Would there be any noticeable difference between the following system memories?

64GB (8 x 8GB) , PC4-17000, 2133MHz (G.SKILL - x99)
64GB (8 x 8GB) , PC4-21300, 2666MHz (G.SKILL - x99)
If I used Pr and Ae on a regular basis, would one of those cards offer a significant advantage over the other?  I've read about them but I'm still not sure; I want your opinions.

When you say that it's not a recommended configuration, which of these three are you referring to?
The setup in the picture above? (In Bill Gehrke's Post)

If you make an appointment at the Genius Bar about a problem, they will check and evaluate the device, and if it warrants a replacement under warranty, they make the final determination. We are users here. This is a user to user support forum. We cannot determine what Apple will do. I can tell you what I already did, the warranty follows the device.

  • What's the difference between the following Asus models: AK53E-BBR21 K53E-BBR19 K53E-BBR17

What's the difference between the following Asus models: All the specs show the same info.
    K53E-BBR21
    K53E-BBR19
K53E-BBR17- I did notice under technical details it states this is a 2nd Gen Intel® Core™ i5 processor, where as the other models don't state that. The i5-2450M is a 2nd Gen chip and this is listed under what's included for all the models.
    Thanks for your response.

Don't see any differences. The 17 and 21 are not available so I would suppose the 19 would be the winner

  • Time difference between the Identity system and Access System: OAM

I was installing OAM. Performed the below steps.
    -installed identity server
    -installed webpass
    -setup of identity system console
    -installed policy manager
    -setup of access system console
The above steps were successfull. Then when i was logging into Access system console, i am getting the below error:
Error:there was a problem obtaining the userid. One possible reason for this is a time difference between the Identity system and Access systems (Policy Manager and Access system console).+
The Identity Server, WebPass and Policy Manager are installed on the same machine.
    Userdata repository: OVD 10.1.4.3
Policy and Config Data Repository: OID 11.1.1.3
    OAM: 10.1.4.3
    Windows2008 - 64bit
Found document in metalink similar to this issue. suggested to change ldapmaxofreties. but didn't help.
Any idea on this error. Please Advise.
    Thanks in advance.

    Try this::
Check Time Difference Between Identity and Access Manager Systems
Check the logfile in the Access Manager install directory. The default location is <$AMinstall_dir>/access/oblix/logs/oblogfile.
If the file exists and it contains following line "skew = slack = " that means the Identity and Access Manager Web Servers are on different machines and have not synchronized time within a minute.
Either synchronize times between the two machines within a minute's accuracy or you can increase the slack by modifying these two files: <$AMinstall_dir>/access/oblix/apps/common/bin/oblixbaseparams.lst: loginslack: <$IMinstall_dir>/identity/oblix/apps/common/bin/oblixbaseparams.xml: loginslack: where numofseconds is more than skew found in the oblogfile.
For example, if you have following line in oblogfile "skew = 121 slack = 60", set numofseconds in the two parameter files to 130. After doing this, Stop the Identity Manager Web Server. Then stop the Identity Server. Start the Identity Server.
Then start the Identity Manager Web Server. Start a new browser session and see if you get the same error.

  • Difference between the Logical System n Client

    Hi Guys,
i need a some information plz help me.
what r the differences between the logical system n the client.
plz give me the detail explanation
    appreciated with points
    regards
    kk

    Hi there,
'logical system' is used to identify an individual client in a system, for ALE
communication between SAP systems. That's why you see a field for 'logical
system' in the client master data in SCC4 (table T000).
Client can be defined as commercial, organizational, and technical terms, a self-contained unit in an SAP system with separate master records and its own set of tables.
    Hope it helps

    V$SQL_PLAN
    DBA_HIST_SQL_PLAN
dbms_xplan.display_cursor functionV$SQL_PLAN-this is dynamic perfomance view which contain execution plan information for each child cursor loaded in the library cache.
DBA_HIST_SQL_PLAN- data dictionary view also contain execution plan information for each child cursor bun in workload repository.Actually this view captures information from V$SQL_PLAN and is used with the DBA_HIST_SQLSTAT .
dbms_xplan.display_cursor - function displays explain plan of any cursor loaded in the cursor cache. See more information below links:

  • What is the difference between the following cases... ?

