How can i get pdf files from my ipad to my pc?
Please help im so lost, i need to get a pdf file from my ipad to my pc but it doesnt work with workspaces. I really need it for uni.
If you are running the Adobe Reader app on your iPad you can upload your pdf to .crobat.com and then download it to your laptop
On your iPad open your PDF in the Adobe Reader app
Select the save icon in the top toolbar - looks like a doc with a wrench)
Select 'Save to Acrobat.com'
Select the 'Get Started' button
Enter you Adobe ID and password
Your file should be saved up to Acrobat.com
Go to your PC
Launch your internet browser
Open https://files.acrobat.com/
Log into Acrobat.com with the same Adobe ID as you used on your iPad
Your file should be available
Select the file and select the Download icon
You can download the file to your hard drive
Another option is
Go to you PC
Launch Adobe Reader
Select File > Open
From the Open Dialog select the dropdown arrow beside 'Open from online Account' - select Acrobat.com
You will be prompted to enter your Adobe ID and Password
You should then see your PDF in the listings
Select to open
Once open you can save to your desktop
hope this helps

I am experiencing difficulty opening some web-based PDF documents on my iPad. I had exactly the same difficulty on my iMac (after I upgraded to Yosemite) but was able to overcome it by adjusting the Adobe Reader plug-in security settings in Safari (in OSX).
Unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to similarity adjust the security settings in Safari in iOS 8.
The message I get when I attempt to open the PDF (on my iPad) is as follows:
"To view the full contents of this document you need a later version of PDF viewer. You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader from ..."
Needless to say this is unhelpful for two reasons:
- I have the very latest version of Adobe Reader; and
- in iOS Adobe Reader is not a plug-in and plays absolutely no role in opening web-based PDF documents.
If anyone has experienced this difficulty and has been able to overcome it I would be most appreciative to hear of you solution.
Cheers
AlbertaRicDid you check what I would consider the first place to look:

If the site is still down (at least 12 hours) when you read this try [http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http%3A//kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions Google's cache]
Link or url would make it easier to see which page you tried rather than "your online solution for ...".

How do I load microsoft office and pdf files onto an Ipad
How do I load microsoft office and pdf files onto an Ipad?
You can email them, you can use DropBox, SugarSync or another cloud service or you can use iOS file sharing.
But in all cases you need an app on the iPad that will open and save those types of files. iBooks, Adobe Readers, Good Reader and Save 2 PDF will all save PDF files.
Documents to Go, Quick Office Pro and the Apple iWorks apps will open and save the MS office files. You can Google - "iPad apps that are compatible with Microsoft Office files" and you will find other alternatives - or search the app store for more.
You can read this as well for some instruction on getting those files onto an iPad.

Itunes difficulty to put pdf files to my Ipad
Why its so difficult the new itunes, it used to be so easy, i always have to go through pain to put pdf files in my ipad.
Any video tutorials on how to do this easily?Hi GrattanGuru,
You have creative cloud subscription as you have mentioned. Under Adobe Reader to convert PDF to other formats Adobe offers online service called Acrobat.com services: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us.html
That would be the reason support person might have told you on call, that you have to pay for that service.
Under creative cloud you are getting Adobe applications. However under Acrobat.com you are getting online services which are providing Acrobat functions online.

