Worse experience ever with Think-Pad T430

Hello,
I writing this message to inform you that I had the worse experience I ever have with any laptop ever.
I bought your product because as I heard it good quality and good services. But this was not the case at all.
I bough my machine on February this year and before end of first month the touch pad stopped working with no reason. I send it your dealer here in JOrdan and it was not very pleasant experience. Anyway they fix it but even that not working properly.
Then after the third month in one morning green line cross the screen from the top to the bottom, night before nothing, I open it then I saw it. I was out of the country so couldn't sending it directly to the maintenance.
Long story short, I'm sorry to say that but it is the worse experience I ever or my company have with laptop, and we will never redo this again and we never recommend them to anybody.

Hi abdulhalim,
Sounds like you might have got a defective T430. Since you laptop is still under warranty, I would try calling support and asking for a replacement T430.

Feedback for HP Sleekbook (Worst experience ever)

I bought a Hp Sleekbook 14 after lots of friend and relatives told me to go for hp so i did. Its hardly been two weeks and pin of my sleekbook adapter broke and when i call hp representative to replace as it is under accidental and damage warranty, they said we can't as charger is not covered under warranty, this was my first bad experience with hp, other companies replace charger also but hp doesn't. Second, when i went to hp service center, the workers talked so rashly that it frustrated me and they even didn't provide a solution.
I would never ever recommend hp especially hp sleekbook to anyone, and what sort of charger is hp making that it get easily broken up and not even providing a replacement or new adapter at lesser rates.
So this is my last request to hp if they can help somehow.

i too have had the worst experience ever with hp. i brought the new sleekbook at the beginning of this year a week after having it the screen turned black and stopped working luckily i was able to get a new computer under warranty, but then after 4 months of having it my charger broke, it too was not under warranty and i had to pay FULL PRICE, which i find to be absolutely ridicously especially when im a uni student and im living on my own with no help from parents, the hp service people were very un helpful and did not seem to care about my situation and my fustration with what had happened as my laptop is nessersary for assignments. they then went on to tell me that there was no chargers left in NZ for my particular laptop and had to order in which would take up to 2 weeks, but then they got my hopes up telling me they found a spare and i was able to purchase it the next day when my money came in because i did not have enough at the time as the charger was well over $100. i then rung up the next day to find out they do not hold, even after they ha promised me they did and had sold it to another person. after days of fustration and anger i got my charger. its now been two months since i purchased a new charger and the new one has broken again. i DO NOT want to pay full price for another charger which is bound to break again and i sure as hell do not want to go through the stress of the poor service i recieved. i would never suggest to anyone to buy hp.

Lenovo think pad S230u Black screen with mouse pointer after log in

Hello I dont know if i am on the right board for this but this is the first time i am posting on here. I have a Lenovo think pad S230u. Recently it will load up to the screen where you put in your password and let you put it in your password but then just loads to a all black screen with just a mouse pointer on it thats it. I read on line that some other thinkpads had this issue with a display driver but i couldnt find anything on the one i have. The one i have is running windows 8. Any help is greatly appericated.

As per the query we understood that you are facing an issue with No Boot to Windows 8 on your ThinkPad S230u.
Please check if the system is able to boot to ‘safe mode’.
Please click here to know the procedure on how to boot the system into ‘safe mode’.
Perform clean boot in safe mode and restart the system to check.

Verizon service absolute worse experience

Verizon service is the absolute worse experience I have ever had. I had an appointment. The window was from 8 to 5pm and no body showed up. When I call an hour wait in the phone to get anyone. Nobody has an explanation why. Now I am told no body can come out to repair my internet for several days because the next appointment is not until Friday . One person tells me the window is again 8 to 5 pm. Calling again I am td the appointment is at 6:55pm. Nobody there knows what's going on. . The only answer is find another service .

Unable to install Rescue & Recovery on X201 Think Pad

I have just bought a pre-owned Think Pad X201-3680-FZ2 laptop with Windows 7 professional, and for my own peace of mind wanted to restore it to factory settings before I start using it.
There are no recovery disks so I have downloaded the Rescue & Recovery 4.52 Setup but when I run the programme it gets to a certain point and then I receive the error message Error 25014. There was an error installing the Rescue and Recovery boot manager. Return code: 6
I have searched for a solution to this problem online, and see that I am not alone, but the responses I find either do not seem to apply to me as the other programmes mentioned are not installed, or I do not understand them.
I am not a computer expert, just a domestic / home office user, so need a solution in very easy to understand terms. The Think Pad I have came with no instruction manuals, and as far as I can see, all the programmes installed relate to the operation of the Think Pad itself. There does not seem to be Rescue & Recovery already installed on the ThinkPad.
Does anyone have a solution to this which they could explain to me in simple terms, please?

