Writing spool number into Processing log at VL02N

Hi ,
How we can write spool number into Processing log of VL02N by  ABAP coding.
In Functional side, 'No processing log selected' check box is unchecked at NACE in General data. Eventhough it is not writing the spool number in processing log.
Processing log button will be in between of communicaton method and Further data buttons.
Thanks & Regards.

if the field is flagged and you don't get a processing log (with the spool-number in it - SAP standard does that) most likely there were problems processing the document. check in NACE whether all settings are correct and you condition records are found. for the latter go to tx. VL02N -> Extras -> Delivery Output -> Header -> Goto -> Determin. Analysis.

When stepping through the online number registration process I can select a number in Australia but when I go to finalise I get logged out.
When I login again I am at the main screen and so I navigate to the online numbers and try to activate and I get logged out again... round and round I go!
I've tried Crome and Safari so don't think it is a browser issue.
    Please help!?

    Hello,
Did you try to disable and then enabled CDC capture for the database? How about restart the SQL Server Agent?
If the issue presists, please post the more information in the SQL Server error log file for further analysis.

which background process writes date into alert log file in oralce

    Hi,
AFAIK, all the background process are eligible for writing information to alert log file. As the file name indicates to show the alerts, so background process have the access rights in terms of packages (dbms), to write to alert log.
    I might be wrong also..

Any idea how to fix this?
Here's another problem that might be related to this: my "Private" calendar was published in 10.4 but now the webdav server that was used for this is no longer existent (and can't be setup again).
So I wanted to unpublish my Private calendar but this wasn't possible. When trying to unpublish it I get the error message "This calendar could not be unpublished. Authentication information may be incorrect."
If I select the "Cange location..." menu entry in the context menu of the Private calendar I still see the webdav server address and the Login and Password fields are filled. But because this server no longer exists publishing is no longer possible. Which is fine with me.
So, how can I get rid of the publishing? Because I get tons of error messages in system.log, too, for this behaviour. Everytime the system tries to publish this calendar...
    Thanks,
    Stefan.

I am not much of a help, but I just wanted to say that my iCal just experienced the same problems for the first time today...

  • How we know the Number of users logged into stratus?

    Hai,
How can we  know the number of users logged into stratus? If we knows only,in our project we can check the users are valid/authenticated.can we check that?
    Advanced Thanx

Stratus is adobe service which provides you with p2p id or say all your
application's users a p2p id. Adobe doesn't have any admin section where you
can manage/see all connected p2p users in your application.
This you have to implement at your end in your application code i.e.
    authentication,validation and user counter.
    Thanks,
    Vivek.

  • Hi help on processing log in spool

    Hii
in a report program i need to oupput my internal table
    i have two internal table
    1. ITAB_CORRECT
    2. ITAB_ERROR
at the end i need to display a report.  I don't want to use write statement can i use ALV coz i only try ALV when with 1 internal table only.  if the program run in background it have to keep a processing log in spool by using ALV can this be done.  do you have any example please?
can anyone also please to me the process of processing log spool in background

    hi,
if u dont want to see the output in screen then u have to include it in the code by passing spool parameters and using submit. automatically u execute it it will go to spool.
but if u want to do it manually then u have to go and schedule it in sm 36 according to ur requirement.
    reward points if helpful,

  • Function module to add record into incompletion log of creating sale order

    Hi SD Experts,
Do you know any function module / class  to add record a into incompletion log procedure of creating / changing sale order process? We can do it through configuration OVA2 but I need to add more condition before adding to this table.
    Thanks,
    Duy

    Hi,
Refer to The SDN Post : [user exit to update the incompletion log in sales order for pricing error |Re: user exit to update the incompletion log in sales order for pricing error].
Limitation : While creating Sales order, this works only for document type with external number range as the code required for updating XVBUV require Sales Order Number.

  • What is a normal number of processes to appear in activity monitor?

When I go into Activity Monitor and click on "All Processes", I have anywhere from 50-62 processes going on. A friend told me this was far too many, but she uses a different operating system than I do.
I have a 10.4.11 OS on a Macbook that I bought in January of 2007.
My computer overheats fairly easily, so I'm not sure if there is a problem here. It has typically maintained a number of around 60-62, but when I restart it, the numbers drop to a 56 or so and slowly rebuild. I recently downloaded Sophos, an antivirus program, which takes up 4 processes (don't know if that's normal).
Is this a typical number of processes (these are the numbers when I have no main programs, like Safari/Microsoft Office/itunes/other open), or do I need to do some kind of cleaning? And if I do need cleaning, what should I do?

