WOULD SOMEONE FROM APPLE PLEASE RESPOND RE: NEW UPDATE & CD BURNING ISSUES.

I am an OS X user however my husband uses ITunes on his PC and since updating to the latest version can not burn anything at all- neither imported music nor purchased music. And it appears that this has been going on for some time now and there has been not one reply from Apple as to how to remedy the situation.
At least acknowledge that there is a problem and that you're working on it?

This just ****** me off further because I already know how this is gonna go. Apple tech support doesn't have a clue and says it must be with the drive manufacturer. WD laughed in my face and said how about you try this with any of the other, say, 150 known sata combinations out there and then come back to me. We already know the answer to this, the fault is not WD's. No one else in the world is reporting this issue. Only G5 users. I don't want my money back on the drives. I want the drives to work, and the 25-35% speed increase that comes with booting from these drives.
For once, Im not going to sit around on my butt and wait 6 months for this to be recognized and 'maybe' fixed. I am going to do something about it.

    The iPhone bought unlocked from the Apple store in the US will work in Brazil on GSM. Nevertheless the LTE frequencies might be different.
    Be aware that:
    You will NOT be able to order from the US Apple online store. You will have to go to a physical Apple store in the US.
    The warranty is only valid in the US and you will not be able to get warranty service in Brazil.
    With all of that, why not buy the iPhone in Brazil?

  • Would someone at Apple please take serious steps to locate and block the bots that are attempting to take over Apple IDs?

    I regularly get e-mails (which appear to be legit upon intense scrutiny) from Apple regarding the request for a reset of my Apple ID. Given how often and the timing of these e-mails (spead out and not bunched up like it would be for someone who actually mistook my ID for their own), it is clear that someone is making a serious effort to break into my account (and logically millions of other accounts). Would someone at Apple please take just as serious steps to locate these scumbags and put them down?

    I've submitted the feedback where you've suggested. I hope someone will takw the problem seriously because there may come a day when the e-mails will end and my bank account will just get emptied by some cracker* who has found a flaw in the system and exploited it.
    *This is the correct term, "hacker" is a style of programmer, while a "cracker" cracks computer-based security. Blame the Media and Hollywood for getting the terms wrong.

    i know a few people are having this issue, but i though i would make a personal appeal.
    i have an iphone 3g and i loved it, worked brilliantly, then yesterday itunes tells me there is an update for my iphone, so i update it, as i always do.
    now i have an awful piece of technology.
    1. it is slow to do anything
    2. the battery life is terrible now.
    3. apps hang for a while when opening and closing.
    4. some times apps hang and cause the phone to reboot.
    5. typing is laggy from pressing the button to it appearing on screen.
    please please let me downgrade it on my PC to 3.13 so i can use it easily again, as it is just frustratingly slow and irritating.
    i have rebooted the device, and also reset it back to scratch.

    I have iTunes running on a windows 7 machine & two ipod touches (Both 3G running the power draining IOS4). My ipod touch Sync's OK however my partner (who uses the same computer and software) has Itunes 'stop & quit' when trying to sync her music. The program quits out at the same point when it reaches the same music track. I did start removing the tracks that has the problem but it was getting to the point that I was removing a lot of stuff - stuff that plays OK in the iTunes software and previously sync'ed OK with the old software.
    The most annoying thing is that Apple (as far as I have seen) isn’t even acknowledging any kind of problem. The same could be said of the ridiculous battery consumption under IOS4.

    Well, Apple's affiliated with it because it's their site, and about their products. That doesn't necessarily mean that they have to be a part of User Discussions. (after all, at least they aren't false advertising right?)
    I mean think about it, Facebook is affiliated with your Facebook profile right? Does that mean that the Facebook owners are going to meddle with your personal affairs? Probably not.
    I wouldn't consider these forums as CUSTOMER support, more as PEER support. Apple provides customer support other ways, by FAQs, Apple Stores, and Contacting Them. I'm not saying one way whether Apple is good or bad with this, I am simply stating they offer other customer support options.

    That's why he gave you the link to make the suggestion.
    But returning to your proposal ... Apple does not sell any of the "wifi" connections. It would be up to providers of service to sell giftcards, and perhaps Boingo or some of other airport-commercial WiFi firms do. I can't think of any other place I've been asked to pay for WiFi.
    Now Verizon and AT&T, as well as other providers in other countries, could sell Gift Cards... and again, perhaps they do, but you'll have to check with them or make the suggestions there. It's really not an Apple issue, as they don't sell or provide any connections, just the hardware to make them.

    For FREE do the following:
    When you get to othe part of the video you want a still shot from, put the video on pause. 
    Take a screen shot:  Apple>Shift>4 - which will produce a cross hair so you can manually select which part of the video you want.Check inside either your Applications or Utility folder for an app called Grab.  Will do the above with just a single click.
    If you still want to purchase software, suggest that you do a Google & MacUpdate search.  This way, you can find exactly what you want.

  • Can someone at Apple please help me with iPhone 4s battery life?

    I bought two iphone 4s 16gig's the day they were released from Sprint and am having horrible battery life. I love the phone and its features, but I have tried everything I have found in the discussion groups and in other forums online and am still getting terrible battery life from the 4s's.
    For example, I charged my 4s when I got home last night and then once it was at 100% charge at bedtime, took it off my charger in order to use that same charger to charge my ipad overnight. This morning, the fully charged 4s had dropped to 45% battery life...without ANY use whatsover overnight...! I just asked my wife how her 4s is doing today and hers is down to 63% since this morning with very, very little usage. (She hardly ever uses any of the data features, etc., only makes phone calls).
    Something really weird also happened to the battery life yesterday while I was flying home from Venezuela. I had charged my phone overnight and did not use it at all on the way to the airport, then turned it off on the plane from Maracaibo to Miami. When I arrived in Miami, I turned it on, checked my email, sent a few text messages and also some Heytell messages during my 1:45 minute layover before turning it off before getting on the plane. Our flight was delayed due to mechanical problems and I turned the phone one in order to show my seat mates how Siri works. When I turned it on, I was shocked to find the battery percentage had dropped to sixty some percent...!
    I left T-Mobile after 8+ years as a very satisfied customer specifically to get the new 4s. Was running jailbroken 3gs on T-Mobile without any problem and much, much better battery life. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with what we are dealing with. I wish someone from Apple would at least tell us what is going on or simply replace our phones if it is a hardware issue.

    You need to check out some of the other threads on battery issues (but not the very long one) in this forum.  There are a lot of suggestions from users who seems to solved the problem.
    But you won't get any Apple input here, as this is a user-to-user forum and Apple usually doesn't respond to out posts.

    Yes, that is the key to it.   In North America live chat is available, though I would question the value of it.   It usually takes ten times longer to 'chat' than to talk or even send an eMail.  Why don't you ask your question here; by far the most realistic means of attracting a reasonably accurate answer.

    Download the full version of the software then shift click the restore button. This will ask you where the firmware files are. Once you point to the firmware then you can install the official version