What are the partitions labels?
According to the information you've provided:
1. you have fresh installed OS in OEM reduction, it's activated from the BIOS, it's not a Lenovo preloaded image
2. two recovery partitions (recovery workspace and partition for the stored image) were removed during the new OS installation.
Also, needed bootloader was removed so you are facing error regarding R&R installation. Perhaps OS was installed w/o complete drive cleaning.
Are there any archives on the drive? Try to find files with .wim extension (like sdrivebackup.wim and cdrivebackup.wim). It's the only chance previous owner saved preloaded image.
Nevertheless, don't worry, no problem to perform fresh installation

Worst experience ever.

Having recently moved from Florida to SC, I decided to go with Comcast at my temporary address rather than my very reliable Dish Network. I've been on the phone with them at least 10 times. They shipped my modem to my new address and I self installed; that went ok. After selling me a TV package, they were supposed to ship out my boxes next day air. I didn't get the boxes for 3 days. When the boxes arrived, to my astonishment, they were coaxial cable boxes and not HDMI!!! Who in their right mind still has bubble TV's... in this day and age! After complaining to customer service I was told they would send out the right boxes 3 to 5 day shipping. So, I decided to try and hook up one of the boxes temporarily and at least have blurry TV for a week. Well, the first box was defective and didn't work. I didn't even attempt the second box. I put everything back in the box and took to the UPS Store. This has been the most unfriendly experience ever dealing with a cable or internet provider. They don't even communicate via email with me, as a customer. I've never received one single email from them saying equipment has been shipped, or welcome to comcast, nothing. Besides, their internet subscription rates are outrages. I have to spend close to $60/mo for speeds just above dial-up speeds. I tried to stream a show the other night (because I can't watch it on TV) and a half hour show took 2 hours. Also....... As a cable customer, you would think I can go to Comcast.com or the app and watch a show online???? Nope, they won't even let you do that until you activate the box they sent me that didn't work. Can't wait to get back to Dish. I have a customer loyalty price of $35/mo with 140 channels.

Impossible to launch Flash CC 2014 - and worst CC experience ever

Let me explain the process here :
I launched Flash CC (not 2014), which I haven't launched since a long time. Then I opened a new AS3 document. And tried to use the brush tool. I selected a brush size. And then it crashed. Yes only that...
Adobe displays a message after crashing saying that they have a solution for this problem of crashing. Cool I think ! I click on the link, but arrive on the new creative cloud 2014 apps.A bit disappointing, but I think that the problem is resolved with Flash CC 2014.
So I download Flash CC 2014. And launch it. And it crashes.... Ok maybe it is a bad install. I restart the computer.
But then Creative Cloud asks to install the new CC Desktop app. F***. It begins to be a bit long to just use Flash !!... (Ok, I can use Flash at this point, but I need to synchronize my files, so I need CC desktop app. Anyway, I don't understand why I should download the latest version as the version I use works great : synchs my file, install fonts, and install softwares, which is the basics I need from Creative Cloud)
Ok I start to reinstall CC Desktop. But it fails !!! Yes F******** !! Error 43. "contact the consumer service". Ok I click. And I arrive on the Creative Cloud Help. BUT WHERE IS THE MESSAGE FIELD I NEED TO SPEAK TO ADOBE ???? OR THE TEL NUMBER OR WHATEVER ??? Where is the consumer service ??? Nothing ! I have to search inside all these forum links and help and find the good link to contact Adobe. WHAT A MESS ! But Adobe is not available. We are friday. I have to wait until monday. But I CAN'T !!!
Yes. Let's calm down a bit. I uninstall CC app. Restart. Redownload CC desktop app. Ok, but where is it on the Adobe website ?????? There are all apps visible everywhere (photoshop, illustrator...) but NO CC desktop APP !! I end up finding it somewhere (i don't remember where), and reinstall it. IT WOOORKS !! youhou. I notice that this new version doesn't do much more than the previous one : synchs files, install fonts, and install softwares. Oh, ok, I can go to the marketplace ! Ok but but but but.... CC app redownloads ALL my creative cloud files (3 GO) although my folder is already there in my computer, all at the latest updates !! Nevermind... I'll wait. It is already 1 hour I'm fighting with Adobe. So I can go on wasting my time with PLEASURE !!
Ok. Pfiou. Maybe Flash is working now ? Why ? Why not ? But no... Still not working... But there is a message from adobe saying they have a solution for this specific bug. Ok I click on the link. I arrive on "adobe.com". What a joke it is...
So I need a solution, please. How can I do to make Flash CC and Flash CC 2014 work on my MacbookPro 2010, with Mavericks 10.9.3 ?

