Would N.O.V.A 3 lagg on my 4th gen ipod touch 8gb (4.9 GB Availible)
I recently bought this iPod touch and I got tired of these free games and I was googling games and looking at some on youtube when I found this . It reminded me of Halo and I was like " Oh mother of god , this game looks cool ". From past experience I want too know a little more about the game. Also will I need wifi too play this game because Im going somewhere tomorrow and thier internet has a password.
Looking at the description it only needs internet connection for multiplayer games.
I would not expect it to lag since it says it is good for the 3G and 4G iPods.

My 4th Gen iPod Touch won't open up the apps I've downloaded. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app and it seems to only be a temporary fix. The reset and reboot didn't work either. Help would be appreciated.
In more specific terms. The apps that came on the iPod like the weather and maps and whatnot have been working flawlessly. It's just when I download an app and then disconnect from wifi it's almost like I'm on a timer until the app stops working. It acts like it wants to open, the screen flashes black then resets to the home pages. I've tried all of the basic fixes, rebooting, reseting, uninstalling then reinstalling. But like in my...long...question, the reinstalling option only seems to be a temporary fix. I just recently downloaded the 5.1.1 udate (I think that's what it was) does that have anything to do with it, or am I just derpy when it comes to iPods?Try the other suggestions here:

I would like to transfer the music that is already on my iPod touch to a new computer. At present, my iPod touch is not recognised on the new computer. How do I resolve that so I can literally connect it to my new computer and transfer all my music? Any help is much appreciated.

It doesn't quite work that way. Transfer your music from the old computer to the new one. Then, sync the iPod.

i need safari on my ipod i had it now it is gone and it is really annoying i cannot download some apps all because of an ios thing i would appreciate it if i could get ios 7 so someone please help me
You may have to consider, if possible, a visit to an Apple Store with Genius
bar. Usually it's best to try & set an appointment. If you know an actual Store
you may call and ask if they can help you set a time to discuss this issue so
as to save you some trouble with using the online Genius bar scheduling.

The iPod Touch you have may not accept the latest iOS8.x system, so if you
have older marginal Apps, they would not work and may not have equal or
similar replacements under the latest iOS version. iOS7 may not be available
and if you should upgrade to iOS8, you probably won't be able to revert back.
After looking around Support online, I do not see a method of restoring Safari
but your device may have one built-in to it; perhaps part of a reset process.
I am not certain... There are some items you may have to attach the Touch to
a computer and use it to see about updates or replacement software.

To ask a knowledgeable product specialist, and have the iPod Touch model
and serial number handy, may be the best way to go. Expect that with any
upgrade to a newer iOS system software, old apps won't work and new ones
that could be available, may not look, feel or act in the same way as old ones.
Good luck & happy computing! -
i have old ipod touch which has software version 1.1.5 i would like to know which version i can update in that and ipod and how
You probably have a 1G ipod. To get the latest iOS for that mode go to:
Purchasing iOS 3.1 Software Update for iPod touch (1st generation)
It is a paid update. You may have to use a different browser to get the sublink to work correctly.
Go here to identify your iPod:

The 2G can go to 4.2.1. -
I would like to record music directly off my amplifier onto my iPod touch 4th gen.
I would like to learn how to record onto my iPod 4th gen 64GB directly from my amplifier. Seems like it should be easy to do. anybody got any tips?
Thanks,
iamkevman1You need a cable that goes from your amp to the mic input that is in headphone jack. Note you can only get mono. Yoo have to get the headphone end that is specifically made to record an iPhone/iPad/iPod.

The iPhone uses a 4-conductor (TRRS) phone connector (center) for its headset (microphone and control button right). -
just wondering because im am going to purchase the ipod touch 5 gen but have yet to see a release of any kind of accessories besides the 30 pin connector cord which has already been out. how would you protect your new ipod from drops or anything that could accure if it's not released with any new accessories ?
Have you tried the standard reset?
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the
Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -
I have a 4th generation Ipod tough. My Home button hasn't been responding for a while now. I have to press it down really hard to get it to work. I want to go send it to a apple store so they can fix it, but I'm not sure if they'll fix it for free or If I have to pay for it, it's under warranty. I bought it at Wal-mart and has a 2 year warranty , plus the warranty for apple. I want to know if they'll do it for free, if not, how much would they charge me? I Also trouble shooted it and everything.
If you have the AppleCare extended warranty (2 years total) and the iPod is within warranty, defective and not abused Apple will exchange it at not cost for a refurbished one. You can check you warranty coverage with Apple by entering the iPod's SN here:

I have a 5th gen iPoc Touch. In the past, with the Classic, I could drag and drop from my iTunes music to a Classic playlist through iTunes. Now, the playlist I create in iTunes doesn't show on the Touch. I have maybe 29 GB of music on my Touch. I have already created playlists in iTunes that have substantial amounts of songs in each. How can I get those playlists on the Touch without doing a total sync that wipes the iPod? Is there a way to do it?
As well, I am noticing here that my 5th gen iPod doesn't show as a registered device. How do I register it?For how to sync see:
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
Try syncing using the manual method

I recently broke my ipod touch screen would apple repair it?
OK its a 4th gen ipod touch.
I've got it about one year (11 months around)
And yesterday night i dropped it and the screen is extremely cracked.
The crack starts at the home button leading all the way to the camera (there are 4 cracks)
The touch screen is really unresponsive and it goes to places that i dont want.
I dont have warrenty.
Would the apple store repair it and how much would it cost?
P.S. I've read online that some people had the same problem and no warrenty and The Apple Store replaced it for free. (not sure if it was the screen or the ipod itself).See here for pricing.
http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/
Yes, sometimes they were willing to swap out the iPod for free, but don't get your hopes up. They are under no obligation to do so, but it doesn't hurt to at least try.
There are also several third party repair centers who can replace the screen for a lot less. A simple Google search for iPod screen repair should give you a number of results to work with.

i just bought a 4th generation ipod touch, to replace my 1st generation ipod touch and would like to register it so i can have access
to my entire library , can anybody tell me how to do this?Make one final sync of the old iPod to your computer. The first step of the sync is a backup.
Then connect the iPod to the computer and restore it from the backup for the old iPod. You will have to reenter keychain items like passwords since they are only restored to the same device.
To restore see:
iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring iOS software
