I bought my iphone on oct. 22 2012 so i would still have warranty for another couple days correct?
If it was purchased new, for an authorized re-seller, then Apple will honor the 1 year warranty. You may need to provide tehm with proof of purchase though.

If your phone was damaged by you or in accidental damage, then you would be liable to pay for the repairs. Apple does not offer "loaner" phones, but if you have a credit card, they will "advance ship" a replacement to you so you can get it, then return your damaged one to them and as long as they get it back within a resonable time and it is warranty covered damage, they do not charge you for the replacement iPhone, but they do charge you a fee for the advanced replacement option (about $40-80 USD IIRC).
You can eliminate all the at by making an appointment at a local AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) and they should be able to check your iPhone on the spot. It it is covered under the warranty, they shoud replace it for free right there, and if not, they would let you know and you have the choice to make the repairs or not. -
Recently my iPod touch 4th gen. was stolen. I have had it for two years, so I don't have a warranty on it anymore. I reported it to the police, but what will apple do? This one kid reported to them that his was stolen and they gave him a new one. Will they do the same for me? Is there any other way I can get all my pictures from my iPod without iCloud set up? you still have the option (before your warranty expires) of purchasing an AppleCare Protection Plan, which will provide an additional two years of coverage. Once your warranty expires, you will no longer have the option of purchasing AppleCare. -

My old emails address which I have used as my apple id for 10 years is being made redundant. I have changed the email address to a new gmail one and this is my new apple id. But my iMac has not recognised this. It keeps saying it wants the password for my old email address. I have seen some advice on these forums which suggest signing out of iCloud and then back in again. But when I start doing this it asks me if i want all the photos deleted that have not been downloaded onto the mac.
I have had an iCloud account for quite sometime and I'm afraid of losing everything in my cloud if i sign out and sign in with a new id.
Is this fear realistic?
I know I can change back to my old email, sign out and then sign in wight he new one...
Please help!This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

Why I still have to pay for iWork on my new MacBook Pro ?

I cannot send mail from Firefox. Can receive E-mail but cannot send it. This worked OK until today. I have had firefox for many years. Just reinstalled Mozilla and still cannot send E-mail from firefox.

Are you also accessing an email account and SMTP server provided by SBCGlobal.net with either email client and if so, are you able to send messages with this account and SMTP server when connected to the internet via SBCGlobal.net at home?
And let me get this straight - both email clients work fine without any problems sending messages with your Office email account and SMTP server when connected to the internet at a friend's house that uses another ISP besides SBCGlobal.net but this is an Apple problem?
If an Apple problem, then you'd have problems sending messages with this account and SMTP server regardless whose network and ISP you are connected to.
Regardless what this more than likely under-trained or just unaware person at SBCGlobal.net told you, all ISPs have restrictions on using an SMTP server that is outside of their network or that isn't provided by the ISP used for connecting to the internet.
Some ISPs allow the use of an authenticated server only that is outside of their network but some block its use regardless.
Within the last year or so, SBCGlobal.net made a drastic change in regards to such restrictions and conveniently neglected to inform their customers beforehand. Those using an SMTP server that was outside of SBCGlobal.net's network regardless if the SMTP server was authenticated were required to "opt out" of Port 25 blocking with SBCGlobal.net in order to use an SMTP server that was outside of their network which was working fine before this change was made.

I have apple care for my iPhone 5. My screen smashed. I was wondering how much it will cost me for them to fix it or replace it. Or is it covered under applecare
AppleCare Protection Plan does not cover physical damage and you will have to pay for an out of warranty replacement.
AppleCare+ also does not cover physical damage but does give you 2 incidents to use for a situation such as this which provides a further discount to a normal out of warranty replacement fee.
