Wrong birthdate

My birthday has always been set for 3-12, I've never changed it, never had anyone contact me on the wrong day. For some reason, today is showing as my birthday, is this a glitch in the system that it took my date and month and transposed them? I've had Skype for years, always had the correct birthday, don't know why this year it transposed the numbers.

Hi, thetinacook, and welcome to the Community!
This is a new issue to me!  My first thought was to ask if you had changed any system settings - in Europe, the normal date format is day-month-year whilst in the United States, the convention is month-day-year.
If something odd such as you report had occurred to me, I would proactively change my account password and check my account usage along with billing and payment histories just to be on the safe side.
I subscribed to this thread in case anyone else adds their own observations.  Hmmm ...
Kind regards,
Elaine

  • Disabled Apple ID? Wrong birthdate? Read this, I fixed it on my iPhone 4

My apple ID on my iPhone 4 to defaulted to my other email address and my birthdate was input wrong. After months I fixed it last night. It was disabled for security. Figuring this out has taken months and ruined many days to frustration. I hope this can help at least one other person.  Here what I did on my iPhone:
First of all you CANNOT fix it thru you "manage my apple id" page. That will update everything except what you need to fix. Go to =settings = iTunes AppStore = change your apple ID to what you want. Now go to EVERY single app installed on your phone and change it where ever the wrong ID is listed. Don't skip anything. I found the wrong Apple ID associated with my video and camera. Any apps with the wrong ID that you cannot manually change the email/ apple ID you will not be able to download updates, so if you need the update you have to delete the app and reinstall after you finish fixing the problem. Now, this is where I think I inherited the problem: go settings= icloud (it may be listed as the wrong email here) on my phone it is first listed w the apps above Mail. So, it's settings = icloud = account advanced (your email)=here is you SMTP server, outgoing mail. Make sure you change this to the correct email associated w correct apple ID. Now go back to settings= mail, contacts and calendars" open your email account (more than one? Do them all) here you will find yourSMTP severs, default email address for your contacts and calendars, you can change what needs to be changed. Open the "advanced" link when you find them and update
when you are checking EVERY thing installed on your device follow every "advanced" setting you see and make changes you need, want. Now go delete the apps with wrong ID that will need upgrades installed. Now go open App Store and now is your opportunity to set new security questions and changed that $@#¥!! Wrong birthdate. Hope this helps. Good luck. Ps, my apple ID is my icloud address. I sync'd my hotmail with it on my phone so when I downloaded apps from a site that I put my hotmail as my email, it changed my ID. I'm pretty sure that's how this happened. I have decided to get all my apps from the App Store from now on and not thru sites on the web. Oh, go check your email for any confirmations Apple sends you. Again, good luck

If you haven't already, try signing out, then back in with your Apple ID (Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in).  If the problem persists, you can contact iTunes store support here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

  • I think I have two Apple IDs but must have typed in the wrong birthdate when I created my main one, because I can't recover it, but need to.

I have read all the Apple ID support notes, but cannot find how to recover my account in my case.  I mistakenly thought I should change my AppleID to my new email, and when I tried to do that, I lost the thread.  I recieved a verification email sent to my new email (so it must have added ok) but when I go to change my password, I never get that confirmation email.  So when I try to access the account by answering security questions, I must have typed in the wrong birthdate way back when, and I can't get past that screen.  What now?  I seem to be able to access an AppleID that does not include any of the games I've purchased over the years, so it must be a newer one I inadertently set up.  Thus, I haven't been able to access my main working account for awhile now, and I really want to buy some things and have them on my iPad & new iPhone.  How do I get access to my old account with all my past purchases in it?

I too added 2nd apple ID when I tried to get Free app from apple store just to get to NONE on the credit card needed. It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account.  On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account.  If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to.  It did not send to back up email account either.
Can I log into 2 email accounts on my ipad where it says mail at bottom?
Can I have 2 apple ids?
If I created a 2nd apple id to get to NONE on credit card needed, can't I log into it also on another laptop in gmail?
    (won't let me)
If I used my original apple id I created when I got my new ipad, it will not let me get free app without credit card, there is no where it says NONE needed. I am too new to apple to start with credit cards etc until I get use to it.

  • I put in the wrong birthdate when registering my daughter's new iPod touch. When I went to correct it, it looked me out

I put the wrong birthdate when registering my daughters new iPod Touch. It didn't let me establish a new account because the birthdate was too young. When I went to correct it, it continued the lock her new registration out. Now I can't successfully register her on iTunes with her correct birth year.

i just opened my ipad, started my apple account/I.D. and realized I put the wrong e mail. I was having trouble correcting my I.D on the Ipad so I went to my laptop and make the proper changes/slash e mail address I wanted for my apple ID. I got back to my ipad and try to download an app I can't because I have to sign in my apple account and I can't because it still has the irrelivant I.D/email address..
So, i did what you said.. went to setting>app store> tapped on my e mail.. it asked me to sign in (with my invalid emails address showing). I signed in with the password I had created. It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating.  I have been asking and no one knows what to do.

  • HT5622 I entered the wrong birthdate into the Apple ID login and now it is saying I so not meet the minimum age requirement. How do I fix this and create and account?

