Would Like To Show "Via iOS" Post On Facebook Apps
Is anyone can help me out, how I show the "Via iOS" when I post in facebook. I am using iPhone 5S and using 7.1.1 version. I know its silly issue. But few of my colegues use iPhone 5s with 7.1.1 version. When they post their Facbook apps, its easily show "Via iOS". I can able to Tap post via Siri. But my Siri doesn't show the location, when I post anything.
Need some good solution.

if you pull down on the notification center and use 'tap to post' on the facebook button. if you just try to post in the facebook app itself it won't show 'via ios'. if that is a concern for you, contact facebook.

OK, solved my own problem, but am posting here in case someone else has the same problem. It totally does not make sense, especially considering that it stopped after I reinstalled Lion, but the good thing is I have my files back.

So, I went to the WD page and followed the instructions. The first suggestion was to plug it directly into a wall, because it may not be getting enough power from a power cord. I did this and it fixed the problem. Who would have guessed?

I would like to know if there is such an app that allows my iPhone to act as a remote for my iPad ie if I'm recording something on my iPad I can use my iPhone to press record/play/pause/forward or rewind my iPad via my iPhone
As the King says, if your friends wifi router was relatively new, it likely has not been picked up by Apple's location based information database system and thus there is no location information associated with it. So your iPad had no way of getting its location.
The wifi location databases are traditionally updated by wardriving - literally companies employ people to drive around sniffing out active wifi signals and associating an approximate location to it. Some companies also have web sites to submit that information if owners wish to (Apple does not seem to have one though), and the various companies with wifi location databases buy and sell their information. Bottom line is though, it can take weeks, months or sometimes even longer for a residential router to get picked up - depends on where you live (more rural, likely the longer time it takes).
When I moved from VA to NC it took up to 6 months for mine to reflect my new location (I checked it once the week I moved in, and then periodically thereafter, and it finally was getting it right after about 6 months) and I live in a pretty densley populated area (triangle NC). -

Much depends on the available connectivity of your television.
If it has HDMI input available, all you will need is a minidisplayport to HDMI adapter, and an HDMI cable long enough to place the Mac in the desired proximity to the TV. The adapter is avaialble from the Apple Store online.
Provided the HDMI input on the television supports sound, and the model of your MBA supports it as well, make suree that your adapter is also supportive of sound, otherwise you will need to run separate cabling from the headphone jack of the MBA to TV sound input or external speakers.
This is a somewhat specific answer to a question without any requisite detail. You don't indicate the model or type of inputs on your TV, nor do you indicate the model/generation of MBA you have. -

I would like to downgrade from ios 4.0 to 3.1.3. Unfortunately I didnt save the shsh blobs onto cydia or apple server, but I have the shsh blobs on my user account in folder .shsh. Is there any other way to downgrade to 3.1.3. I am extremely unhappy with ios 4.0 and the speaker output on my ipod touch has been affected. The headphones sound ok..i tried restoring to no avail.someone please help me downgrade

Why apple is complicated! If some would like to downgrade, he should have the ability to do it easily, insted of jumping from discussion blog to another! trying to find an answer for simple problems!!!i've heard you can put your ipod into DFU mode by holding the power button for 3 seconds then keep holding the power button but press the home button and hold it for another 10 seconds then let go of power button and hold the home button for 15 seconds. itunes will pop up saying it has discoverd an ipad 2 on recovery mode and must be restored right click restore and pick your ios version that you need to download ( i will put link) and then hit restore and it should work.

I have an ebook in ITunes that is showing up under Music>more>Genres>Audiobooks, and I would like for it to go in the IBook app. I just added to my phone, is there a way to add this book to that app.?

Audiobooks go in Music, not ibooks. Is the book you are talking about not an audiobook but an .epub or some other format where you read text? -

Someone else may have a workaround, but, as far as I know, if you cannot interact with the screen on the iPhone, there is no way to unlock it so you can get to your contacts.
Were you saving them to iCloud by chance? If so, you can restore them to your new phone.

If you want to stop sending reports to Apple and developers when apps crash, then go to System Preferences, click on Security & Privacy and click on Privacy. You will then see on the left side of the window an section for Diagnostics & Usage with the option to turn off sending crash data to app developers. I would like to know why I can not download apps for other apple products. Mac Book Pro's selection is quite limited.
The games available for the iPad from the App Store will not be compatible with any computer other than an iDevice. To check for available games/Apps for the MacBook Pro you would need to check the Mac App Store, assuming of course that you are running at least OS 10.6.6.
