Would BT accept the service we get?

Internet died at about 11pm on 02/10. Running troubleshooting via Hub Manager the following morning reported a DSL issue. Checked the phone line and got a lot of white noise and then nothing - line is now completely dead. Rang the 03301234151 number via mobile and was placed in queue (bemused to be repeatedly advised to use the BT website if I didn't want to queue - difficult with no service!). Finally got through to India, ran through a number of checks (including accessing the test socket) before being told that a fault would be raised but wouldn't be acknowlwdged in the fault queue in the UK until Monday, but that the aim was to have the fault fixed by 23:59 on Thursday 07/10.
I explained that I work from home and my phone line/broadband is/are essential to carry out my work. The matter would be 'expedited' but with no change to the estimated repair deadline. The online fault tracking seems a bit hit-and-miss to say the least as 'Track a Phone Line Fault' more often than not gives a new window telling me I can't use this for Broadband Talk faults (????).
Anyway, my main gripe here is that my work entails remote IT support - my clients would not be impressed if one of their systems was down and my response was a vague 'I hope to have it fixed by midnight in 5 days time'. Is this the service BT themselves expect if they have problems? And if not, why should paying customers be expected to settle for anything less?

If your line is classed as a business line, it would get a higher priority repair than a residential line.

    From your post it appears that you might've accidentally enabled VoiceOver on your iPhone, which would be requiring you to double tap each number.  To easily turn off VoiceOver, please do the following:
    Press the home button three times quickly
    Use Accessibility features in iOS - Apple Support

    The PO is always account assigned for service PO.
    Hence when you accept service entery sheet the system do GR for account assigned PO i.e.
    Debit - KBX for account assignment
    Credit _ WRX GR/IR account
    You can check it in OMJJ under update control from left pan for movement type 101 and GR for account assigned

    I just tried redeeming my software online. I went through the whole process, got the password, and proceeded to get the software to download. But soon after, the wifi connection was disconnected, and when I tried to connect the ethernet cable, the entire software had disappeared from my launchpad. When I tried to restart the download, it kept saying that the password had already been used before, and that it could only be used once per computer. What do I do now?

    You shouldn't have to re-enter the code, Lion should be on your purchases list so you can re-download it.  In the App Store, click Purchases...  do you see ML there?

    You can submit anything you want. If you just rip off somebody else's idea, prepare for rejection. If you want to do it better, then that is a different story.

    I linked through and submitted my info as a "topic not covered" in the iCloud section. After entering the serial number of my MBP it turns out I wasn't eligible for technical support (though I don't think this is hardware related support) and the final suggestion was to take my computer into an Apple store. I called my local Apple reseller and asked for assistance. The customer service rep was very nice but unable to help, so suggested I call Apple Support on 1300 321 456. I did so and, again, spoke to two very polite and helpful customer service people (I was transferred to security services). I didn't have to be on hold to speak to either rep for more than a few seconds! After trying a few different things, he worked out what was happening...
    So, to cut a long story short, to solve the problem in my OP, all I had to do was log out of iCloud in my System Preferences and log back in using my current Apple ID. [Edited to add that I had to sign out of everything I was currently signed in to with my Apple ID before logging out and in again.]

  • My 4s will not open in settings and previously it would not accept my password even when I was resetting it on my computer with the iPhone in front of me. How do I fix This?

    My Icloud locked up a week ago and first it kept telling me my password was incorrect so I reset it on my phone and then my laptop top but the phone 4s would never accept the password.  Now in settings, I click on icloud and the settings will not even open up.

    You might try the obvious, although I have seen memory sticks fail.  Good luck.
    1)Remove the memory stick
    2) Shut the computer down
    3) Restart the computer
    4) Login
    5) Re-insert the memory stick

  • Accept a Service Entry Sheet

    I am having a problem when accepting a service entry sheet, after saving the entry sheet, the system will create a GR document number but the problem is if the service entry sheet was created previously e.g. three days ago when accepting , the GR document number will have a posting date as from three days ago matching the posting date from the service entry sheet. Is there a way of making the posting date for GR document to be the current date when accepting the service.Your help will be appreciated

    For the SES, the creation date would still be same. Only field ESSR-BUDAT (posting date) would get changed.
    That shouldn't be a problem, since you would know anyway when the SES was created from ESSR-ERDAT, the SES creation date.
    Also the last change date would also be correctly updated.
    You have another field Doc Date ESSR-BLDAT which records the date the SES was posted.

    Hi,
    We have requirement like whenever the service entry sheet create automatically through CATM it should get service acceptance automatically

    I think this is not possible through std SAP but you can use the user exit SRVESSR
    to accept the service in background once it is generated through CATM.

  • Why is the service SO bad?

    I have been a Verizon Customer for over 10 years, and lately the services are getting so bad that I most likely will be going to another carrier at the end of my contract.
    1)     Over the past 2 years, I have noticed more and more dead areas, where I cannot get a signal.  And I'm not talking about out in the country, but places like New York City, Bridgeport CT, Hartford CT, New Haven, CT.  Last trip I made to JFK, as soon as I was a mile away from JFK, headed back to CT - my phone couldn't get any data signal to let the navigation function until I was already passing through Stamford CT.  Yesterday I was driving towards downtown Bridgeport CT and just south of the Trumbull Mall on Main St, and the phone lost all connectivity - data and voice could not connect!  I have recently been offered a company phone, and once I get it will check it, when my Verizon phones says it cannot connect.
    2) My wife and I have been repeatedly having issues with our phones not getting text messages and voicemails for up to 3 weeks (not the same phones, so far; 2 flip phones, 2 iPhones 4s, an iPhone 5 and a Droid Maxx) more and more over the past 2 years.  This issue happens when messages are sent from/to people using Verizon and other carriers, and between our own 2 lines, going to each other.
    When I complain at the stores, I get **.  They can never come up with any solutions or answers.
    And just icing on top, when will we ever be able to upgrade to Lollipop????  My Droid Maxx has been on the list since the day it was released, but Verizon doesn't do anything.

    Publish Service is nothing but making WSDL of that service available. For that you need to Publish the WSDL of the web Service to UDDI. For Non SAP system, Lik .net , Java they have there oun APIs to do so. U can search on net to get it.

                         My client is havin an authorisation issue, he wants to accept the service entery sheet been created by his sub ordinates, and he is not able to do the same, i checked the authorisation, he has all, but there is 1 thing that came up in discussion with other consultants that if he he needs to approve SES then he need to have authorisation for PO also.

    As the SES generates  a GR automatically , the person approving the SES should have the authorization for creating a GR also .
    So give the authorization for MIGO 101 .
