We are using ldapsearch from the command line and want to write the search results into a file. How can we do this?

What OS are you using - If Unix / Linux then use the standard redirection > or >> facility.

How to open MSWORD using JAVA/JNI and write the database entries into WORD

I am searching for java codes that uses JAVA NATIVE INTERFACE (JNI) for opening MSWORD 2003.
To be brief.
I created HTML form called Employee_data.
if i click on Submit button a word document should be opened.This should be using JNI.
I have also created a servlet in jsp to process the form data and store it into database(mysql).;
Please help me to find the codes to open MSWORD on submit click and to write the database entries into word file.Can i get the full code for that.This is so urgent.

The easest solution I can think of is to copy the math equation from the PowerPoint then paste in the Word document directly, there's actually no way to convert it to plain text, some equation is very complext, String variable is not suitable in this case.
For example, this code works fine:

How to write the JTables Content into the CSV File.

How to write the nodevalue back to xml file?

Hi, Everybody:
These are two packages I used. javax.xml.parsers.*,org.w3c.dom.*
Now I use "setNodeValue("abc") to set the node value to "abc". But it is not really saved back into XML file. It only change the node value in memory.
How to write the changes back to XML file? Thank you very much for your help.

   I've been trying to solve this problem for a school my companey has set up. After some research and looking at a number of similar posts I tracked the problem down to loops that came with jam packs or with apps like soundtrack pro. These loops are located in /Library/audio/appleloops. If you give everyone read and write access to this folder and it items the loops seem to work.
I also noticed that once the loops were working agin GB had to convert the sample rate so it's possible that it's the sample rate on certain loops that causess the issue or prehaps the need to change the rate.

I know one method to convert the sapscript to pdf file :
first generate a Spool Request for the required Sapscript
then goto transaction SP01 and copy the generated Spool Request number
now execute the SAP report RSTXPDFT4
here enter the copied Spool request number and the target directory into the parameters
execute the report
required pdf file will be generated into the target directory

No Microsoft files listed in the settings "convert into PDF files"

Hi, I wanted to convert different Microsoft Office files, but it doesn't work. There are no Microsoft files listed in the settings "convert into PDF files". I had the trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI installed on a MAC in Windows that runs trough Parallels. Hope somebody can help. Thx

Yes, Parallels is a virtual machine on the top of MAC and I can see all files in the Windows Explorer. Also the ones I created on the MAC top with the Microsoft Office Software Word or Excel for MAC as well the ones I created earlier on a Windows PC.
Unfortunately there is no possibility to convert files into PDF format with a click on the right mouse. And Adobe also doesn't open Word documents because it doesn't support this format.
But nonetheless it wouldn't be a solution that I prefer to convert in adavance every single file in a PDF format. I need to create a PDF package from different formats.
I assume this issue has to do something with MAC or Parallels, because this function of the Adobe Versions Acrobat 8 Pro and XI Pro work well on a Windows PC. I just don't understand why there are no Microsoft Office file formats listed in the Adobe settings. This settings also can't be changed. I tried to find out but couldn't find any hint for this problem thus I'm a bit at a loss... Maybe you have another idea?

What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

Java.io.NotSerializableException when overwrite the JTable data into .txt file

this is my first time to get help from sun forums
i had java.io.NotSerializableException: java.lang.reflect.Constructor error when overwrite the JTable data into .txt file.
At the beginning, the code will be generate successfully and the jtable will be showing out with the data that been save in the studio1.txt previously,
but after i edit the data at the JTable, and when i trying to click the save button, the error had been showing out and i cannot succeed to save the JTable with the latest data.
After this error, the code can't be run again and i had to copy the studio1.txt again to let the code run 1 more time.
I hope i can get any solution at here and this will be very useful for me.

How can I export the query result into access(*.mdb) file?

Dear all:
I want to export the query result displayed in jsp into excel file
and access file. And I have exported the result into excel format successfully, only one line should be added in the head of Jsp:
<%@ page contentType="application/vnd.ms-excel; charset=gb2312" %>
But how can I export it in access(*.mdb) file? I have replaced "excel"
with "access". But it can't achive my goal.
What should I do to achieve my goal?

The only reason your Excel export works is that Excel knows how to interpret comma separated values as an input file format. Access has no such beast.
If you absolutely must provide info in an mdb, one solution would be to create an ODBC datasource pointing to an empty mdb, then push data into it using the jdbc:odbc bridge, then make a copy of the file and stream it down to the browser. You may run into some ugly file locking items here - set the ODBC connection so it is not shared, and that might help.
This one is going to be ugly.
I suppose another approach would be to write a simple VB applicatin that uses automation to create an MDB, then stream that file down to the browser from your servlet. That would almost certainly be faster than the ODBC approach.

How to write the last step into the temporary XML file?

Hi all,
I'm running a sequence & writing the results of each step to a report file.
When reviewing the report On-The-Fly I see azll the steps (including the last one), but in the temporary report file (ends with _00001.xml) has all the steps except the last one.
anyone has an idea how can I "force" TestStand to write all the buffer to the file?

IdoZe,
I was able to replicate your behavior you were seeing and spoke with our R&D team on this. On-the-fly reporting is not guaranteed to write every step, this would cause way too much writing to disk and would cause performance problems because of this. It instead writes according to when the DLL is set to write based on timers and other pieces of dll code.
With what you are trying to do, it seems you are approaching it incorrectly. First of all, you are accessing and editing a temporary report, which is not recommended. Second, there are many better ways to do this instead of just adding a step to your main or even clean-up of your sequence. You could A) Override the PostUUT or PostUUTLoop callbacks or B) create a top level sequence that makes a sequence call to your sequence you want the report for. In the properties you would spawn a new execution for that sequence after the sequence call, you could wait for the sequence to complete and then read the XML in another step.
You should always use the final report for this though, because editing the temporary report is a bad idea.
Another idea is to modify the report generation to write the report correctly the first time you read it. It all depends on exactly what you are trying to do, but I would strongly suggest this last option if possible as it does not involve editing the report after it is written, which defeats the report generation's purpose.

Will anyone know the name of the Program which writes the Purchase Order Output Medium IDOC into a file ( xl file, text file etc,.) in SAP.

I cannot tell you the program name (but this should be easy to find out using debugging) yet just send the PO output to the required port ( WE21 ):
- generate XML file -> send to XML port
- generate flat file -> send to FILE port
