WRITING PAD NO LONG CAN WRITE CHINESE?

My S10-3t has Win 7, not only it is the slowest operating system I ever experienced now my writing pad stop allowing me to write in Chinese free hand.
Worked ok when I got it a couple of months ago. I only remember loading Office 2010 and after I can write freehand in English format but when I switch to CN the kep pad automatically pops up and I can only do "Pin Yin" but not write in Chinese freehand!
What gives? Any idea how to fix this?

I am still a little confused on what you are trying to accomplish. Do you want to transmit individual bits or the whole message. Also, can you clarify this part: "I need to write to a specific signal with only channel start bit and no.of bits that the signal is made of."

No longer can write to my external SATA drive...

I was editing in FCP Studio 2 on a my MacPro 2x2.8 Quad Core, running MacOS 10.5.2, connected to a Highpoint X4 SATA drive, via the Highpoint RocketRaid 2314MS card. At some point the MAC detected a problem with the drive, and apparently it has changed the drive to read only. My timeline plays OK, but a lot of clips are marked as off-line, although I re-rendered them and they play. I ran the internet verification check from Highpoint, and it said the drive was normal. MAC disk utility will not let me change permissions on the external SATA. What should I do? Edit deadline approaching...there goes the weekend.

Well, the tech-support guy at Highpoint was going to e-mail me some steps, after he talked with someone about some MAC procedures. He thought that I would have to insert some code. There are three UNIX files on the drive that are trying to"fetch" something. Since my permissions have changed, I can't delete them. The e-mail from tech support never arrived last night. I'm in tthe CST zone, so it's still about two hours until Highpoint opens their doors. The RAID warning lights gave never changed from green to red. No beeps or chirps either. The on-line drive verification that took 3 hours, said the drive status was Normal.

Hand writing pad program

Hope this is the right area to talk about this.
I have a Touchsmart tm2 p/n xq322aar
HP support is being a joke again always telling me to wipe my HDDD clean and is making it hard for me, the annoying trouble I am running into is when I write into the writing pad, it alot of time auto correct me when I truly dont want it to. when I write MB it auto correct and when i fix it ...it will fight me and try to choose a word. When I finaly get it to stay at MB and continue on it decided to combind my other letters and changed my MB.... here what I am trying to write one out of the 100s of words I am trying to write... 128MB x1600. is there away to disable the auto correct or another program I can use so I can write things down vs trying to type...

Sorry for the late reply. Only this laptop can get in this forums for some odd reasons.
Now I am not refering to word pad note pad microsoft words and so on I am refering to the lil box that is cosinder a writing area where you can write your letters and then press the insert button to insert it into said programs like Words. Words and word pad are not quto correcting causes they been long disable. it the lil yellowish area I will tkae a screen shot now it will be in my photobucket.

there it is...so the problem is it assume I am misspelling and try to correct me I do understand it just try to reconize my hand writing but I know the diffrent from auto correcting and reconitions. this word wont be in the data base causes it wont be ( x1600 128mb) that a type of video card I can easly write all the numbers and the letters no problem but when it think I made a mistake it changed what I write ...if it still a lil hard to understand what I am saying I can see if I can record what I am trying to say.
I cant find anythign related to disabling auto correcting let alone to tell the program that the recent word was incorrctly auto corrected and I have a choice to send it to microsoft but I cant tell it what the correct word is.

How to configure my Firefox thus allowing me to input Chinese characters into the search box by using PenPower writing pad while this problem doesn't exist when I am using Internet Explorer?

I am using the electronic writing pad made by PENPOWER Inc. to input Chinese characters onto my PC programs (e.g. Winword, Internet Explorer, Excel, etc.) But I can not make it happened on Firefox, please advice what I have to do with the configuration of the Firefox or using any other method to make it work. I had tried the Chinese tablet Ereneben T7, and the features that gives you with the use of a thin pen is like write in a paper, it is really impresive. you can write in emails, office documents, pdf documents, photos, in any aplication that has.
Why ipad do not implement this technology?

There are a number of third-party apps that offer handwriting support. If you are asking why Apple has not implemented handwriting as a standard feature of iOS, no one here will know, though clearly avoiding the need for a stylus is a design decision Apple made a long time ago. You can suggest handwriting support as a standard feature to them here, if you wish:

Flex support for writing pad ( inputing chinese character)

I design a web application that allow customer to input their
messages into the database.
If the input is via keyboard, it is no problem. But it does
not work if the customer is using writing pad for inputing chinese
character.

