Would like to use Just Cloud to do backup is it compatible with FireFox 33?
I have Windows 7 Home Edition. I have used Norton Backup Online in the past but it stopped working a couple of months ago. I'm thinking of using Just Cloud to backup my computer but I won't if it isn't compatible with Firefox. Any advise would be helpful. thanks!

If I look at a scanner from an online store and can't find whether it is Mac compatible there, I go to the manufacturer website and check for compatibility. Sometimes I'll find the Mac logo embedded in the scanner photo, other times I'll have to select the driver link and find if there's a download for the Mac OS I'm using.
So far every scanner I've ever bought (that wasn't years old on some fire sale table at Staples) has been Mac compatible. Of course sometimes when the OS is updated it takes time for the manufacturer to update the driver software (and sometimes it chooses not to) but since 10.8 has been out for almost a year the former isn't going to be a problem. -
I would like to use Norton safe web from Symantec to screen my downloads. It is not capatable with the newest version of Firefox. May I go back back to an older version of Firefox,or do you have an alternative. I have no script from .Firefox

I have started ios development few weeks back but I am not sure on which version of ios I should develop my apps. People are having different iphone (3g, 4, 4s, 5) and I am not sure that all of them have upgraded themselves to latest version of ios or not.
Would anyone please suggest here which verion of ios is more in use and if i develop my app on lower verion of ios then will that run on higher version or not?

I would like to know if the new mountain lion social feature works with firefox.
I added social networking to my accounts on mountain lion. In Safari there is a share button directly next to the address bar. I am wondering if this feature is also compatible with firefox. I can't seem to find a share button.
hello, the developers at mozilla are already working on an integration of sharing & social features into the browser - at the moment they are scheduled to land in firefox 17.

Found workaround for that problem.
# Open up the about:config page (type it in the address bar and enter) and then right-click anywhere in the about:config page and choose New –> Boolean.
# Write extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0 and make it false.
What it does, is disables automatic compatibility checking from firefox, so you could still use your older add-ons that are not compatible with firefox 4.

BNN, even though I understand what KT is saying, your thought resonates with mine. When it comes to building and maintaining my website, I see myself more as a photographer than as a web designer. Hence, even though Apple may not be actively developing (and we are guessing on this one, arent we) iWeb, the existing functionality should do plenty of good to me for next couple years at least.
That said, they released a point update a few days back and with the whole cloud thing building momentum and mobile me going for free, why would Apple want to pull the plug on such a fantastic product? -

You can't attach drives to any iOS device.
Having said that, there are some drives with built-in wifi routers that a device can connect to. These would behave like a cloud device in which some of your apps might be able to connect.
Try googling to find some brands. -
I just purchased a new mac mini and would like to use my old dell monitor. I tried a HD to VGA adapter converter,it plugs in, but nothing shows on the monitor. Any suggestions?
What do you mean by "HD to VGA adapter converter"?
Do you mean have an HDMI to VGA adapter connected the the Mini's HDMI port?
Or maybe you plugged n the the included HDMI to DVI adapter and then connected a DVI to DVI adapter?
In either case that will not work since VGA is analog and the Mini's HDMI port is digital only.
You need to purchase a mini displayport to VGA adapter. It plugs into the Mini's Thunderbolt port.

I have a HP Deskjet D4200 series printer that I used with my iBook G4 and I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro 13.5" and I would like to use this printer with my new lap top. When I use the disc to try to install the printer driver, I get a message that "I can't open the application HP Installer because the Power PC applications are no longer supported. I am not sure what all that means but is there any way to use this printer with my new computer?
