberry and Windows Live Mail

Hi.. I am new to the world of Blackberry and not very technically minded !
I would be very grateful for some help with the following please:
I use Windows Live Mail for all my email addresses. When I delete an email from Blackberry this does not delete in Live Mail. How can I set things up so that when I delete an email from Blackberry it deletes the email from Live Mail too?
I would like to keep calendar on my Blackberry that synchs with a calendar on my laptop.. so information is viewed the same on both Blackberry and laptop and updates both ways regardless of where the information is inputted.  Is this possible to do and how?

Reconciliation between your BB and your email server will be governed by this KB:

From what you are requesting, it indeed should be possible. Therefore, please also check this KB:
KB13509How to reconcile email messages between the messaging server and the BlackBerry smartphone
and ensure that you have configured everything correctly. Also be sure that you are waiting an appropriate time length...it has been witnessed for deletion reconciliation to take up to 8 hours at times (it varies quite a bit based on a number of factors).

For this, it is indeed possible, but again depending on circumstances. You can reconcile your BB to the following desktop calendar applications:
KB12268Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows for synchronization
Assuming you already have one of the compatible applications and it already has all of your data, then I suggest the following steps. It is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista/Win7, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
1) Download, to your PC, the RIM Desktop Software:
http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
2) Install the Desktop Software onto your PC
3) Start the organizer configuration:

World wide subscription

I signed up to a world wide subscription and had it for some time. My credit card expired and I have tried to get a new card on the system to renew subscription but am having trouble to register card. Also cannot see option for subscription as being offered now. It clearly stopped due to card ending not because I wanted it to. Please help me resolve this asap. The price seems to have gone up too?

On the Torch model yes, you can use the WiFi connected Hotspot browser for internet surfing and a few other applications, but very few BlackBerry data applications.

Blackberry Internet Plan

I have recently got a 6 month BB internet plan, this was 2 months ago and today it has just stopped working, I try sending text's and it says 'Network out of order' and also my Internet has been cut off; it is fine with Wifi but any solutions?

Contact your provider...consider, you paid them for 6 months of service, and today they cut you off at only 2. But it is they that you need to raise this with (assuming, of course, you haven't changed any settings or anything on your BB that is).

Hi, I would add to Susie, that depending on your Exchange version, as I guess you are at 2007 (as it support 2003x64), you can repair the IIS website easilly.

Do you use that IIS to deliver other website ? or only the OWA ? If only the OWA you can safelly repair it with the Exchange built-in commandshell.
If you tried in the past to remove the IIS, or such manipulation it break deeply Exchange, thus can lead to a buggy IIS. See that link if you tied some manupulation on the IIS (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320202/en-us)

I use my WiFi only iPad with a MIFI2200 hotspot from Verizon. There are many mobile hotspots on the market, but as stedman suggested, it would behoove you to check with any cellular carriers in your area to see what they have to offer.

I've been having the same problem since iCloud appeared and complicated an otherwise trouble-free system. Doubling frustrating is that iCloud duplicates my .Mac account so I get two of everything in my Inbox. I turned off iCloud and now mail at least goes out but I can't delete the duplicate account.