    What is the symbol *%2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7* used for?
What is the difference between the following cases about the symbol *%2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7* ?
    Case 1:
    "%NEW_JAVA_HOME%"\bin\java %COH_OPTS% -Xms1g -Xmx1g com.tangosol.net.DefaultCacheServer
    %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7Case 2:
    com.tangosol.examples.%EXAMPLE%.Driver contacts %EXAMPLES_DIR%\..\resource\contacts.csv
    %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7Thank you

It just passes whatever else was on the command line to the "java" command. So if you have a Windows test.cmd file that looks like this:
java %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7Then you can pretty much use "test" anywhere you would use "java", because it passes through its command line parameters (or at least up to 7 of them).

  • Has anyone nought their mac with educational price? Will there be any quality difference with the same unit without discount?

    Title

The only one that allowed me to change a delivery schedule is UPS, and there I had to open an account and pay a $20 fee to change a delivery to another date, and specify morning or afternoon.  Could not refine it any further than that.
Normally, if FedEx delivers and no one is there to sign, they will leave a note and try again the next day.  Will try to deliver three times and then return the item to the shipper.
You can take their note to the FedEx location indicated and pick up the computer yourself.
An alternative, if there is an Apple store convenient to you, order from Apple on-line for store pickup.  I have done that, also.  They will notify you by email when the computer is available at the store.  You will have to show proof of who you are to pick it up.

  • 11" MB Air... is there much of a difference between the 1.4GHz and 1.6GHz?

    Hi Guys,
I have a Mac Pro as my main computer (used primarily for music with Logic!)... looking at a 11" MB Air to take round with me, for web browsing, emails, iTunes, etc.
Just wondering if anyone knows if the step up to 1.6GHz is worth taking?
Is the 1.4GHz painfully slow? Is the 1.6GHz less so?
OR should I sacrifice the size a little and go up to the basic 13" Air, which comes in with a 1.86GHz processor?
Would love to hear anyone's thoughts, especially if you have used both machines yourself!
    Cheers and thanks,
    Mike

I bought deliberately the 1.4 version - but with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB Flash. I am always afraid of heat and noise (and had a bad experience in this respect with the 1st gen MBA) and avoided for that reason the 1.6 GHz version.
All I can say after a week of exclusive usage is: there is not one task which lets me wish a faster processor in this type of machine. Rendering video and large photos, mixing audio and similar tasks do not belong to a tiny notebook whatsoever. I use it mainly for presentations in the university (Powerpoint, Keynote, OmniGraffle) which are full of images and include many audio and video clips. No problems. You should deliberate the RAM option (4 GB are always better than 2 GB, especially when you open many programs).

  • Are there any technical Differences between stanard R3 and ISU

    Hello everyone,
I have recently been speaking to a client who is running ISU.  They are asking for assistance with thier landscape from a technical perspective (BASIS and DB).  i.e. monitoring db growth, reorgs, etc.
Now, I have been working in BASIS for over 10 years now, and am very comfortable with the above rols.  My question however is -  are there any "technical" differences between the standard SAP system, and ISU?  or are the differences mainly seen on the functional side?
Thank you very much for any insight any of you can provide.
    Kind regards
    Richard Rog

    Hi Richard,
I have been a Basis administrator for IS-U/CCS systems for 7 years.  The points Juris made are correct.
There are no new transactions or procedures for maintaining and monitoring an ISU system.  ISU "sits" on top of R/3.  The main ISU transaction for customer contact CIC0 has an HTML component that needs an ITS server.  In a 4.6C system you will need to maintain an external ITS.  In ECC 6.0 you will have an integrated ITS.  The main difference from a Basis perspective is support pack application.
In 4.6C ISU is an add-in installed in SAINT.  There are conflict resolution support packages (CRT's) that are installed at the same time the SAP_APPL support packages are applied.  In fact SPAM recognizes the ISU add-in and won't let you upgrade APPL (and sometimes Basis) support packs without the CRT's.
In ECC 6.0 IS-U isn't an add-in any more and has it's own support packs in module IS-UT.  IS-U must be turned on though during an installation or upgrade.  This is done in SPRO with "Activate Business Funcitons".

  • Is there a noticeable difference between Dual Core i7 and Quad Core i7?

    Hi everyone.
I'm going to be a college freshman this fall. I'm looking at 13" MacBook with Retina Display with dual core i7.   I'm also looking at the 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display with Quad Core i7. I want to major in science and have a concentration in photography, which means that I will run programs like Excel, PowerPoint (or keynote), and Photoshop.
Anyways, will there be a noticeable difference between a Dual Core i7 processor and a Quad i7 processor?
    Thanks!

Ceteris Paribus, the quad-core will be twice as fast as the dual-core.