I just got an IPhone today and I went into the App Store to create an Apple ID and I accidentally entered the wrong birthdate and now it is saying I do not meet the minimum age requirement. How can I fix this and finally create my Apple ID?

    Try this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1918
If that doesn't work and you have not verified your email address, you may still be able to use it to create an Apple ID. Just start from scratch.

  • I put the wrong birthdate in when I originally set up my icloud account. How can I get past this problem?

I Originally put in a wrong number in my birthdate when creating my new account. How can I get past this problem to fix this?

Go to My Apple ID to manage your iCloud ID, sign in and select the Passwords and Security section, answer the two security questions to the right, then enter the correct birthdate on the bottom right.

  • A family member has purchased a iPad and has almost totally screwed up the set up of the unit. Incorrect email contact info, and mistakenly entered the wrong birthdate on the security question. So many errors I think it will be easier to start from scratc

A family member has a new Ipad 2 and has made errors or has forgotten so much of the set up info that I cannot figure out how to help him. I think it would be easier to start from scratch. Security question entered wrong. Email account entered belongs to someone else etc... Please help!

My iPad is now useless   because it is asking for an old passed from an old user id that stopped working a year or so.  It was. Bellsouth id and when I go to reset. It tells me I don't have my birthdate correct

Well, you can contact Apple Support to get help with resetting your password in this situation:

  • What if my apple ID has the incorrect birthdate?

I am trying to do a software update, and my password isn't working.  When I went to change it, the birthdate comes up as incorrect (also didn't have the year).  What are my options?

"if" they want.  the support rep i was just talking to told me there was problem with my account, but could not tell me what, and pointed me to the wrong place for checking to see if i put in wrong birthdate.
    Brilliant!!

  • I am not able to access my icloud account as the apple id it defaults to no longer exists and when i try to use it by resetting the password it says email verification sent but I never receive anything.  It is hung up on verifying and I can not do a thing

The apple id I used to set up my ipad no longer exists and it is the same id for icloud and itunes.  I have changed my apple id but can not access my icloud account to change the id.  I am hung up on "verifying" and have tried everything.  It does not send any emails verification even though it says it has sent it.  I have trie the security questions and it says wrong birthdate but it is not the wrong birthdate.  I can not delete the account without a password and when I enter the password that was originally with that id it says wrong password.  As a result I am not able to update twitter, facebook, etc and basically unable to do anything until I can delete and reestablish this icloud account.

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • I forgot my password for my account and no longer have email address associated with it

I used to have an id for itunes that was associated with my old email.  I no longer have the old email and I cannot access my music that was associated with that account.  I tried to change the password but I am not able to.  for some reason when I put my birthdate in it tells me that it is the wrong birthdate.  What can I do?

Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address (you shouldn't need to verify the old account).  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • How to maintain Infotype 21

    Hi Experts,
We have a interface to third party system which sends Infotype 21 details.
We are facing a problem of sending duplicate record in the interface.
Upon investigation we came to know that users are creating mulitple record for same dependant.
Is there any standard way in there to distingush between them and find out the unique record. I know the field objps in PA0021 gives us this. Is there any other way?
    One more question.
Suppose one employee has a child and same record exists from say 01.01.2000 to 31.12.9999
The child is getting the SSN and employee wants to update the same in IT 21. He wants to create a new record with SSN.
So here what is the ideal way to create?
Copy the infotype record and add SSN with new validity date or cretae a new record with SSN.
Please keep in mind the objps field depends upon this copy or create.
    BR/Manas

Actually field objps for infotype 0021 is suposedly used to create new dependants for the same subtype, for example if you have 2 children, one should be 01 and the other 02 and so forth.
Since what you are saying is that people want to create new information but for the same dependant, there are 2 aproaches, one would be to consider this as new information from a particular date, then what you should do is create a new record by copying the previous and adding that new information, also delimiting the previous record, so that way you would have only one record valid for a given date. The other aproach is for example wrong information (wrong birthdate) and in that case it should be a modification of the valid record only, without creating a new one.
In both cases, the objps field should not change, since we are talking about the same dependant.

  • I am unable to remember my icould password, and cant reset it

when I try to reset the password my email address does not accept the password reset email and the security question of enter birthdaten states I have entered an incorrect date.(i'm entering my birthdate )  could the wrong birthdate have been initially entered?

    Hi Mark,

  • Create iCloud account for child - forced email address...

    Hi
Am about to bequeath a old iPhone to a child for their bus commutes.
The child is not yet 13. I have tried creating their iCloud account via the
iPhone setup process *and* creating the account from Family Sharing on
my iPhone. Both processes required me to create a child account because
    of the child's age.
In both cases, the account id is *forced* to be of the form [email protected]
That is, I cannot create their ID to be their email address, which is what I have
done for my wife and other children (we all have the same personal domain name
    for our email addresses).
    Summary:
Creating an iCloud account for 12 yo child. ID is forced to be [email protected]
not the preferred [email protected] Is that new? Any workarounds?
    Thank you.

Bottom line... I can't find any workarounds.
So the best solution is to simply enter the wrong birthdate.
You cannot later correct the birthdate UNTIL they are over 13.
