Writing reviews in App store

Hi,
I'm trying to write a review on an App i've downloaded, however the sign in box appears and each time i type in my password it just pops up again! Does anyone have any ideas why it won't let me do this?

  • How to change nickname when writing reviews in App Store?

    Hi guys, I had an iTunes account that I don't use anymore but I want to use the nickname I had when writing the reviews in my new account, it won't let me chose it because it's already taken by my older account... Is there a way to change it?

    If you didn't already sort it--
    in iTunes, go to Store | View My Account. Make sure to enter the email for your old account.
    The main Apple Account Information screen has an Edit Nickname button next to your nickname. You should be able to change that nickname in the old account.
    Then log out of the Store, log back in with the email for your new account, and see if it will let you use the old nickname.
    It might be necessary to delay while the computers figure out the old name is free, if it doesn't work immediately.

  • Can't submit reviews in App Store.

    Can't submit reviews in App Store. Press submit, it goes away, but app asks me to rate it.  I go back and click rate app and my review comes back. Can someone help please?

    Aside from the free app you were trying to download, make sure your Mac meets Lion's requirements...

    When you have problems downloading apps from the App Store, if you have anti virus software installed, disable that.
    And try turning off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security
    And make sure you have logged out of iTunes before logging into the App Store. With the iTunes app open, from the menu bar top of your screen click Store > Sign out.

  • No reviews in App Store

    For a while the English App reviews have not been available in the Danish app store - which means there is barely any reviews (population 6 mill people). This is pretty annoying that it is not possible to see the reviews of app before you buy any more.
    Who can you contact to get this changed? Does anybody know?

    You're certainly not the only one.
    I've had to resort to checking what apps need updating in the update tab, then going to the purchased apps tab and accessing the reviews from there - a painfully slow process. However,  I've been burnt too many times to ever update an app without first reading the reviews.
    Hopefully reviews will reappear soon, or an update indictator will appear next to apps in the 'purchased' tab.

    I'm not able to write reviews for the app I have purchased from app store. When I open write review tab and click on title then screen goes blank and not able to see what i type and also send button is disabled when i write something.

    I Have the same problem full wifi connection everithing wirking safari etc, after i open appstore my internet is down but the wifi signal is still full. I call applecare in hungary but nobody listen and they sad its close in the weekend. I just upgrade my i5s for 6 plus and thos one ruin everithing nothing want to work. I was a iphone maniac not anymore thanks for apple getting like android. Hopefully microsoft make something because this is unaccectable for a 700 € phone.
    And im curious abot why like that so many millions of dollar and my old phones 4 5 5s working and this brick is not!!!!!!
    if nothing happend i have still 7 days to give back the phone and buy nexus 250€ cheaper. Very very disappointed!!!!!!!

  • Problems reading reviews in App Store

    Hi,
    Whenever I go to the app store and either click on the review title or the "More" button to read the review in full, I get the following error message:
    "The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store"
    Surely reviews should not be restricted by country??

  • Update Review on App Store?

    Can someone please tell me how I change/update a review I made in the iPhone App Store? I've looked high and low and cannot find anything about this. I know it's possible because I've seen numerous reviews that have later been updated (e.g., increased the rating after the developer has fixed a problem, for example). I tried logging in to my iTunes account and clicking "Manage reviews"; all the reviews I've posted are listed there, although the only option is to remove a review. There is nothing to revise a review.
    Thanks to anyone who can tell me how to do this.

    Perhaps you're overthinking this. Just go to the app's page in the iTunes Store, and click Write a Review. If you've previously reviewed the app, the review page will be pre-populated with your last review and rating, and you can edit them as you like then click Continue to submit your updated review.

