Hi. I absolutely have to have this programming project done by 9 am May 4, and I have no idea how to program in Java.
Here is the assignment:

All it is is making a program that will simply show an order form interface; No calculations or such is required.
I really need this done by then, thanks in advance for whatever help you render.
If you have no idea how to program in Java then you aren't going to be able to do that assignment. So I would suggest getting a good night's sleep instead of worrying about it.

I just updated my Mac Mini to latest software, tried updating GarageBand. It downloaded but now it gets stuck downloading the 'essential sounds and loops'. It always worked fine before I updated and would really appreciate some help. Thanks

I have a Home Desktop PC with XP.
I also have a MacBook Pro 2.4ghz running XP and Leopard.
They both have itunes.
My Home PC is the one with all my library on it.
I have an iPod Nano, and a new Touch.

Now I really dont mind how I do it.. but what I would love to know is how I can use both computers with one library?
Surely it is expected that people these days have a PC and laptop?
And due to apples savvy marketing I have more than one Ipod.
How can I use all my equipment?
Ideally, I would love to just use my back up CD's from the PC, somehow rip them onto the laptop and just use the touch with my laptop, and the nano with the PC.
So, I really want to get my library (over 8gb's of music!) on to both my Ipods.. is this possible?
If not.. why not!?

Hello, basically I'm having a problem that's driving me absolutely mad.
I'm trying to save an array of Customers ("Customer" being an object) to a file called "cust.txt". The Customer object consists of the name of the customer and I would like the file to show the names of the customer's.
"someCustomers" is the name of the array.
The code I'm using is as follows :

FileWriter myWriter = new FileWriter ("cust.txt");
for (int k = 0; k < someCustomers.length; k++) {
myWriter.write(someCustomers[k] + "\n");
} // end for
myWriter.close();
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
} // end try catchIt sort of works but when I then go to look at "cust.txt" the name of the customer isn't shown. Instead I get values such as "Customer@af9e22".
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Or maybe a better way to go about this problem?

Thanks a lot.When you do object + "string" java calls the object.toString.
Now unless you have told the toString to return the name it is just going to return "classname@hashcode". How would it know that you actually want the clients name? -

My Ipod has 4.7GB on its HDD and about 32GB total with 42GB left, but i cant seem to put anymore files on it. as soon as i drag and drop my files on to the folder it says: "The disk in the destination drive is full // Insert new disk to continue."

I am using Pages 09 to write a script/storyboard. I'm adapting the standard screenplay template but would like to drop in framed 19.2 x 10.8 masks (ideally with a black stroke round them) to drop visuals into. In a perfect world I'd be able to save them as a style or a custom shape, but I can't find any suggestions in help or forums. I would really appreciate some pointers. It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

I am unable to use Muse in-browser editing. I have followed the activation instructions both in Muse and invited users. I have an active site, but when I enter my site URL plus /admin, the graphic dots move but the site goes nowhere and I am never given a chance to enter my email and password. I'd keep trying the other way. You may have hit it when BC was doing an update or something. If it works one way it should work the other way. But sometimes BC can be kind of temperamental and you have to do a little dance or something to get it to work. But it generally comes around and fixes itself in short time.

I recently updated my computer to 10.6 and now I can't get my printer MX340 (canon ) to work. I have installed the new drivers both from Canon's website and from an earlier post directly from apples website. I would surely appreciate some help with this.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -
