Wrong Apple ID's keep popping up on phone

At one point in time, my brother, sister, and I all shared one computer. We shared all of our music because of this. We no longer share music libraries. On my iPhone now, their ID's keep popping up asking for their passwords even though I don't have any of their music in my iPhone library. How do I delete their Apple ID's from my phone so that it will stop popping up?
Thanks!

Backup your iPhone.  Go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.  If this doesn't work, you will need to erase all content and settings and then restore from your backup.

    I'm very glad that helped!
It's good you looked in the Manual first. Certainly not everyone does that.
With Apple products, I've found that not everything is completely documented, but sometimes if you try something that seems like it should work, it actually does work.
That's how I personally learned about this feature.

iphone will not sync with itunes or ture on only with it on a charger but will only keep popping up the apple sign or on acation show iso6 on screen and say sync with conputer but as soon as i take it off yhe charger it wont do anything

I followed the instructions in those 2 articles. Still not able to see the device in ITunes. I reinstalled the latest iTunes and all updates to my iMac (Mac OSX ver 10.6.8). I tried 3 different USB Cables in different USB ports. Rebooting both the Iphone and IMac. Still nothing seems to be working. I searched the discussion boards and I see other people with the same problem but they seem to run into the same problems finding a solution. I dont understand what happened because this was working properly up until 2 days ago. Do you have any more suggestions?

  • My iphone 4 has become unusable because Incorrect Apple ID Password keeps popping up even though I have entered my password correctly

The message just keeps popping up and I can't do anything with the phone. It's most frustrating

If it says incorrect password the password is incorrect, even if you think it is correct. But are you sure it is asking for the password for the same account that you are entering the password for?

  • I want to download apps but my apple id passwords keeps popping up and its annoying. How do i stop that?

How do i stop the apple id password from popping up when i want to download apps ?

You don't. That is how it works. It is a verification process. Would you like anyone that picked up your phone to be able to make purchases? I don't think so.

  • Old Apple ID name keeps popping up

I changed the primary e-mail for my son's Apple ID and can sign in to all the apps and iCloud and Internet Accounts using the new address.  However, when I shut down & restart the computer it reverts to a screen as if I'm setting up my ID for the first time when I log into his account.  However, I keep getting pop up screens with the OLD e-mail address for the same ID from Facetime, iMessaging and iCloud to enter my password.  I then go into those applications and the old e-mail has reappeared.  I have no idea where it is coming from.  I tried deleting the iCloud accounts in the user library.  I tried deleting the keychains.  Nothing works.  It seems like it is possessed.

Go to Settings/iCloud. Is the email address on that page yours? If it is not see frazzm737's post.
Did you remove all of the apps from the phone when you started using it? If you did not then the apps are all tied to the previous owner's iTunes account. That message means that you got an update for an app, and the previous owner's ID is needed to install it.

  • Apple ID Password keeps popping up

Earlier today I had to restore my iPhone, and it screwed some stuff up.
An iCloud restore got most of it working, but a few things were wrong. My apps were out of order (not in any folders), and a couple other minor things. No big deal though.
After syncing my music back, my iPhone keeps asking for a few different Apple ID passwords...since it keeps suggesting a few different Apple IDs, I am led to believe that I have music from a few friends that I previously had authorized, but now I need to re-authorize them.
Honestly, I'd like to just get rid of those couple songs (I have too many for one or two to matter probably). How can I find a song that has a certain Apple ID? Either in iTunes or on my iPhone, I don't care.
    Thanks!

What the phone is trying to do is download some music off the cloud that's tied to these other people. Click the iTunes App and if there is a number pending in your downloads this should be the issue.
Also delete this music in your Music App. This is music that you added to your Library that was purchased by someone else not with your iPhone but it contains the info

  • HT201263 None of these answers help my problem.  My ipad will not leave the Apple logo.  I hold both buttons and the screen goes black, then the apple logo immediately pops back up.  I can't do anything because the apple logo just keeps popping back on.

I haven't been able to find any answers that solve my problem.  My Ipad will not leave the Apple logo.  I hold both buttons and the screen goes black and then the Apple logo immediately pops back up.  I can't get the red slider screen at all.  No matter how many times I hold down both buttons the screen goes black and then the Apple logo pops right back on.

Before you do anything else, try charging via a wall outlet for a while, since its off. Then try turning it back on.
When you put the device into recovery mode it allows you to restore the device when no other options work. You do risk losing everything currently strored on the ipad itself. Hopefully you've performed regular backups either via itunes, icloud or both. Evern if you have synced content to either of those, you may not lose everything. All previous purchases have been saved in the itunes and app stores, so you can dowload them again.
while the ipad is off, press and hold the home button and plug the usb cord into the ipad. You should see a message pop up on the itunes window on your compoter screen that state it has discoverd an ipad in recovery mode.
You should now be able to restore

  • Voice recognition keeps popping up on phone

I have tried to locate help with this question, but no one seems to have this problem.  Just this past weekend, my phone has been acting goofy by the google voice page just pop up like I want to ask a question verbally. I have given it a hard reboot and even taken out the sim card--no go there.  I also tried to go into settings to disable that, but it seems to get worse when I keep turning it on and off.  I tried it in safe mode and that didn't work.  It keeps trying to connect to "Speak Again"  or "Connection problem" or "Audio Problem"  Is this a hardware or software problem.  I just need to know if I need to take it in.  We live out in the country so it is a drive to go to the Verizon Store.  Please help.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with the voice page Meddling_sheep. Which phone do you have? Are you using any kind of Bluetooth or headset? If so, please try disconnecting/unpairing, and see if corrects. Please keep us posted.

  • I'm trying to install the new version, but each time during the installation, "Error writing to file: C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Apple/Mobile Device/Support/AppleMobileDeviceHelper.resources/Info.plist." Keeps popping up. What am I doing wrong?

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • I changed my apple password now i cloud sign in box keeps popping up on my I pad 2 and will not take my password

I changed my apple password from my i phone so when I tried to get on on my Ipad 2, the sign into icloud keeps popping up! It will not go away after entering the password, it doesnt say it's wrong it just keeps popping up! I have had no prolems with my iphone or my mac! I tried updating and that didnt help! Someone please help!!

The reason it won't authenticate your password is because it isn't connected to wifi.  Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, the release and wait for it to restart.  As soon as it restarts, quickly go to Settings>Wi-Fi and connect it before it starts prompting you.  Once it's connected to wifi, enter your password when prompted and it should take it this time.
