Please help; how to write XML document with JSP?
I try to write XML document with JSP...
But I got wrong results everytime.
The result is not XML file displayed in the browser,
but HTML file.
I even tried to use HTML special code for <, >, "
but still display as HTML file not XML file.
How to do this?
Thanks in advance. I put my codes below.
Sincerely,
Ted.
================
Here is code for the JSP (called stk.jsp):
<%@ page contentType="text/xml" %>
<%@ page import="bean.Stock" %>
<jsp:useBean id="portfolio" class="bean.Portfolio" />
<% java.util.Iterator pfolio = portfolio.getPortfolio();
Stock stock = null; %>
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<portfolio>
<% while (pfolio.hasNext())
stock = (Stock) pfolio.next(); %>
<stock>
<symbol>
<%=stock.getSymbol() %>
</symbol>
<name><%=stock.getName() %> </name>
<price><%=stock.getPrice() %> </price>
</stock>
<% } %>
</portfolio>
=================
Here is the code for bean.Stock:
package bean;
public class Stock implements java.io.Serializable
String symbol, name;
float price;
public Stock(String symbol, String name, float price)
this.symbol = symbol;
this.name = name;
this.price = price;
public String getSymbol()
return symbol;
public String getName()
return name;
public float getPrice()
return price;
===============
And here is bean.Portfolio:
package bean;
import java.util.Iterator;
import java.util.Vector;
public class Portfolio implements java.io.Serializable
private Vector portfolio = new Vector();
public Portfolio()
portfolio.addElement(new Stock("SUNW", "Sun Microsystem", 34.5f));
portfolio.addElement(new Stock("HWP", "Hewlett Packard", 15.15f));
portfolio.addElement(new Stock("AMCC", "Applied Micro Circuit Corp.", 101.35f));
public Iterator getPortfolio()
return portfolio.iterator();
}Hi
I'm not sure whta your query is but I tested your code as it is has been pasted and it seems to work fine. There is an XML output that I'm getting.
Keep me posted.

Statistical Document for Write off Document.
Hi All,
I need your help in following
We have following requirement....
When a document is written off using either FP04 or FP04M, a normal write off document is get posted. But in addition to that
we need a statistical document to be get posted in Contract Account for this write off.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
PradeepPradeep:
Standard functionality - receivable adjustment - handles this scenario better than write off with statistical. Test transactions FPZW (single) and FPRW (mass). Using writeoff with statistical creates much more work, documents and overhead processing.

I guess you are talking about the spellchecker.
Select the text you want to be Spanish:
Inspector > Text > Text > Language > Español
Why not set your Mac to be in Spanish?
Menu > Apple > System Preferences > Language & Text > Language > drag Español to the top of the list

Automatic Write-off Document in Dispute Case
Hi,
I was wondering once the dispute case is automatically written off, should the financial document should be updated in the dispute case, because technically the write off document is the resolved object in the dispute case.
When i performed automatic write off, the accounting document is not updated anywhere in linked objects in any sub folder, however the dispute case was confirmed.
Should it update or is there something needs to be done to update in the dispute case?
Thanks.
JenHi Mark,
Thanks for your reply. In auto status changing, I dont have the option other than defining status for automatic reopen, written off and close. I did check the status, but its not relevant.
Here is what I am looking for, the automatic written off accounting document should be available or updated under resolved objects under linked objects.
Thanks in advance

Must I change my entire computer to Spanish to write Spanish documents in pages for OSX-Lion?
Must I change my entire computer to Spanish to write Spanish documents in pages for OSX-Lion?
If part of your issue has to do with Spanish-language accents, here's a guide (works everywhere in the Mac OS, not just within iWork):
OPTION-e and tap a vowel gives you the acute accents á é í ó ú
OPTION-n and tap n gives you the ñ
OPTION-1 gives you the inverted exclamation mark ¡
OPTION-SHIFT- / gives you the inverted question mark ¿ -
I just bought my first macbook and I want to know to write a document.
I just bought my first macbook and I want to know how to write a document. Does the macbook come with a comparable Microsoft Office Works but for Macs? Or do you have to purchase it?
Hi Rosa Anna,
Like Stedman1 mentioned the Mac includes Text Edit, witch can open and edit 95-98 Word Files. To use text edit. Go to the dock (the icons at the bottom of the screen), then click on Finder. Go to the menu bar, chose applications. When the applications window opens, locate and double click on "TextEdit."
Pages, will also open word files.
Microsoft makes Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011. It's not bundled in with the computer; when some thing bundled in with the computer your paying for it, you don't don't have a choice in the matter, and not every one wants Office. Most pcs these days come with a 30 day trail of office.
Microsoft offers the same 30 day trial for the mac. -