Sophos is a real problem here, but on a PPC G5 PowerMac, so I never installed it on anything else.
My eMac/1.42/2G/10.5.8 has about 60 to 70 Processes showing, can check 10.4.11 tomorrow if you wish, but while it depends on so many factors, I don't consider yours abnormal at all.
do I need to do some kind of cleaning? And if I do need cleaning, what should I do?
If anything, At this point I think you should get Applejack...
    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15667/applejack
After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
    applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
    Correct any Disk problems.
    Repair Permissions.
    Clear out Cache Files.
    Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
    Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files!

  • FW: Processing Logged messages in batch mode ?

If you rename your partitions' log files before running the app and do the
renaming according to each partitions' purpose or partition number, then
after running the app, just go to the approprate log file. You can do the
renaming using system agents so that it is not a manual process.
Essentially, you know in advance where the output goes.

In case of installed applications or running in distributed mode, you can
use econsole to choose the appropriate active partition and view the log
file for it. The "log file" window also displays the name of the
    particular
log file. In case of installed applications, you can also rename the log
    file for your partitions.
    Hope that helps

    Paul,
One way to findout the log file is to inspect your
<CentralServer>.log. It should have a line something like..
    Redirecting output to <someDirectory>/forte_ex_26564.log.
That is the file the the current ftexec is writing to.
This has worked fine for me.
Another way is to sort the files by date, and look at the latest
    ones.
...I'd love to hear about a better way to do this.

    Hi,
When I launch partitions, they display a whole bunch of 'useful'messages.
    (maybe using 'task.logmgr.putline')
I'm afraid these traces go directly in the launcher's log file under
    $FORTE_ROOT/log
As I get control only when the ftexec ends for the next instruction tobe
    interpreted,
how can I figure out which of these log files relates to the ftexec Ijust
    got executed ?
    (example: "forte_ex_3613.log")
I found '/output' for node managers, but for single ftexec(s) ?
    (thinking also about re-used ftexec(s))
    Thanks in advance,

  • Processing log output for Purchase order

    Dear All,
Iam getting some problem when iam creating an IDOC and checking in the Processing log for IDOC number.
Actually i had created one custom idoc for Purchase order since my client need only some field and in one line for header and line item, I had done it and i can see it in sdata of EDIDD structure. When i create a Purchase order and save it an idoc number is posting and I can see this file in my physical directory indeed.
Now when iam going into change mode of PO ME22n to see the Processing LOG, It is not showing the IDOC Number in Purchase order output processing log popup.

The processing log will only show output based standard output control (Table NAST).
How is your IDoc being created. Via a user exit, BADI. If so then they will not appear on the processing log.
It is being created as a custom IDOC for which i had written a Z function module and given that in PO processing code which is ME10. When iam checking the standard IDOC for PO it is generating the IDOC in processing log as well.
Iam just placing my code just have a look at it and suggest if any thing needs to be done.

  • Add message to Processing Log for an action

    Hello experts!
I wanted to know, if it is possible to add a custom message to the Processing Log.
    Background:
I have an action, which is defined as a method call. In this method, I send a mail to multiple recipients. Now I want to show these recipients in the log.
Does anybody know how I can solve this problem?

  • ORA-00020: maximum number of processes (%s) exceeded

nobody was able to log into the database. when I tried 'sqlplus / as sysdba' I got : ORA-00020: maximum number of processes 1000 exceeded
database is 11.2.0.2 with patch 12
I've bounced the database and increased the processes..
my question is.. is there a way to tell what the processes were? what machine they were coming from? in a log somewhere..
Since I was unable to log in, I couldn't tell what had happened.. who was causing it..
if it happens again.. is there a way to log it?
also, this machine has DataGuard to a standby system.. is it possible for something to go wrong with dataguard and cause this?

You have only treated the symptom and not fixed the cause. As fellow members said, you could kill some "non-critical" processes and log in to the database.
But you will have to find out why there were so many processes in place. I am sure you might have set the definite number of processes after your planning before you went live. If you suddenly see too many processes, you will have to find out why and where they are coming from. Also check if there are any rogue processes.
To find out if there are any processes which have no sessions attached
    select spid from v$process where addr not in (select paddr from v$session);
To answer your question, data guard shouldn't be affected by this. Nor would dataguard cause this issue in primary.
Fix this processes issue before it's too late. Otherwise, there will be a situation when you will have to keep increasing the processes until you hit the OS limit
