Would it be possible to have Alchemy compile Linux / DSL in a SWF ???

I'm really excited to hear about Alchemy, a lot of power for
Flash and SWF format... my first proyect will be to create a
bootable USB kind of ESX OS based on Linux to be able to start
multiple virtual machines from Virtual Box. I wonder if would it be
possible to think compile or create a minimal Unix / BSD / Linux
like in a SWF to be able to actually take commands from the command
line....
Perhaps if all the OS will be to much maybe just a thin ssh
client to let me connect to another boxes... really like to hear
your ideas regarding the subject, if somebody is interested on the
project please mail me off the list.

Congrats on LR6. I see a very nice speed improvement when working with my 36MP D800 files, especially when zooming in/out 100%. I still experience some hickups (controls sometime feel like they hang for half a second), but overall I enjoy the direction the speed upgrade is going. I look forward to the next updates.

Unless I am not looking correctly (and if so, please enlight me!), I can't seem to figure out how I can manage my Presets. At the moment, I have a bunch of folders containing presets. I would like to have the ability to move Preset Folders within Folders. I mean, how hard can this be to implement??
Users who have the VSCO presets will know what I mean. You have tons of folders containing presets. How about putting them all within one VSCO main folder?
Also, how about having the ability to search your presets? A simple search field at the top of the presets would do the trick.

I was wondering, now that I discovered the advantages of Resource Manger, if it would be possible to have 2 shared resources, one local with common topics and pictures for several projects, and another one, remote, containing the whole projects, i.e. topics and pictures, for collaboration purposes.
The local one I intend to use it for my purposes to have common items (topics & pictures) updated in all projects where they appear, and the remote one I intend to use it together with my remote colleagues that might want to do changes in the topics.
This would mean that the common topics and pictures would be present in both resources, the local one as well as the remote one.

I was merely wondering if it would be possible w/o having to use other products outside RoboHelp.
We are already using svn for a lot of other purposes and we are using that for the RoboHelp projects as well, however I was wondering if it would not be possible to have RoboHelp take care of the RoboHelp projects, and with svn to take care of the other things in the company.
Eventually, if it would be possible, I would think to sync all the local projects with the remote projects, then sync the local project with the local shared resources, and at the end sync the rest of the projects with the local shared resources.

Would it be possible to have browsing options on the bottom of the screen like the iPhone and iPod? You always have to stretch when going back to a page.

This is just a suggestion. How would we make suggestions to apple on things like this. It would be soooo convenient to have as an option.

I just implemented this with one of my applications.
I wrote a class which extends JWindow and adds a JLabel icon to the contentPane.
The class containing the main method instantiates this class, makes the window visible, wait's some time and deletes the window:

As you will know, BT Infinity Unlimited broadband has a 100GB threshold, which when met will then throttle your speed to about 1Mb download which renders your internet all but useless except for the most basic tasks.
I use around 150GB in down/upload each month due to watching movies online and live webcam sites like Justin.tv etc.
What I want to know is, would it be possible to have 2 telephone lines at the same address with 2 lots of BT Infinity Unlimited broadband, thus giving me 100GB limit on each and 200GB in total. I could use one line until nearing 100GB useage on one line, then switching to the other line for the rest.
Is this possible and do BT allow it?

I have been playing with the idea of having an audio track play throughout our digital publication on the iPad. I have it working now within a single article but it stops once you go to a new article. Would it be possible to have it continue playing while the user navigates through the other articles?

You can run multiple versions of Office, yes:

However, I don't believe you can run multiple editions of the same Office version. Perhaps somebody else will be able to shed some light on this? It sounds unlikely though.

The FireWire cable is just for the FireWire ports on the display. The display will run without it.

If you'll be using the 2010 iMac as the display, a Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort cable.
It's not possible to use the 2011 iMac as the display through Target Display mode in that configuration.

An automated second page.

There are two approaches.
If you wish to use AcroForm technology, then you would need to write a bunch of JavaScript to enable this. It has been done, but it’s not trivial.
If you wish to use XFA technology, then it can be setup to happen automatically.
Be aware that in both cases, even though both technologies are part of the PDF standard, that the forms will only be usable in this manner in Adobe’s viewers as many others don’t support JavaScript or XFA.

1. On your computer, yes. Use Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, VirtualBox, or similar software.
