Write button at bottom of iphone 5 screen disappears
The "write" button/icon at the bottom of my email screen disappears. So, I can't respond to or write emails. No probs receiving email, just writing, forwarding, sending because those buttons disappear.
Do we just have to keep turning the fon off and on? Or does any body know a more appropriate fix?

It sounds like you are missing the buttons to compose, reply, or forward an email on your iPhone. I recommend following steps in the tutorial below to address an issue like this (you can skip step 2 "Recharge iPhone" because it's not related to this issue). I think the step to reset your iPhone my be particularly useful in this scenario:
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Yellowish Tinge on bottom of iPhone screen.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this same problem? On my iPhone 3GS, i occasionally get a yellowish tinge towards the bottom of the screen when using the phone on a white coloured page. Has anyone else ever experienced such an issue?
And would this be covered under warranty to get a replacement screen?
It's really strange because it only happens sometimes...I've been dealing with that exact issue for quite a long time now. It's not the whole screen that's tinted yellow, just the bottom by the home button. It drives me crazy!! They did replace the screen for me a number of times and eventually replaced the whole phone, and the first time they did that my screen issue was solved. However that phone's GPS didn't work. So they replaced my phone to solve that, and now I have the problem back again. Most people I show this to don't seem to see it.

When I minimize firefox, the icon at the bottom of window screen disappeared.
* When I minimized the FireFox window, the icon at the bottom of the window screen disappear. I have no way to get the window out anymore, but to initiate another instances of Firefox.
* Recently I found that Firefox start up is tremendously slow. It seems to slow down my pc a lot too.it says hide in the menu but the window is not showing. the only way to get the window to show is the drag 4 fingers down but then it goes away again if i click on window.

My Iphone 5 home button keeps pressing itself but stops if put pressure on the bottom of the screen on each side of the home button, i have noticed that there is a screw missing on the right side of the lightning port could this be the issue??
If you are still under warranty, contact Apple to get it serviced. You can also visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider to get it looked at.

When I watch certain video services like amazon or Netflix and enter full screen, when I move the cursor a video menu pops up on the bottom of the screen and won't disappear until the cursor goes offscreen. But my cursor won't go fully off screen. Just the tip remains visible so the video menu doesn't leave.
What happens if you simply click the trackpad in the movie area before the cursor disappears? Does that cause the video menu to disappear?

So I got an old iPhone 3GS from a friend.
He said he would reset it for me. He also said that sometimes the bottom of the screen isn't responding (only when you use the keyboard).
Now I'm home and I want to set-up the iphone with my icloud and such.
But I can't type my password when I'm in the first time setup on the phone.
Is it possible to do this trough iTunes?

ITunes 11 how do I arrange apps on iPhone screens from computer? Device tab disappears???
I just downloaded iTunes 11, and am regretting it. It is super easy to buy new music, apps and vids, but I can't figure out how to get it to display my iPhone screens on the computer. It will sync, when I plug in my phone via a USB cord, but other than that...what the heck? I tried to click on my Device tab but the second I do, that tab just disappears. Nothing changes, I get no screen showing my iPhone screens, no way to move around my apps in iTunes. What am I missing or doing wrong? I can go to my Apps tab and see all my apps, in alphabetical order. I can select them all and update them, etc., etc., but I just can't figure out how to show my iPhone screens while in iTunes.
I've searched online and found a How To that shows your phone comes up after you click on the Device tab...but I can't get that Device tab to work. HELP! This is driving me nuts and making me feel completely illiterate.This is what I done on my Macbook Pro 10.7.5, Using iTune 11.0.1 to Sync with my iPad 2.

On the top Left hand side, Click on Apps
In the Middle of iTunes, Click on iPad or iPhone
Then on the top right corner, Click on your device icon with the Eject button
Then you should see you device screen at the bottom were you can start moving around apps or etc.....

Be sure you are not in Full Screen Mode. The F11 key will toggle Full Screen Mode on or off. If you have no Firefox toolbars, tab bar, etc., you are probably in Full Screen Mode; your Windows Taskbar (with the "Start" button) will also not be visible.

My iPhone is not receiving mail but the following messages continue to flash over and over at the bottom of the screen: "Checking for messages, Updated just now, Checking for messages", etc. After a minute or so it will flash downloading 1 - 32 messages but nothing is received and then the "Checking for Messages," etc. starts back again. I turned the phone off for 30+ minutes and also tried to reset it, but the problem continues. Any ideas on how to solve the problem?
Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears. -

I had the same problem. I completely powered down the iphone and then powered it back up. I then had the bar at the bottom of the email app that I think you are looking for.

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPhone. The red End Call button should still be working.
For initial troubleshooting, I would suggest restarting and resetting your iPhone, and also updating it to the latest version of the iOS software, which is iOS 6.1.4.

Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Removing 1x and 2x buttons at bottom of screen
Yesterday I accidentally touched something on my iPad mini, and now all of a sudden I have 1x and 2x zoom buttons at the bottom of the screen. Also, I now have a border around some of my games. For example, Pocket Frogs now has a grey border, which wasn't there before the 1x and 2x zoom buttons appeared. How can I get rid of these buttons and the border?

Thank you!Those are iPhone apps that you downloaded to your iPad. They will work on the iPad, but the resolution isn't as high if you tap on the 2X which doubles the native size and resolution of the app. If you tap on the 1X, that returns the app to it's native iPhone size.
You cannot remove the 1X and the 2X since they serve a function that I described above. -
I am trying to copy 3 photos from an album in iPhoto to my iPhone. I have tried to move them to PhotoStream. I "select" the photos in the Album and then click on PhotoStream in the "Share" menu at the bottom of the screen. Nothing happens. I have also tried emailing them tyo myself but iPhoto won't send the email. It tells me it doesn't recognize my ID and password. My operating is Lion on an iMac.

It was helpful in understanding how Photostream works, but, unfortunately, doesn't really reference my problem since it assumes that the photos were originated on one of my Apple devices. The photos I want to copy to my iPhone are in an album on iPhoto but I had originally downloaded them from my camera to my iMac then moved them to the album. The confusing thing for me is that they are 3 of a dozen photos takern over a period of 12 years on different digital cameras (two were taken on film and later scanned and eventually moved to the album in iPhoto) and all but three of the photos moved to photostream and are on my iPhone. It is those three, which were all taken on digital cameras and moved to the album, which I can't get to move to Photostream.

Is it normal that, when I try to share something on my iphone 5, be it via e-mail or textmessage, my keyboard is no longer touching the bottom of my screen, it 'floats' in the middle of my screen, making it impossible to choose the addressee?

First I would try backing up and erasing all content and settings, but if that doesn't resolve the issue you can use iTunes to restore your iOS device - part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
