Wrong business policy to drive exisiting customers to compititor

I must say become loyal customer for Verizon for last 2 years ( my contract ended 1 year ago),  Verizon policys forces me to choose their compitior for services.
My bill is incresed from 99.99 to 109.99,  I guess punishment for becoming loyal !!!!!
New customer are getting 84.99 ( free installtion/free router/no anaul contract) or 99.99 (free SD setbox for life/free Multiroom DVR for year).
They send us nice letter to convey good news your price increses to 10 $ more/month!!!,  but hey if you want to renegotiate call us
1-88-582-0034. When you call, staff (including Managers) doesnot have power to do anyhting about renegotiate but reaffirm that your prices incresed and we can do nothing about it, but we may suggest disconnect our services for 90 days and comeback again, we will give you good prices !!!
No desire to work out any pricing options. What a joke !!!
No way to communicate upper management. Admin here posts talk to  live chat I already did that without any help.
I hope somebody responsible person scans thorugh this forum.

Optimum just offerred $69.95 mo for the triple play guaranteed for two years, free dvr & standard box for life and a free 8GB Ipod Touch. I think I'm gonna sign up. If VZ offers  a free DVR and free STB a year from now, then I may come back.

    You can supress the field Business area field in Field status Groups.
    For this follow the following steps
    Please check TCode OBC4 for field status variants
    > Goto G001 (General) Field status group
    >Additional Account Assignment
    > Click supress in front of business area.
    In that case, F-02 will not even ask for business area.
    Also check whether Business area FS is ticked in front of your company code in TCode OB65

  • Wrong business partner entered in the transaction

    Hi!
    Wrong business partner was used in securities contract and so many postings like valuation has already been executed/posted. Is there a transaction that would allow me to change the business partner used? Or should I perform migration steps by creating new contract?
    Would appreciate your suggestion on what's the best way to correct the wrong BP.

    Hi,
    Definitely you have to reverse the old transaction, else position show wrongly, and you are forced to reverse valuation as the positions are locked for that key date once valuation is performed, and it is locked with each date as and when you perform valuation. Otherwise, the cash flow managment (TPM13) much capable to adjust the cash flow dynamically once you change any previous period transaction data. So no need to reverse other flows, but to be in the safer side by taking back up of existing flows details to compile the new cash flow after changing the transaction.
    If your wrong transaction belongs to long back, better to convince the customer to make a note of that  and proceed further without changing it, instead of unnecessary reversals & rectification.

    I have created one project in that at project level in organization tab i have given Business Area B100 which is correct Business Area.
    When I created WBS Element in Assignment Tab i have entered Wrong Business Area which is B008.These WBS Elements already Budgeted & Released also these WBS Elements are Acct.Asignment Element.
    In this Business area field is also greayed so i can not change.
    Remaining WBS Elements having correct Business Area which is B100.
    Now i have to change Business Area B008 to B100
    How i can do this.

  • Business, Profits and Price Your customers out of your Market - Greed/ VZN Symbol of ?

    Let me state that Verizon has positioned themselves as a a leader in wireless technology but only seems to want the top tier customers (those who will pay for VZN services no mater what the cost is) and the rest of us, loyal or not, can leave and contract wireless service with the competition. This concept is unjustified when a company, like most, creates a system with excess capability so they can lease this "4G back-bone", which was designed to be available for the VZN customer base, to the competition for profit and recouping development and network roll-out costs. In other words we pay premium while the 3rd parties pay,  giving VZN super profits to make them number 1 in the wireless industry.
    Every high tech company that has their "business hat" on plans ahead to make money (from other business users) off of there venture, over and above their consumer base. This is done by selling, leasing, renting, etc the excess capacity that they planned and designed into there required technology needs (computers, storage capability, land lines/ terrestrial network, satellite capability, etc.).
    If you understand where I'm coming from, then why the hell are we being billed for something else when Verizon comes out with a new technology innovation? They charge us more because they make it so we have to have more, pricing for existing features are increased, new features made mandatory are added costs to us, and ironically the competitors in a short time can offer us a better overall plan. How can this be?
    I am upset because I am a disabled veteran living on a fixed income. My wife started using Verizon back in, or around 1998 and when I had to quit working in 2003 I added myself to her plan (no more company cell phone service). I don't make/earn $120K  a year anymore and Verizon doesn't care about loyalty (the new American way), they want the top tier customers who will pay what they charge. I was told today that I can cancel my service in April. I hope upper VZN management reads this before April and comes up with a plan for us all.
    Oh! I can't even get 3G where I am at and my voice reception is weak. Why should I pay for 4G ($30) a month when I couldn't get it anyway even if I could afford it.

    Did you sign a 2 year agreement?  Did Verizon give you a subsidized device?  If the answer to those questions is yes as I suppose it it, there is no reason that they should waive your ETF.  Verizon is a business, not a charity. 

