Worst phone ever! Is there any way to love it?
I am so frustrated with this phone. I am a tech savy person but alas this phone is a piece of junk. I hate the number of screens you have to into just to send a text. The keyboard is worthless and most of the time comes up with something totally different than what I was typing. The phone - can't tell half time who called - press slight brush a name to get details and it calls out, screen dims and then have to go into several screens just to end the calls. Hard to read the screen in the sunlight. So, is there anyone out there who really likes this piece of crap?
love it! i now have a new phone, but i still use my incredible via wifi at home and in the hot tub (don't want to drop the new phone....lol). if you don't care for the stock messaging app, then you may want to try handcent or one of the other texting apps. if you're touching the contacts from the phone's dialer, then yes....it will call them. you need to open "people" if you want to view details of the contacts. there are also other keyboards you can download if you want to try those instead of the stock keyboard. when i pull mine away from my ear, the screen comes back on to the dialer, with the "end call" button. if you're tech savy, then you can set this phone up to nearly perfectly match how and what you want. short cuts to direct dials, widgets, bookmarks, etc, etc. i thought it was a near perfect phone when it was launched a year ago.

My iPhone says that my charger is not supported, but it's the charger that came with my phone. Is there any way I can solve this issue?
Try cleaning out the phone's port, of pocket fluff and such. Carefully. And check the mains adapter similarly, but less likely.

Iphoto quit suddenly and deleted todays photos from the MacBook and the phone. Is there any way to retrieve these precious photos? are they on my sd card in the phone?
If they are in an iPod backup, then restore another iPod, iPhone or iPad from that backup

After syncing my iphone I found that all of my notes were erased from the phone. Is there any way to retrieve the notes now that they have been erased? I had some very important notes that I have to be able to find. Anyone know how?
I think those contacts still in iphone database. So you can back up you iphone with itunes to get iphone database off your iphone. Then access the SQLite batabse.

All data included with the backup is stored in a SQLite database format with the data within various folders not easily accessible. There are some 3rd party utilities that provide for extracting select data from an iPhone's backup and iphone database such as this one.

My Android phone has Firefox installed, and is connected to Sync. Somehow, I lost all of my Firefox data (I think I know how this happened, and I'm going to address that problem with my computer next). Is there any way to pull the sync key off of my phone, since in a house-keeping frenzy I apparently deleted the sync key from my computer?
No, there is not.

I'm a complete beginner in iMovie. I was at an event and forget my camera and only had my iPhone to record an important event, so I used it, but now that I'm trying to upload it, iMovie is stretching the visual width (I guess the way it cropped it?). Is there any way I can fix this or at least make it a little better? Help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I have had my iphone 5 stolen/have lost my iphone 5. I haven't backed it up for a while (2 months?!) and I am not sure that I actually set up Photostream however it's always been on there from what I can tell (icon is there). Is there anyway of getting back contacts/messages/photos/anything from the phone onto my new replacement phone if it hadn't been backed up recently? I've got everything up until the last backup - contacts and messages aren't such an issue for me but the photos mean a lot!!!
If you are logged in to icloud with your same Apple ID. Go to setting on your phone>Photos & Camera and turn ON my Photo Stream.

I lost my phone. Is there any way I can get my pictures?
Someone stole my phone which had all my pictures. I was wondering if there was anyway I could retrieve my pictures or if they are gone forever?
If you had 1) iCloud turned on and backed up, or 2) recent backup from iTunes... then it is possible.
Go to www.iCloud.com & try to log in with your Apple ID. You'll find out quick enough if your data is there. As for Pics, iCloud photostream only keeps 30 days worth of pictures. You'll need iCloud control Panel (for PC or Mac) to sync the photostream pictures to your computer.
That said, if you had your camera roll backed up in iCloud, you will be able to restore a new iPhone with your previous iPhone's iCloud backup. (or if you were still syncing all this stuff with iTunes you can restore from that as well).
Good luck. -

Help!!!
No, not unless you have a more current iCloud ID that was created by revising this old ID. If you do, you can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, then delete the account. When you're done, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.
If that isn't the case, and you don't know the password for the old ID, you'll have to reset it yourself (see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617) or contact the Apple account security team for assistance resetting it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699. -
HELP!! my babysitter synced her iphone 4s with my computer and i didnt notice she deleted all my contacts when she did this. so when i synced mine it deleted all the contacts on my phone! is there any way to restore from before the sync? HELP!!!
if you see the option to restore in itunes, click it. Your phone will give you the option to restore as new, or restore from backup.

The above article walks you through it, and has pictures. As for your contacts, if you had them saved to Outlook (windows contacts?) you can follow this other article for getting them back. I know it says ipod, but it will work the same.

The phone is physically intact, but you can see the LCD is cracked behond the glass. I have tried plugging it in, tried putting it on the charger, and resetting it using the off and home buttons, bit response. I don't need the phone to work, but I do need to be bale to back it up in order to restore to the new phone. Is there any way to extract the data or back up the hard drive without repairing the phone? Just curious what my options are before I spend cash trying to fix the phone and find out there was another way to get the data. Any thoughts here or should a good repair shop being able to create a backup somehow?
Im not going to be much help because I don't know of anything else to besides take it somewhere that fixes electronics and see if they can get it off some how maybe if you take it to an apple store they can do something to get your information.

My friend asked me if I could activate his iPhone with my sim card. So we put it in his phone, and it activated. My sim card is back on my phone. Is there any way that stuff from my phone could appear on his phone? Like, maybe even iMessage texts? If so, is there a way to fix this?