  • ITunes app redirection to review in app store

    Anyone else having a problem with iTunes redirecting you to a submit a review screen in the app store? Went ahead and submitted a review, but no luck. Did a hard reset and still no luck. By the comments on the review page, it appears I am not the only one running into this. The app asking for the review looks to be Cat in the Hat. Would appreciate any input on how to solve.     I had the same issue for the past few weeks and with the help of Apple support have definitively fixed the issue. Here's what worked for my iPad.
    1) be sure to sync so all apps and purchases are in your iTunes.
    2) select restore - doing so you have to confirm that you want to return to factory settings and wipe all your data
    3) when the iPad comes back life you will find iTunes working again - but without any of your stuff
    4) then SYNC again. This is the most important step and why I couldn't make it work with Apple's help. ITunes will give you the option to sync or restore your data. Be sure to choose sync. What is causing the issue is some corruption in your data and restoring also restores the problem. Syncing however handles things differently and the net is you have all your stuff back clean and, for me, problem solved.

    Now, I've seen this topic a little bit, but I don't want to go digging up old threads.
    I am trying to review a free app that I have downloaded and fully updated, but whenever I try to post my review the app store tells me: "You must won this item to write a Customer Review"
    This issue is being very frustrating .. has anyone solved it?

  • English reviews in non English app stores

    In the past it was possible to see the English / American reviews in non-English app stores. It would be more than nice to get that ability back. In small countries there are often not that many reviews and also English speaking people in non-English countries should be able to read reviews.

    Are you referring to the Customer Reviews? iTunes doesn't distinguish which language is used by the customer in writing the review so it can't filter out those you don't want to see. In fact someone could write one review and use many languages in it, but it seems those that speak German are the most vocal in the Swiss store.
    This is also a user forum. Responses are from other users of Apple products. It is mainly for other users helping you with a problem that they can fix. If you want to give feedback to Apple select Provide iTunes Feedback from the iTunes menu from within the iTunes application.

  • Why isn't my review appearing in the App Store?

    I've been trying to write (and re-submit, wondering if something went wrong in the process several times) a (scathing) review for Ulysses III for the past few weeks, and while I see new reviews appearing for the app and I'm able to submit (and edit) my reviews for other apps, it isn't working for this particular app. In fact, I was quite frustrated the first few times as I first ran into this problem while trying to edit a review that I wrote for it that I thought was properly posted only to be greeted with completely blank text boxes upon clicking "Write A Review." (Because of this, I've started the habit of copying/saving the reviews I write for apps. Very frustrating.)
    Why isn't this working? I spent $45 on this app that does not handle large documents well and would like others to know that very badly so they don't do the same if they plan on writing manuscripts—which is, as I learned tonight (and thus was reminded about this whole thing), what this particular app is being advertised for in the App Store.
    Please help.

  • Why do my reviews never appear in the App Store?

    I have submitted several reviews of apps that I have used, each time writing them on my iPad from within the App Store. I finish them, click "submit," and then even weeks later, they have never appeared. I notice other reviewers have actually edited their old reviews; where are they going to find those reviews that will allow them to edit them? Is there a web interface or somewhere within iTunes (on the desktop) that I should be looking? Thanks in advance for any help.

    I have the same problem, i never see my own reviews on different apps, but we can edit it anytime with the same process as we write new review. For editing click on the app and click on review and if you have already posted a review then it will show the old review and you can edit it anytime, or if you are going to post review for the first time then it will allow you to post new review. For posting reviews you need to own that app first.

  • App Store goes blank whenever I try to write an app review. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a solution?

    I'm fairly sure I've encountered a bug in the App Store, which prevents me from writing reviews on any app. I've never been able to write a review in the app store during the 3-ish months that I've owned this iPhone 6 Plus.
    Repro steps:
    Open App Store (bug occurs on both the Sprint network or WiFi network)
    Go to Updates
    Select one of my apps
    Tap "Reviews"
    Tap "Write a Review"
    Log in using my AppleID
    Choose a star rating or don't choose a star rating. This bug occurs regardless of this step.
    Tap on any of the open fields (From, Title, Review)
    BUG: Entire Review page goes blank, except for the top bar.
    Anyone else having any problems like this?

    I get an error message that I cannot connect.  Instructs me to try again later.
