Would like to put playlist on thumb drive rather then burning to multiple cd's, any suggestions?

Getting annoyed burning to multiple cd's, would like to copy playlist to thumb drive instead. Any suggestions?

I'd like to add this: I think I may have figured it out, but this seems a little strange. After I burned 209-230, my last CD burned tracks 227-241 (four songs repeated). Is iTunes trying to make sure all the CD's are full to their maximum capacity? (i.e. Let's say it burns tracks 41-61. Then it goes to burn 62-82, but 82 is too long. However, track 61 is shorter than track 82 and will fit—so it burns 61-81 instead.) I think this may be what it's doing...any comments?
P.S. sorry if that was very confusing. I have a feeling it was.

Copying a playlist onto USB drive rather than burning to CD

Hi,
I've created a playlist of tracks which I want to load via USB stick into my car.
iTunes appears to only give the option of burning the playlist onto a CD or DVD.
Any ideas on how I can save the files direct to USB rather than creating a DVD and copying that to USB????

Drag the tracks from iTunes to the stick drive. This will put them on the drive in whatever format they are in iTunes. Not all car players play AAC format so you may need to convert them to mp3 in iTunes and then drag those files to the stick drive.
When you put them on the USB drive they won't be in playlist order. Your car player will likely play them in alphabetical order according to how the copied files are named. If you want a playlist you will have to read your car's manual because there isn't a standard for creating those for cars players. It may use m3u which iTunes can also create in the File > Export menu, or it may use something that is more Windows-ish since usually the manufacturers only cater to the larger Windows community.

You don't need to partition your drive to run Fusion, only if you want to run Bootcamp.
If you have space on your Windows partition, I would suggest you backup your Windows partition, and then, delete the partition using Disk Utility.
You can now restore your virtual machine to a single volume or repartition if you prefer.
I would consider upgrading to a unibody MBP (used, refurbished will do) just to be able to access the HD. Opening the pre-unibody MBP is not something you would want to do.

You need an app like Toast by Roxio (http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/toast/default.html). You would use Toast to burn the videos to a DVD-R disc.

You can't upload documents to Icloud and then delete them from the iPad. If you delete them from the iPad, they will be deleted from ICloud as well. iCloud is not a hard drive in the sky. While you can keep files in iCloud, they work in sync with what you do on the iPad. If you delete them in one place, you delete them everywhere.
The only way around this is to save the files to your computer, then delete them from the device.

Remove "MacKeeper" as follows.

Failure to remove MacKeeper will result from neglecting any one of these points:
Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.

Do you meant a link to one of your other pages or to a location on one of your pages? If it's the latter those are called anchors and iWeb does not support them. However, there are workarounds for that. See this blog: How to use anchors in iWeb. If you don't have a lot of widgets on the page it can work fairly well.

If you clone the new HDD, the OS will be automatically installed on the new one. Thus you really do not need a separate copy of the OS for the installation. You may use Disk Utility>Restore or Carbon Copy Cloner.

I did there are no videos for installing a HD in a late model iMac on OWC's website that I could find. Once again, can you provide the URL on OWC's website that shows instructions on how to install?
Also it will NOT be the same process because SSD's are 2.5" devices and the internal HD's in a iMac are 3.5" devices. Therefore either an adapter or some type of bracket must be used. Apple does NOT include the bracket on non-SSD equiped iMacs so it's up to the shop or user to source one.

I have my iMac G3 set up with three partitions like you are proposing.
I'd recommend getting virtual box on your new Mac. You can install the latest Linux version easier this way.
The problem is finding a PPC distro you like. I forget how I configured the Linux boot manager, yaboot. I may have skipped it or had it installed in the linux partition.
Ubuntu
The Ubuntu folks stopped supporting the power PC a while back. You will have to install an older version of Ubuntu.