Andrehello,
there are multiple documents out there, describing the oracle reports server setup. try doc.oracle.com for documentation.
also it is part of the online-documentation.
you need to install 9iAS enterprise edition. the server is pre-configured and will listen to the url http://yourserver/dev60cgi/rwcgi60.exe
passing only this url you will get a help-screen, describing the syntax.

Unable to read or write scanned documents
I am unable to read or write to my scanned documents that i scanned from my HP 6480 all in one .when i scanned the letter appeared in my documents, but when i tried to open with word they were still uncoded does anyone know how to decode so i can read and write to?
Hi,
Unless you are using OCR (optical character recognition) software when doing the scan, the result of scanning a document is only an image, a picture of the document. Since you only have a picture of the document at this point, the only thing that you can do with it in Word is to insert the image into the document. As an image, you won't be able to edit or search the text that appears in the image. You need to run OCR software to examine the image and convert the images of the characters into editable text. If you are already using OCR software, reply back and let me know which application you are using, and I'll try to help you further.
Hope this helps,

How can I write a document to a shared folder ?
Hi, newbie developer in workbench here...I'm using Output service to generate PDF.
_ The foundation service "write" seems to be useful just to write document in the livecycle server; how can I reach shared folder on another pc ?
_ Does somebody has examples that teach how specify destination URI of Output ? I wanna write to : nfsmount/myfolder
Thanks in advance !We used the WRITE FileUtilsService with this input :
Pathname Pattern (template)
{$/process_data/@remotePath$}{$/process_data/@pdfName$}.pdf
Document (variable)
Pdfdocument (a document object containing the pdf to write)
with this setup you can write to a shared folder in the server running
workbench, you can't reach external resources so no problem relative to security
and user.
then we use a java class running on the server to move the pdf from the local
folder to the final location. -
Write Custom document Add process
On the moment an salesorder is added to the system, i have to split it in several orders and add it to the system.
What i try to do is catch the "et_FORM_DATA_ADD" event and write my own code to add my own orders of the system, instead of adding the usual order.
So basicly i want to do is catch the "et_FORM_DATA_ADD" event with beforeAction = true,
run my own code to create several orders
and set the bubbleEvent to false to avoid the creation of the order by the system.
What is the best way to accomplish this. Is it possible the read the new values using a document object or do have to look in all the formitems self?
I tried
Documents orders = (Documents)B1Connections.diCompany.GetBusinessObject(BoObjectTypes.oOrders);
orders.Browser.GetByKeys(pVal.ObjectKey);
But, because beforeAction = true, the document can't be found. If i do this in beforeAction = false, the document is found but it is to late because the order is already created.In this case, i have to go to all the fields of the order by myself. Is there a place where i can find the original SAP B1 code? Then I can copy that, make my changes and put it in the BeforeAction=true. After this, i set bubbleEvent = false to avoid SAP B1 to add the order by itself.
Is there a place where i can find the default code which creates the BoObjectTypes.oOrders with the data of the default orderscreen and saves it to the database?
Greetings,
Erik

HT1518 How to write a document with a mac
How to set up a mac to write a letter
Mac OS X (the operating system on a Mac) comes with some Apple applications, such as Safari to browse the Web, Mail to, well, receive and send email, iCal as calendar, etc...
One of those appllications is called TextEdit, and you'll find it in your Applications folder (which should be sitting in the rightmost part of the Dock, at the bottom of your screen). It's a very basic text processor/editor, but it may fit your needs.
You can also try a variant based on it, called Bean, which offers a whole slew of features TextEdit doesn't have. If you want something more refined and are willing to pay the price, you can opt for Microsoft Office for Mac, or a freeware such as OpenOffice, LibreOffice or NeoOffice (all three are cousins).
You can also try the latest version of Apple's iWork suite, which you might just adopt after a while. It's quite good.
You'll find all those apps and software via your favorite search engine...