And please resolve my problem with Flash CC 2014, which is the first aim of this post. It seems like there are a lot of cool features I don't need but would be pleased to test. The best would be to be able to open the software of course...

Ibm Think Pad T30 Beeping error

So i have problem with my ibm think pad T30 i turn it on and this happensVVV
One short beep, pause, three short beeps, pause, three more short beeps, and one short beep.
now based on what ive searched online it says it might be problem either with the

I have heen having the same problem with my T40. I put the expansion memory in the orignal slot under the keyboard and it starts up like a dream.
Before I would have to start it up a few times before it would not beep and go to BIOS and then start for real.

I do not know if you have an expansion memory (slot is on the back of computer, first one listed on the page of how to get to it), but I pulled that one out and put it in my orignal slot since I am pretty sure the expansion one is newer.
Now, I do not know if I should try to put the old one in the expansion slot or what.

Adobe forms issue with signature pads

I am new to and just joined this forum as I never had to until this point. I am having some strange issue with adobe forms and using signature pad.
I have a form built using adobe X. I am using Topaz signature pad to have a digital signature in my form. My application (which was built on Progress 4GL) opens up this form using rich text editor. Most of my clients remote login to use the application. Every now and then my clients complain that whenever they click on the signature field on the form to open up the signature pad window, it kicks them out of the whole application. This happens so randomly that they can't predict when it occurs. I logged each and every lines on my code to see if there's any issue with the codes but they all execute fine. And I can't log after the form is open as adobe takes the control and they handle the communication with signaute pad. So far I have checked if there's any memory leakage that would kick me out and it's fine. And I think there's no driver issue as this happens randomly. A client who gets kicked out 1st time if tries the 2nd or 3 rd time following the same steps and same form, can successfully gets the job done.
Have any of you had faced similar issue. If you have any solutions or ideas that would be a great help to me.

Updates: Just found out that this issue rises only to the clients using Wyse terminals. Has anyone had any issue using Adobe forms and Wyse terminals?

How come I can't connect to my wifi on my iPad? My other think pads are connecting. I reset all my settings and nothing. We have a jet pack and I can connect to that?

Try rebooting the router. Whether or not it is working with other devices does not matter.

Just Updated to Firefox 26.0...Hanging Worse Than Ever.

I just updated to FireFox 26.0 a few hours ago, and now when I visit a site like Wonkette.com, the browser hangs are worse than ever before...and they were bad before. My browser is hanging (becomes completely unresponsive) minutes at a time before it either loads the page, or tries to load it and I get a script error (which takes more minutes to pop up while the browser's unresponsive) before it loads.
God help you if you go anywhere with an IntenseDatabase commenting system or any kind of embedded video player. I have on no add-ons or plug-ins, so it is not that (and they are all up-to-date, anyway, but that's irrelevant).
No, this is not something solved by going into Safe Mode - the seeming catch-all cure that never works, either - so don't even offer that up as a solution. Thanks.

Depending on what sites you are trying to access, you might find that some of them (probably more so if they are news sites) have their own apps in the App Store which might let you get some of the content that you want (and there is the built-in YouTube app). Also there are browsers such as Skyfire which 'work' on some sites - but judging by the reviews not all sites. If you want to play flash games then you are probably out of luck if you want to play on-line though the iSwifter app might work on some of them, but again some flash games have app versions in the store.

Vista 32bit on my think pad

Hello everyone, I just boight a T61 think pad with 4gb of memory everythink is perfect,
I have a Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit OEM delivred with my laptop, I wanted to know if there is any chance that lenovo changes it for 64 bit OS, if it is possible who should I contact?
I tried to look for this service with Microsoft, but they offer it only for retail buyers

Audio: Realtek or Cirrus. WE have to manually find, download and install latest driver.
RealTek is usually easy and their Vista/7 32-bit will install or there is a zipped driver and use Device Manager after unzip to "update driver."
Same for GPU drivers too.
So we are on our own,the base drivers enable the device chip but that is all.
The list of unsupported usually means 64-bit will be more difficult and extra steps is all.