I'm sure there is a large part of the Mac market that couldn't care less about this, but for those who can use it it's a major reason for buying SL.
Actually I seen a fair amount of disappointment from people who found after buying SL that the trackpad character input feature is only available on a restricted number of machines, and some have felt misled by the advertising about it. Hopefully Apple will be able to expand its availability in the future.
I'd be curious what you find it most useful for: Input of text of some length into documents, emails, etc., or smaller tasks like looking up characters in dictionaries.

I can't seem to access new mail on my I pad . I can only see strings of messages that are related to each other. I also have lost the ability to search for messages that are no longer on display on my I pad.

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

A writing pad for MacBook Pro?

I do a lot of research and would like to write notes while reading. Is there an add-on writing pad that could accept note taking while still displaying iBooks? Please say yes. :)

As you are on a MacBook Pro, you can run another program, like TextEdit, along with iBooks and take notes as you read.
iBooks also has the capability to add notes within.

To add to this, if you prefer you can separate your JavaScript from your JSF pages.
Add a folder (I named mine 'js') to your application's ViewController project's public_html folder.
Via JDeveloper, create a new JavaScript file inside your newly created folder and place your JavaScript functions inside it.
You can then 'load' the .js file using the method Shantala described, with the addition of an added 'source' property to the af:reference tag.
(This can also be a URI reference to a JavaScript file hosted on a web server)

My ipod no longer can be formatted by IPOD UPDATER.

My ipod no longer can be formatted by IPOD UPDATER. It gives me a Cant mount ipod error now as well. It shows up in device manager as Player Recovery Device Class, and other pc's and macs cannot recognize it. Ive tried multiple ports and it does not work. When it is connected to the port it beeps as it should but then it will randomly beep as it is connected.
Also it does not work at all disconnected from the computer. The light doesnt work on it at all and there is no response whatsoever.

I got same problem with my Shuffle: the iPod doesnt play, it doesn't response to any button, no LED works. When i plug in the USB 2.0 port i've always used before (with any problem), WinXP Pro says "the device would work better in 2.0 usb" even though I have 2.0 usb, and i need to install a new hardware as a player recovery to get the iPod Updater recognizing it as a "recovery mode".
As you said, there is only option to do a Recover, but when it starts the proccess, the USB unmount (DIDU sound argh!), and the iPod Updater tells me "Error when trying to write disc" after a few minutes stuck in the recover proccess. I've tried in 3 different PCs, and same error...
I've been without using my Shuffle for 1 week (since it suddenly stopped playing music, due to low battery I thinked)...much more than 24 hours! And it doesn't work!
Should I keep trying the "recovery mode restore" expecting for a miracle or what? What can i do? Please help, i would like to do anything possible before aplying the warranty...

I can display Chinese character in swing label or text field, however, when I read
the Chinese character data from (or write to) Oracle DB, it shows ??? instead. I can't
change the code page of my DB, (if use ZHT16Big5 instead of WE8Iso8859P1 as the DB page

There is no good way to do this. In your ASP/ADO application I think you are creating a garbage in garbage out situation. Because the client NLS_LANG matches the DB characterset no conversion takes place. Therefore your chinese characters get inserted in the DB. But the data is really garbage.
When you use Java thin driver a conversion automatically takes place from UCS-2 -> WE8ISO8859P1. The Chinese characters in UCS-2 have no equivalent code point in WE8ISO8859P1, so you end up with replacement characters ??

I have an IMac G6,1 Intel Core 2 Duo.
This is my first time owning a desk top computer...I've only ever used powerbooks...I've also never used a mouse extensively...Well, after 3 months of intensive computer use, I'm getting shooting pains in my wrist. These are the first signs of carpel tunnel...Sigh.
I'm in the market for a writing pad. I'm aware of the Wacom Intuit writing pad...Is anyone familiar with this pad? Can anyone suggest the writing pad best suited for Mac?

Sorry, no help with a writing pad.
But, I've had the same wrist pains, and mine came from using the keyboard and mouse on a regular height desk top of 28.5 to 30 inches above floor level, along with regular height chairs. Try using a typewriter stand or calculator stand height of about 27.5 inches instead, for your keyboard and mouse. That's why computer desks have a separate level built-in. Another alternative, that I'm able to use successfully, may be to raise the height of the seat on which you sit, best done not with an actual desk that has a center drawer, but with a table (or a desk with only drawers off to the sides). The key is that your wrists must be able to relax even while typing.
