Would I get a replacement???

Hello, thankyou for reading this I really need an answer. My current iPhone 4s that I have had for 9 months on a telstra plan has been playing up. The home button does not work, my speakers do not work only can hear music through my headphones, keyboard has been freezing and not working properly. Over heating every 10 minutes even though its not hot and not even on charge. Im going to take it into apple in a few days, will I get a replacement? I really need one as I use it for personal reasons and I cant put it into getting fixed for a week or two. If I do, will I have to pay? Could I get an iphone 5 and pay the difference? Please answer.

If it is a hardware problem you will get a service replacement. It will be that same model/size/color as the one you currently have. If there is no accidental damage to the phone there will be no charge and they will do it while you wait but make a Genius Bar appointment before you go.

    I have been working with and building PC's for about 20 years and have just started working on this iMac. I know the extent of getting into the case and I have to open it up to replace the hard drive anyway because it is also junk.

    I would act soon if it really bothers you.  Your unconditional return/exchange period is 14 days from receipt.  After that, it would be a warranty issue, and if determined to be purely cosmetic, might not get any action at all.  And if determined worthy of replacement, the normal thing for a warranty replacement is a factory refurbished unit, not a brand new one.
    If within your 14 days, you could just take it in to an Apple store and swap it for a new one (there is no longer any restocking fees if returning or exchanging within that 14 day window).

  • Where can I get a replacement USB port for the Xperia Tablet Z1

    Where would I get a replacement USB port component for my Tablet Z - I am OK replacing it myself as I've already stripped the unit down and replaced a broken screen. I looked at the existing part and it doesn't look repairable - looks like the connector "tongue" has come away from the circuit board.
    Google hasn't thrown up any good leads. Do Sony sell these parts?

  • Would it cost money to get a replacement of an Iphone 4s

    I have a problem with my iPhone 4S.
    not long ago, my iPhone has been fine to use, i take care of my iPhone really well
    but recently, it has been having trouble having to play sounds, e.g the volume adjustment bar has disappeared once in a while and comes back but not long after, it disappears again.
    as for my charger plug-in, it does not seem like it can connect, ive tried moving the cord around to see if connection can be made, but failed.
    I'm having a lot of trouble with my iPhone, if I can, it would be greatly appreciated if I could get it replaced,
    I'm short on money atm, and I am in need for a phone for business enquiries.
    if it is possible for me to be able to replace it, that would be excellent.

    If it is defective and under warranty, then Apple will replace.  If not, then they will not.

    Recently I have noticed that my green iPhone 5c makes a creaking noise when I press in the bottom left hand corner, or sometimes when I press the home button.     None of us users here can tell you what Apple will do.  Apple will examine your phone and if a hardware defect is determined, your phone will be replaced free under warranty.

    Apple will not let you change the color, they do everything based off Serial numbers and modle numbers, if theres a mistake in there then it would cause a lot of issues on their side for tech support, and apple doesnt sell refurb iphones as well, your best method is to just replace the phone with apple because you also get another 90 on the hardware warranty

    So I somehow dented my DVD drive for my macbook pro but I tried putting a disc if it would work (stupid idea) It went in but it now wont come out.     Take it to Apple for evaluation and find out what they have to say.
    No one here can say for certain what will happen as we are all users like yourself.
    Expect to have to pay for a replacement though as the device has obvious physical damage.

    No. Once you or any other unauthorized person opens/disassembles the iPhone, Apple will no longer touch it.

    Hey there guys!
    This is my first time ever posting on apple, so excuse me if I'm in the wrong section.
    Recently (end of November 2012) I began a plan with Telstra (I'm in Australia) for my iPhone 5. While I was on holidays in December, I accidently dropped my phone off a balcony ledge (3 stories high) but it landed on soft grass. Anyways, needless to say, the phone actually still works fine lol, but a few things don't. When I'm in a phone call, the screen goes completely black, I can still talk and hear competely fine but the screen just goes black, and returns to normal after the call is over. (Doesn't do this for facetime calls, just normal calls). Secondly, the home button doesn't work at all, unless I mash the button down hard (it makes the screen change colour, going flimsy etc) so I obviously don't use it, I put on the accessabilty assistivetouch button. Lastly, the actual phone itself is bent :/ if I lay the phone flat on a bench, half way up the phone around the volume buttons, it actually bows upwards a little.
    As of now, I can still use the phone perfectly, but the home button thing is beginning to get on my nerves. If I take the iPhone to an Apple shop, is there anything I can do to get it replaced?
    Obviously it was my own fault for dorpping it so I'm willing to accept that (and the charges that come with it? ) but I more so just want to know if it is possible, and if it is, how does the proccess in getting it replaced work?
