Would you recommend I install adobe flash on my mini?

I would like to have adobe flash player on my mini but don't want the hassle of getting a million virus' that I had on my PC's...would you recommend it?  Just realized that one of the websites that has employment videos uses adobe exclusively.  Just want to know the pro's and con's...
Thanks in advance.

Adobe Flash in and of itself is not really problematic with viruses.
(doesn't mean that Flash itself works real well).  The big issue as of
late are malware sites that put up an Adobe Flash update window
hoping people will click on it and install some nasty software.  Most
of these exploits were Java based.  But there can still be others
that tell you you need to click the update and then download the "installer".
Then people unwittingly run that installer, again infecting the machine.
In general with Macs, if some site says you need to download
something you didn't ask for, don't do it.  If it says you need an
update, go to the vendor site for that app/plugin to see if you really
do.

Apple's reason for making iOS incompatible with Flash is that playing Flash content is processor consumptive and kills batteries as well as shortening battery life in mobile devices like iPhones and iPads.
Apple officially recommends SkyFire browser available through the App Store.
This is that I told. Thats Apple managers reply on question "Why". There is no any batteries or CPU issues. If Apple allow install Flash as browser plugin - Adobe will develop that plugin easy. There is no any security and performance issue. This is all fiction of sick heads of Apple top managers. And they doing the same with HTML5 witch performance was reduced on iOS7. Because web offer many applications and games that can be played without AppStore - they limited perforamnce in OS7. Just try to use HTML5 canvas on the same device with iOS 6 and iOS 7.
When you open browser with Flash - iOS must ask you would you like to see Flash or skip plugin activation (for this page, once, always). So users can decide do they want Flash or not. Who don't care about myth about "battery, cpu, securiy" - will use Flash. But I'm really telling you - 8 from 10 will enabled plugin and play. Play a lot. And Apple will not receive any funds from browser plays. So users will slowsly pass AppStore and play...play in the browser.
This is only one real resone. The rest is a myth! Games can reduce battery a lot. Why Apple don't block games from AppStore? Correct - becase Apple receive 30% from each transaction. You can develop real flash browser but it never be accepted by AppStore because this browser will hit all Apple politics. Pseudo-flash browsers it's not real flash browsers. Just technology cheating that work. Not more.

  • I am unable to view videos, "you need to install Adobe Flash"

I downloaded the "Download the free Flash Player Now!" and the videos still aren't viewable, I have rebooted the computer, and it stays the same. It is Windows 7 Professional, if that matters... I need to fix this soon. Thanks,
    Shockwave flash object is enabled

As you've figured out, this is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
    Firefox (from Mozilla)
    Opera (from Opera)
    Safari (from Apple)
    Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

  • Which iPad would you recommend for a college student, an iPad mini or full size iPad?

I already have the top of the line Macbook Pro 15 in ret display for school, but I'm also interested in using an iPad for school as well. Would the iPad mini be more convenient because of the small size or more of a problem? And would getting an iPad for school be really worth it? What could I do on there that I couldn't do on my Mac? If I were to get an iPad I would be looking into a 32GB, is that too big or too small? Thanks for the help ahead of time!

OK... here's the latest on my lab environment/server set up. We have a 17" iMac G5. It is connected to a 24 port 10/100 switch with two gigabit ports. The iMac gets a gigabit port; the eleven eMacs get 10/100 ports. There is an internal 160 GB SATA hard drive installed in the iMac, and a 160 GB external firewire drive connected to the iMac for back-up purposes. I haven't got the back-up software running yet, but plans are to back up user information on the external hard drive and create an archive of server OS set up and software on DVD in case of catastrophic failure.
Since our 30+ Windows boxes are served with your basic Dell Optiplex running Windows Server 2003 and an old, cranky Gateway running Linux, I didn't think our little Mac lab would suffer that much under an iMac server. So far it's been smooth sailing, and the whole set-up, iMac, server software, and external hard drive, were under $2000.

Hi my name is Derek in I'm having trouble installing adobe flash player for Kindle HD could you please help me.
You'll continue to have trouble, because...
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store.
These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

  • How do i install adobe flash flyer to my mac book pro laptop im unable to watch any video on you tube or ay where

How do i install adobe flash flyer to the mac book pro laptop .it states my adobe is out dated i need to install a newer version.

Go to this link to download the installer and this link to determine which version you have installed. Always get extensions like this from the publisher (in this case Adobe) and not from some website that says you need an extension and offers to install it for you since you may end up with malware instead.
BTW, once the current version of Flash is installed, you can set its preferences to update automatically in the background.

  • Would you recommend installing and creating apps in the apex install schema

Would you recommend installing and creating apps in the apex install schema for e.g. apex_040100? Or would you rather a separate tablespace be used for the application objects? In addition to this we are integrating it with Oracle EBS? Are there any industry best practices for creating tablespaces and schemas for apex applications?

A BIG NO!!!, you should be using separate schema's

Do not install additional products: including -- "Free! McAfee Security Scan Plus" or "Google Chrome".
