I am facing a problem in writing the data into table. Below is its description:
1. I have created a code which reads the URLs from OPC.server.
2. I need to display it in a table. Since the number of URLs are known, I have defined the rows of the Table.
3. But am not able to display those URLs in the Table.
This problem can be simply put as to "how to write string datatype to the table". can property node be used and if yes, which property can be used??
I am still a beginner in this....so would like help from all of fellow LabVIEWers out there

I assume you get the URLs as Strings and read it in a loop.
Let the output autoindex on the loop-out, r-click and create indicator.
That'll give you an array of strings that'll fill and show once the loop has completed.

you are going to insert data into 4 tables in a sequence one after another , I see three options.
1) Stored procedure and 2) creating 4 statement data structure (one for each table)
The third option is writing a SQL with join for the 4 tables and use action command = SQL_DML. Example as follows....
Write SQL code and place it in access tag. Pass values for the columns using key tag...

Char data into internal table.

Hi all,
I will get data from the FTP (.TXT file) through FTP_SERVER_TO_R3.
in chardata with separater Tab delimited.
here i took one field symbol and assigning the data into internal table.
till here every thing is ok.
My problem is one data type is 13 char, if that field is more than 13 char in the file
it is giving DUMP. (DUMP is OVERFLOW Field 999976767878.22)

In Statement ASSIGN COMPONENT sy-tabix OF STRUCTURE wa_data TO <fs>.
insted of using SY-TABIX use the actual field name of the structre wa_data .
Use a RTTS Method to get all the fields of the structre WA_DATA and then loop at all the fields and then manuplate teh that which has been splitted...!
Hope it helps it will not cause any over flow..and ...( Try to condence the The splitted dat use condence addition while moveing the data to wa_data it will avoide the leading and trailing spaces.... )

How to insert data into a table only when data has changed its value (when compared to the previous inserted value)

I wish to insert data into a table only when the value of the inserted data has changed. Thus, in a time series, if the value of the data at time, t-1, is 206 then if the data to be inserted at time t is 206, then it is skipped (not entered).
If the value of the data at time t+1 is 206, it is skipped also; until the value changes, so if the value at t+1 was 205, then that would be inserted, and if at time t+2 the data is 206, it would be inserted too.
What is the best way to do it without increasing overheads?

How to input data into a table with columns?

I am trying to input data into a table. My table have 5 columns and an unlimited amount of rows. I created a program in LabView that enters the data into the table but it enters all of the data in one row. I would like to enter the first set of information into the first column, the second set of info into the second column and so on. I am including a copy of the program that I am working with. I would like the number of runs to be put into the first column (it should count down like number 5 in first row, number 4 in second row, number 3 in third row, and so on). I would like the applied voltage to be placed in the second column, and so on. Any help or information will be greatly appreciated. I am working with LabView Version 6.1 and 8.0. I am submitting the vi from 6.1.

I looked at your code and I think you might be making things too complicated. I've included a very simple example that demonstrates how to write a 2D array of integers to a table. Hope you find this helpful. It is in LV 7.1.

How to insert data into a table from an xml document

using the XmlSql Utility, how do I insert data into a table from an xml document, using the sqlplus prompt.
if i use the xmlgen.insertXML(....)
requires a CLOB file, which i dont have, only the xml doc.
Cant i insert directly from the doc to the table?
the xmlgen examples I have seen first convert a table to a CLOB xmlString and then insert it into another table.
Isnt there any other way?

If you're using XML SQL Utility from
the commandline, just use putXML.

You can INSERT into both tables within one Transaction but not in one statement. By the way, you would need to alter your dbo.Test1 table to allow null for first INSERT test2_id column

Inserting Data into nested table

I am exploring the differences between OBJECT & RECORD.
As i am still in process of learning, I found that both are structures which basically groups elements of different datatypes or columns of different datatypes, one is used in SQL and other is used in PL/SQL, please correct me if I am wrong in my understanding.

1. Specified output Dir has write permission

I am also curious why you are writing to a directory with the name "..\SampleImportProcess1\input" ?