How to transfer multiple pdfs from email to iPad ibooks
Is there any way to transfer multiple files from email or imessage to ibooks on an Ipad?
currently email opens each one then have to click on top to open in ibooks. I have over 50 files and expect more to come. I have tried hooking up ipad to the macbook that sent the files and put into ibooks that way, but it would require syncing all my media files.
Icloud and airdrop have failed me miserably for PDFs transfer to my ipad.I don't know if this will help you, but for PDFs on my IPad I use either Note Taker HD or EverNote. Both are available at App Store. However each one is a pay for app. Note Taker HD app is a one time fee. EverNote is monthly. There is also
FileApp Pro. These are the apps I use. So I have immediate access to any and all PDF's in a second or 2. Note that these are my personal preferences only. Hope this helps. Cheers. -
I have an iPad 2, and I am sending PDF files to my iPad, via a Hotmail account. But, the PDF arrives to the iPad Mail account already opened at the bottom of the email. Is there a way to prevent this auto-opening of the PDF. I've seen screen shots with the box, and PDF listed inside the box, but mine open automatically. I want to get them into iBooks...?
I am having the same problem and it is even bigger.
When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone there is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong? -
I need to visualize a document attached on a pdf file on an iPad. Is there any application to do that ?
Yes. Quite a few actually.
Starting with Apple's own iBooks App, I also see many recomendations for Goodreader, and Adobe's own PDF Reader. Just to name a few. Look for them in the App Store. iBooks and Adobe reade are free. You can also search the App Store for other alternatives.
Also for most PDF's the Mail App can open them directly. -
Is there a way to download/view PDF files on the iPad without using another computer?
I just recently purchased the new iPad. I have also downloaded iBooks and a PDF reader. Is there any way to view and/or download PDF files from my iPad, without using an outside computer? Please help!

One way is to get the GoodReader app. It has a built in web browser that allows you to web surf and download pdfs into GoodReader. You can read them in the GoodReader app or open them in other apps that can read pdfs. -
How to allow users to post an image in a PDF form using their IPADS
Hello,
I need help with a work project. I need to create forms for our trainers to use on site. I have Adobe XI Pro and can do the basics, however I would love for the trainers to be able to submit photo's, video etc with their PDF forms. Can anyone tell me how I can get Adobe XI Pro to insert an image field, so when the trainers are conducting an assessment they can take a photo with their ipad and embed into a designated area on the form? I would be ever so grateful. The only PDF Viewer on the iPad that I know supports this is Readdle's PDF Expert. Adobe Reader for iOS does not. It involves using the buttonImportIcon JavaScript method. Can I open embedded PDF documents in a PDF file on an iPad or Android?
Not sure if first post got through, the forum required me to change password ...
So I'm trying to open embedded PDF documents in a "parent" PDF document on an iPad.
On a PC the file opens fine.
On an iPad 2 with Adobe's Reader the same file says it's corrupted.
On PDF Pro the file opens, I can see the listing of embedded PDF documents but when I click on them nothing happens.
Is there a way for a PDF file with embedded hyperlinked PDF documents to be displayed on an iPad or Android?pages on the iOS has access only to the camera roll to embedd pictures , but no external files.
Content from other documents like pdf can be copied and pasted by using Adobe Reader for iOS or the iBooks.app, open the pdf , copy text , then go to pages.app and paste text into the document there. -
I changed my apple ID successfully online on my iPad and iPhone but when I wish to buy an app, the old ID comes up automatically and there seems to be nothing I can do, so I cannot update or buy any apps.
Welcome to the Apple Community..
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too. -
How do I get my PDF files onto my ipad
I spoke to apple in February and they helped me put ove a hundred PDF files onto my ipad. When I open acrobat under the heading of documents is where all the files reside. I even made subfolders. Well, I forgot how to do it and called apple again today and they told me with the new ibook update, all pdf files get placed under ibooks. not only that, I cannot make subfolders. Their only suggestion was to get an account with acrobat and transfer them that way. I uploaded the files here, but now I cannot figure out how to get them onto my ipad. Any help would be appreciated.
JimYou can either select GoodReader at the bottom of the iPad's apps tab when connected to you computer's iTunes - it should appear as one apps that support file sharing (there is info on file sharing in the manual which can be downloaded from here http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad). Or the app itself supports wifi transfer via you wifi network - just touch the wifi symbol (next to the camera) at the bottom of the app on your iPad, and you should be given an address to use on your computer's browser so as to transfer files to/from the app.

Converting a pdf online to word produces only garbage!!
converting a pdf online to word produces only garbage!!
One page becomes to pages and sections float all OVER the place.
There are plenty of complaints of adobe online NOT working - Adobe what do you do apart form offering crap online software.Hi 5dock,
I'm sorry that the ExportPDF service isn't meeting your expectations. The quality of the conversion is very dependent on the quality of the original PDF. Some applications produce more well-structured PDFs than others.
That said, what happens when you disable OCR as described here: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (OCR) when converting PDF to Word or Excel? Does that produces a better looking Word document?
Best,
Sara
