User Exit over Work flow

hi all,
I have requirement of creating a sales order when the work Order is flagged to completion through IW32.
I checked for the User Exit avaiable for IW32 and its not trigerred when the SAVE button is clicked.
so i am planning to go for a work flow approach.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation. is there any other possible way as wrok flow would have a lot of execution time.

How do I get google hangouts to recognize my camera

I have a new Macbook Air running on OS X 10.9.. When I use google hangouts I can only use audio/voice, It will not access my camera.
I have read multiple chat forums from the fall 2013 that share in this issue, wondering if anyone knows if the plugin has been developed yet to fix this?

Try image capture - once you get the photos off of the camera use the camera to reformat the mamory card
A highy recommended work flow it to never let iPhoto erase your photos - always "keep" your photos and later after at least one successful backup cycle use the camera's format command to erase and reformat the card - this protects against lost photos and keeps the card format fresh
An even better wrok flow is to use a card reader to import your photos

Custom field in SAP Inbox

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement of adding a custom field in SAP Inbox.
Ex: If an Invoice Wrok flow is triggered..the Invoice number number will be generated and it will be shown in the Title column.
Now I have a requiremnt of adding a two Custom field as 'Supplier Name' and 'Document number'.
1. Is it possible to add the custom field in SAP Inbox?? if Yes can you guys let me know the procedure?? Also if I add a custom field Can that be controlled for specific work flow?
2. Also I have seen the field Dynamic Columns in in the layout, Can I use that filed to populated the Supplier name and document number?? is Yes how to proceed further?? ( Does the efforts vary for Standard workflow and Custom Work flow??

Hi Krishna,
To solve your issue, you need to know the linkage between the WF and event.
You can go to t-code SWE2 to find the event linkage between Workflow & Business Object event.
You can also open t-code PFTC, select the task type as Worflow Template and give the TASK / WF number without prefix WS, then go to EVENT tab to know the event.

When i import photos from library to a folder they are shaded?

Can they be restored to a normal photo? i use the show photos tab when i open a folder.

Please explain your wrok flow and describe what the problem is -
For starters you impoort photos into the iPhoto library and export them from the iPhoto library -- are you exporting photos to a desktop folder? Or what?
What do you mean by "they are shaded"? Where is the "show Photos" tab you are using? where is the folder yoou ae opening?
In short remember we can see you or your computer and only know what you tell us so you need to be very clear about the problem and what you are doing

UWL Task Attachments

We have a requirement to launch custom webdynpro java app when the user selects the atttachment for the UWL task. We can modify the UWL XML file to lauch custom app for a task but for attachments I am not sure. Is there a way to configure the attachments for the UWL task to launch custom webdynpro java application? We are on NW 7.01 SP6.

Hi Anu,
I am not sure that we can configure the attachments or not for your requirement.
As attachments link comes from Wrok Flow side.
But i can suggest you one work around -- you remove the default attachments button from UWL iview
and in UWL XML do the changes to add link which each will appear for each task . On this link you can
open your custom apps very easily and for justification you can say that for checking the attachments
no need to open the task details.

WorkFlow Track List

Hello each champion,
Pls guide me how can I retrive the wrokflow track list.
I mean a date wise wrokflow execution report. But it should be compiled list of workflows. Not for singal one.
I have already tried,
SWI5 - it is the nearest, provides the time duration eaten by the user to complete his part of WF.
SWI6 - Not providing the Completion date.
SWI1 - provides the start & end time but in very disturbed complation, because it follows the status.

Workflow - sequences or video?

Hello,
I have done 15 videos for sale, and now I want to make a promotion video for those videos, showing parts of the 15 videos.
I simply took the sequences from some of the videos, and put them on a new sequence "promotion". This made my editing really slow, but I hade the possibility to change in the original sequence, and making this change also appear in the "promotion"
I guess I could have rendered the sequences to video files, and then made the "promotion" by adding parts of these videos on the new "promotion" timeline.
Which would be the preferred wrok flow? - And; to what format would it be best to render the videos, if second option above is choosen as method?
I work with 1920x1080 Canon MXF- files (XDCAM-HD 422 Movie) and the final result should be encoded with H.264 MP4.

I found that putting the sequences in the time line made the program very slow, if this is the case, I guess it is better to use the rendered video files. Or is it just my computer that has to low capacity?

Fcp to color how you have got color to work

Hi Guys I am having problems in getting the work flow with color to work and keep asking question on how to fix it , so i am thinking is there any body who would like to share how they got color to work and what setting you use, what formats ect. so we could get a list of working mac that every body can see. so please if you are up and running and your wrok flow works please tell me and all the other just how you have done it

welcome here!
Maybe your message tells us more about some frustrations you have been experiencing rather than the actual technical glithces you have encountered.
Therefore, I start with a very symple reply.
When I need Color to grade my video (usually DVCPRO HD) I simply go to file>send to>Color.
I colour grade, render and send it back to FCP.
Never had problems with that.
To use Color you may need (recommendable) dual core intel processor or higher, 4GB RAM or higher, X1900 graphics card, High Def. external monitor. An external or internal drive capable to let you edit on the fly.
I noticed that you are using Leopard.
Issues related to the new OS with FCPstudio2 are quite common and we are all taking notice of it.
Leopard was not specifically designed for FCP users so those and other issues were more or less predictable.

I would like to know what would be the best way i can implement the MSS transaction in our implementation project.
We are planned to go with Webdynpro and Wrok flow, in my previous experince we have used the IQSR frame work to driver all the MSS transaction ( Multil level BADI implementation).
I Want to know in the latest version of Ecc6 EHP4 what is the best suggestable way to implement , I am aware of implementing point to point (Initiator Page (webdynpro ) submits the request can able to trigger the Workflow ).

Hi Krishna, I have been working with Webdynpros and Workflow and I didn't face any impossible issue to solve. So, I recommend you this option.

Drawing

Hello all,
Can we send drawing copy to our supplier's email id directly from purchase order through work business ( wrok flow )

Where is the drawing stored? If the drawing is stored on the frontend, you can use the generic object service "Send" from the PO (or any other business document), attach any front end file (drawings, mp3s, jpegs) and hit send.
From ME22N, choose System->Services for object. Then click on the "Send object with note" button. Everything else is self-explanatory from here on.
Also, you need to have SAPConnect configured properly for any kind of emailing from your SAP system.

Can not properly view cover flow in full screen in external display

My mac is the new Mac book pro 15.4 inch screen and I connect my mac pro to external display e.g. Samsung LCD monitor 24 inches.
The bug is that I can not PROPERLY view full screen (in external display) for some application e.g. iTunes, and Front Row.
- When I use iTunes, I can not properly view Cover Flow view in full screen (in the external display screen) except the case of mirror display.
- For Front Row, I can not view full screen in external display but only my mac display.
However, for other DVD or VDO players, I can view movie on external display in full screen and I still be able to do other works on my mac screen.
Please let me know how to solve it.
