Would like to add some text

I wold like to add about 3 lines of text at the bottom of my clip in a couple of places and i have had no luck at all. i will take any help i can on how to do this as i have tried the manuels way and with no luke. the text overrides the clip and the clip disapears. imovie was simple compared to this.

When you get your text arranged in the Viewer the way you want, drag the text from the Viewer to the Superimpose window in the Canvas.
If the main video is on V1, the superimpose edit will put the text on V2 automatically and allow the V1 image to show.
Normally the highest video track is the only one seen.
Superimpose will use the length of the clip that the playhead is over when you do the edit.
To shorten or lengthen it, drag the right edge in the Timeline when the cursor changes to a double pointing arrow. To move get the cursor to a 4way arrow shape.

You cannot customize the Safari toolbar on the iPad.
What you can do on the iPad is go to Settings>Safari>Always show Bookmarks Bar>On and that will add a bookmarks bar on to the Safari browser.

iDevices are not backup devices.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup of the old computer to the new computer, then sync the device to the computer.
Attempts to sync the device to the new computer will remove all content from the device and replace it with content from the new computer/library.

if you’ve installed the Xcode compiler and its “command line tools” add-on, there’s a lot of text-mode games for which source code can be downloaded and compiled. Have a 3350 and would like to add it to my network. Do I need to make IOS changes?

In my home network I have a number of netgear gigabit unmanaged switches. My Firewall/Router acts as DHCP and DNS.
I would like to add a Cisco 3550 to segment the network and put all of my Tivo IPTV equipment on for fastest throughput. Not Vlan, just a physical where all the Tivo traffic from the DVR to all of the streaming devices will be on this switch and will not need to traverse the other network switches
As a test I plugged the 3550 into the network and then threw a workstation into the switch as well. I wasn't sure if the switch would do auto x over but it did and it appeard to work. I was able to get to the internet from the PC connected to the switch. When I tried to access my NAS from the computer it did not work.
I'm wondeing if I have to make any configuration changes to the switch in order to do what I'd like? Since everythig I use is unmanaged I don't have a lot of experienece with managed devices and it's been years and years since I've done any IOS (is it even still called that?) configuration.
I'm sure there are firmware updates for this switch it's been in a box for many years. Can I obtain firmware for this switch without any sort of subscription? If so, can you point me in the right direction.
Also, how do I get into this switch once it's on my network? Is there a web interface? SSH? or do I have to use the console port? It doesn't show up on my network as an IP address like some of my other gear does.
Would this work plug and play?

I don't think iTunes can do that. Your best source for finding out how is to search on Facebook. It will probably involve some sort of formatting for audio files you upload.
I presume when you say "my music" you really mean it is your music -- you singing and playing the guitar or something. Web sites are getting very wary of posting of copyright media.

I would like to add my Deskjet F4480 printer to my home wireless network. How can this done?

I have a Linksys wireless router that is the hub of my home wireless network. I have been successful in adding a HP OfficeJet 6500 All-in-one Printer an old HP DeskJet 890C that I purchased in 1997 with a computer running Windows 95. The HP 890C has been my tireless workhorse throughout my two kids K-12 school as well as printing reams of paper during my MBA...and guess what: it still works. However, my daughter has just returned home from college and she has a HP DeskJet F4480 printer/scanner that she would like to add it to the home network. I have been researching the problem, but haven't been successful in finding out if this printer is compatible to add to a wireless network. Or simply, will a 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter suffice? I am also adding a new Windows 7 laptop in the network, that will need to print to this F4480. I patiently await the forum's response.

My mistake, it seems that price was a deciding factor when I purchased the F4480 in lieu of a more expensive wireless ready printer-scanner. I will eventually come-up with a solution as I did with the 890C where I have a wireless print server connected directly to the printer serial connection. It seems that backward compatible is still evident, but I am having some problems coming up with the long-lasting HP49 and HP23 tri-color ink packs.
Here is the rub; I don't replace technology because it is out-dated. I upgrade and or repair everything myself. I found warranties not worth the paper their written on and in most cases, the technical support was lacking. My Win95 desktop went thru several major components until I found that it was becoming harder to find software to run with it. I finally replaced it in 2007. Now it seems that there has been a paradigm shift toward utilities that are very hungry for memory, and even if I didn't want to, I am forced to come over to the dark side with a device that has a minimum of 8GB of RAM.

Select the text you want as a link > Inspector > Link > Hyperlink > Enable as hyperlink > Link to webpage > URL: your facebook site
That will take you to the site but not click the button (bouton had me thrown the first time) for you.
If you want more than that you'll have to fiddle with it.

I did there are no videos for installing a HD in a late model iMac on OWC's website that I could find. Once again, can you provide the URL on OWC's website that shows instructions on how to install?
Also it will NOT be the same process because SSD's are 2.5" devices and the internal HD's in a iMac are 3.5" devices. Therefore either an adapter or some type of bracket must be used. Apple does NOT include the bracket on non-SSD equiped iMacs so it's up to the shop or user to source one.

1. 85 days from invoices (instead of 93)
2. Only the 5th of each month , will be the bline day (payment day), instead of 5th & 20 th.

Hi Siva,
Day limite 5 doesn't allow GR91 use after 5th day. So you will have precisely 85 day.
If you want have unlimited day use and fixed day you have never precisely 85 days.
Please do a test. Define OBB8 and replace a Vendor Invoice Payment term to GR91. Look at FBL1N the due date.

We do not support this functionality. I suspect you are talking about watermarking?
I would suggest you send a message to [email protected] , the product manager for interMedia and describe your application. This would be helpful in defining future requirements. He may also know of partners that can supply this technology.
You can add text to an image using JAI or some other packages before the image goes into the database, or when it goes out.

MMS + add some text = 2 chat bubbles... did i just get charged twice?

I noticed when I send a pic using MMS and add some text to it, I get 2 chat bubbles; 1 for the pic and 1 for the text. Does this mean I got charged twice? I went to an AT&T store Saturday to ask someone and he said yes but the tone of his voice sounds like he was unsure. Is anyone else sending MMS with some text and seeing the 2 chat bubbles?

No. You can confirm that by looking at your usage/bill.
