I'm a beginner and would like to know which Photoshop to use (so many options). The only edits I care about being able to do are: whitening teeth, smoothing complexions/taking away blemishes. Does any photoshop have these options? I haven't been able to find the teeth whitening one anywhere. Also, I don't want it to lessen the high quality if my photos. Thank you so much!!

I came to Lightroom quite recently (in the last month!) from Photoshop Elements 11. I like the organization features in LR better, but for adjustments such as the ones that you mentioned I would leave LR and go back to Photoshop Elements 11, primarily because that is what I know. I don't use the subscription service, mainly because I already owned and installed the boxed version of Photoshop Elements 11 and adding it to a subscription service with Lightroom seemed redundant. I am sure someone in the community will (or has) comment(ed) that it is possible to whiten teeth and cure blemishes within LR, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Check out the TV Adobe free tutorials, particularly Julianne Kost's tutorials. She has a good presentation style and you might find the LR answer that you need with detailed instructions. -

I could help you better if you had an idea of the equipment you will be controlling or reading to/from. Are you planning to totally customize a system or are you looking to use instruments/controllers already available for Home Automation? Im not sure I understand what you really need. Here's an Idea. Computer is the controller of the system.
System consist of Light Control Only (to keep it simple). Program written in LabVIEW. Here you can create schedules to turn lights on/off/dim. Then LV could communicate, (for example using X10 or other protocol), commands to the device actually controlling the lights. Lighting device could be controlled using some sort of communications like, X10, Serial, IR, RF, Ethernet, etc... So this system can turn lights
on/off/dim% either at the click of a button on your screen or a timer. Adding any other system in the house will more than likely require a different communication protocol and complicates things even further. You could much of this with regular automation hardware from NI but this requires integrating different components like relays, dimmers, etc.. Much more work and more expensive, (I would think), than buying a device made specifically for the system.

I have an iPad 2 and have quite a lot of photos stored on the device. I would like to be able to download them onto an SD Card or a memory stick which would then allow me to go to a print shop and print out some hard copy prints of the photos I require.
I have seen some devices on the interent such as an iPad comera connector but this just seem to allow photos to be uploaded from a camera or an SD card to the iPad and not the reverse which I am trying to do.
I realise I can print them myself via AirPrint, but I would like more professional copies for a photo album I am compiling.
I am sure this should be quite a simple exercise but would like some advice on how to do this from the community.

I purchased an Airport extreme from Germany to be used as a router. It worked very well over there and I plan to use it in the States. Now, since the power output is different in both USA and Germany, would I only need to buy a new power cord from USA ?
The AirPort Extreme will run on 100-240 Volts and 50/60 Hz, so it will operate just about anywhere in the world as far as power goes, if you have the right power cord or AC wall adapter. A voltage converter is not needed.
But, European wireless standards are different than the U.S., so you will need to avoid using Channels 12 and 13, which are not authorized for use in the U.S. Otherwise, things should operate OK.

Then if that doesn't help start in the [[Safe Mode]] , an easy way to start safe mode is close Firefox then press shift while clicking the Firefox icon it will open in the safe mode. -

Assuming that you have the 15" Late 2011 MBP - MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011) - Technical Specifications, you can go up to 16GB RAM. From the base 4GB to 8GB and then 16GB.
If up plan to switch between OS X and Windows, 4GB may be sufficient, but if you plan to use both simultaneously using a Virtualization solution, then more RAM helps.

I would like to completely remove an app from my iPad and the cloud. Is that possible?
I seem to be having a challenge connecting an app to Facebook to access my friends list, etc. I read that if there is a problem, I need to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I am just pulling back the saved data from the cloud which does not do me any good. I just began the game and do not mind beginning from the beginning since I have not invested any money yet. You may be able to remove existing game data by via the following:
On your iOS device, go to Settings > iCloud, then tap Storage & Backup.
On your Mac, go to Apple () menu > System Preferences, click iCloud, then click Manage.
On your Windows computer:
Windows 8.1: Go to the Start screen and click the down arrow in the lower-left corner. Click the iCloud app, then click Manage.
Windows 8: Go to the Start screen and click the iCloud tile, then click Manage.
Windows 7: Choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud, then click Manage.
Once in the 'Manage' dialog, look for the name or icon of the affected game. If present, you should be able to delete any data the game has saved to your iCloud account.

Can I move a game from my ipad to my iphone and maintain the level?
ThanksYou cannot reinstall it be issue you cannot delete it, it is on the iPad somewhere. Swipe down from the middle of the home screen to bring up the search feature at the top of the screen. Type in Photos app and see where it shows up.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for it.
Check. Settings>General>Restrictions. There could be something in there restrictions the app.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
