I've had this a little over a year. It wet up fine. I just noticed that there were no lights lit. Can't get it to come on at all.

Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...
Then, unplug the power cable while holding down the reset button for another 30 Seconds...
Plug the power cable back in, and keep holding down the reset button for another 30 Seconds...
Release the reset button...Now re-configure your Range Expander...Follow this

I have figured it out! You just have to install the new plug in to your macbook.
Download the AppleCamera.plugin provided.
Click on go in the finder menu, select go to golder and paste in /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/ ,
move that item, AppleCamera.plugin, to the trash
Go to your downloads folder and copy the new AppleCamera.plugin, then paste it in the folder where the old one was.

This may be an indication that your incoming mail server has started treating all of those messages as SPAM, and is deleting them. Try setting those messages go to an outside e-mail account, submit a test submission of your form, and see what happens. It might at least help in tracking down the problem. If you find that the messages go to an outside account, work with your Postmaster to get the messages coming from FormsCentral whitelisted. It might still be something else, but this is something you can try to narrow the possibilities.

Why did my voice texting stop working on all devices?

All of a sudden my voice for texting and IMessage stopped working on both my ipad mini and iPod touch.

Hi, On thursday evening I closed all open windows to do some virus scanning and window washer maintenance. After I was finished I opened up firefox and went back on Ebay and the "My Ebay" window has changed to a totally different appearance and I can't access messages, etc. My AT&T Yahoo email window has also changed its appearance and has selections on it which are new and non operative. They both are now presented as a vertical format and the "My Ebay" window is expanded off the monitor with a blue sliding bar on the bottom and large white areas in the viewing area. I can shrink it down, but I then need a magnifying glass to read it. The opening Ebay sign in window is normal. The opening AT&T sign in window is normal. Also the Google instant search results, which used to appear when I was typing in my search words, has also stopped working. Everything seems to work properly on Internet Explorer. When I double click on the Mozilla icon it takes me to the Mozilla start page and shows me the Google search bar. That is what I normally see. I'm baffled.

(1) Firefox's built-in post-crash page has not been a real HTML page for a long time (for example, from the time of Firefox 22, see: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968212 Want to save LOTS of versions of "Restore Session.xht" from the "oops ..." page for later use]). If you had this working differently with Firefox 25, that might have been created by an extension.
You can check to see whether extensions are disabled or need an update on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. The disabled extensions cluster toward the bottom of the list. To poll for updates, use the "gear" button above the list and choose Check for Updates.
If you used the Reset feature (or Firefox automatically did a reset due to some problem during upgrading), you will need to reinstall missing extensions. The reset feature creates a folder on the desktop named Old Firefox Data. Do you have that folder? There may be data you can recover from it.
(2) There are many ways for history to get cleared, both internal to Firefox and external. Could you double-check your Privacy settings?

WRT54G - wireless just stopped working on all devices

Hi All,
I've had my WRT54G for a couple of years and have my Desktop hard wired (to the router) and 2 laptops and an ipod connecting wirelessly succefully for the past 2 years.Woke up this morning and nothing will connect wirelessly,finding the router is intermitent and when it does it cannot establish a connection with it. I can connect the devices via the network cable directly to the router and all works fine, it's just wireless that has suddenly stopped working.
I have tried 'turning it off and on again" turning WEP off, changing WEP password etc. but nothing seems to work. Im at a loss as to why my entire wireless network/connection has just stopped working?
Any ideas?

I'm having a similar problem. This past month or so, the router just kicks my wireless computers off the network. Then I can't find the network at all. My work around has been to go into the wireless setting (via my hard-wired computer) and change the wireless channel from 9 to 11 or vice versa. This keeps the network connected for a day or two and then kicks us off again until I change the channel.
I've looked into the solution previously posted of upgrading the Firmware but I'm having a difficult time doing so. I'm on a Mac and the firmware downloads seem to be for PC. The other problem I'm having is that my model is WRT54GS (no version number). Should I assume this is version 1.0? I think so. Anyway, like I said, when I download the firmware for that unit, it shows up as a bin file (WRT54GSv3_4.71.4.001_fw,3.bin). I then expand it and it becomes a cpgz file (WRT54GSv3_4.71.4.001_fw,3.bin.cpgz). And back and forth, over and over again.
How can I upgrade my firmware on my Mac?

9.0.1 keeps stopping in Win7 with message "firefox has stopped working." all updates are current. Can't find an answer on boards. Help.

Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out.

I have the latest and greatest Time Capsule and Comcast. Here is the weird thing. If I have one network set up, then occasionally that network will wedge. If I set up a 5GHz and a 2.4GHz network, then one of them (usually the 5GHz) will wedge. I saw this with a previous Time Capsule, Apple said call Comcast. They checked it out and said it was Apple's problem. Apple said maybe you Time Capsule is bad, so I bought a new one. The problem persists.
Tonight it's not complely wedged, but super slow. The 5GHz network is getting 0.45Mb/s while the 2.4GHz network is getting 17Mb/s. Both are coming in from the same Comcast cable modem. Apparently the Time Capsule treats them as separate.
Is it the cable modem or the Time Capsule. I am betting on the Time Capsule, since rebooting it fixes the problem. Resetting the cable modem does not.
Apple is NO HELP at all. They say reset the Time Capsule. Did that fix it? Yes. Problem solved! No, problem not solved. It will happen again in a few hours.

WRE54G Stopped working

This morning found that the Wireless Range Expanded has stopped working.
Discovered this when a computer that is on another floor was having a really lousy connection. With a little investigation learned that it isn’t even putting out a signal. Now the blue LINK light is on but nothing else. Tried the setup disk several times. Each time getting the following message.
The Setup Utility was unable to locate a Wireless-G Range Expander on your network. Please make sure your Wireless-G Range Expander is powered on.
Tried the Troubleshooting as included on the PDF
2. The Setup Wizard does not detect the Range Expander.
Go through this checklist:
• Press the Range Expander’s reset button (with a pin or a pen) for five seconds. This should reset the Range Expander’s settings back to their defaults.
• Disconnect the Range Expander’s power for 30 seconds. Then, connect the power again
In researching I’ve also tried hitting the reset button for 30 seconds as well. And also hitting the Auto Config button on the side.
Also hooked it up directly with a cable from the Expander to the Router and running the setup disk.
I get the following error window:
Error
Site survey fail. Please try again.
Even tried applications like Network Stumbler to identify if the device is putting out a signal. Again no results.
Any suggestions?

Plugged the range expander with a cable directly into the laptop and also the router and in an internet browser punched in the default IP (192.168.1.240) And it times out.
I fear the thing may have turned into a brick. Had this device for a few years with no problems what so ever. And plugged into a wall where it was never disturbed.

That's it. It stopped working with no apparent cause. No sync, no connection with myPC.
I tried to force it to fix itself by connecting to the PC and syncing, no good.

Considering that you're still running OS 10.5.8, that must be a pretty old MacBook. Instead of getting into an in-depth back and forth diagnostic discussion, I'd suggest bringing into an Apple Store for a checkout. Since repairs aren't cheap (if that's what's needed), you may end up simply replacing it. But does it not work even when plugged into the power adaptor?