  • FSCM-COL Business Partner Creation for Existing Customers

    Experts-
    After using MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT to create the initial load of Business Partners, there are a few Customers which are still missing Business Partners. Automatic Creation of Business Partners is set up and fully functioning for any new Customers created, however when attempting to use MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT for the existing Customers which are missing Business Partners the error message 'No transfer of interval for object BU_PARTNER' (Message no. NR028) is received.
    If the Automatic Creation of Business Partners is working correctly at the time of Customer Master creation, what would prevent the Business Partner from being created after the Customer already exists?
    Please let me know if further clarification is needed on what is outlined above.

    In case someone runs into a similar issue in the future, the resolution to this issue is provided below:
    In the case I've highlighted the customer had been created, yet the Business Partner failed to be created in the Automatic Business Partner Creation functionality initially due to a missed Tax Number Category configuration. Once this configuration was complete the BP still failed to create via XD02 or MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT. MDS_PPO2 gave the initial error message as 'Business partner ##1 does not exist' (Message no. R1201).
    Although the Customer to BP synchronization setting were set up for an external number range, the presence of contact persons in the Customer Master record were causing SAP to look for grouping data. Since no grouping data was present SAP was attempting to create BPs contact persons using the internal number range, which was already set at its limit.
    By removing the contact persons from the customer master via XD02 and then re-executing the MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT, the requested Business Partner was created. After that the contact persons were then re-maintained in the customer master.

    I'm working on a new Ultra 10 that came with two hard drives and
    pre-installed SunOS 7. I accidentally removed some configuration
    files and re-installed 5.8 BetaRefresh. Now the second hard drive
    is invisible to the OS. I would appreciate any pointers to have

    Update: The drive was reformatted on another g5 10.5 system and worked when I placed it back in my system. This leads me to believe that my install of 10.5 needs to be wiped clean and re-installed.

  • Oracle 8i DATE column returned wrong with 9i thin driver

    I have an Oracle 8i database with a column named "timestamp" with the following column metadata:
    DATA_TYPE=93
    TYPE_NAME=DATE
    I execute the following statement:
    select "timestamp" from oracle_data_log
    When I look at the result set metadata using the Oracle 9i drivers, I get (as expected):
    getColumnType=93
    getColumnTypeName=DATE
    getColumnClassName=java.sql.Timestamp
    When I look at the result set metadata using the Oracle 9i drivers, I get:
    getColumnType=91
    getColumnTypeName=DATE
    getColumnClassName=java.sql.Timestamp
    That column type 91 indicates it is SQL type DATE which is for date only values (no time information).
    Our code (working against many different databases with many different drivers) works off the column type metadata and messes up. (Obviously I can look at the column class name string as well / instead, but I'd like the column type to come back with the proper SQL type.)
    As I said, it works as expected with the 8i thin driver (and the DataDirect JDBC driver).

    It seems to me that returning a SQL type DATE (which means it only stores date information) for an Oracle DATE type (which stores date and time information) is the wrong thing to do. The Oracle DATE type stores date and time information which corresponds to the SQL TIMESTAMP type. It should return TIMESTAMP as the SQL type.
    It seems like it would confuse a client application into thinking there is no time information available, which there is.
    A friend suggested that since a SELECT on a DATE value only displays the date portion and not the time portion, that might be why they did it, but that still doesn't sound right. The Oracle DATE type stores date and time which corresponds to the SQL TIMESTAMP type.
    I guess they might have done it to distinguish between Oracle DATE and TIMESTAMP types, but I still don't like it...
    I wonder if there is any documentation on why Oracle made the decision?

    In service PO, i have taken cost center 3000, in KS02 for 3000, business area is 3000.when i have did the Sevice sheet Acceptence(ML81) business area (1000) is picking wrong for the  GR/IR g/l. when i did the miro, in business area field i have given 3000, but when i am doing Miro simulation, against the G/R g/L business area (1000).
    check the same scenario in development is coming properly and patched is also the same on ll the cleint.
    I have check business area assignment in enterprise structure, okb9,
    Kinldy suggest what are the area to check.

    while posting vendor invoice, business place and section code was given wrong.payment was made aganist this invoice.but later we found that we have given businee place wrong.when i went and try to change business place by using FBR2 tocde its creating a new document.when i look at vendor line items system is showing two line items. i cant reverse the first document since i made payment.how to correct business plance.any inputs in this regards are highly rewarded

  • Extending exisiting customers to New Sales org in ECC

    Hi All,
    We have existing sales org:2000 with so many customers created. Now as a business requirement we would like to create same customers with same customer numbers from Sales org :2000  to new sales org eg: 1000.
    We tried XD99 but it can be done with reference to only one customer. But in our case we have different customers for Sales org 2000 and we would like extended one to one with same customer number to sales org 1000.
    Please note : We don't want to use LSMW.
    Please let me know how this can be achieved.

    We tried XD99 but it can be done with reference to only one customer
    I dont know how you were telling that through XD99, you can change only for one customer which is not quite true.  You can mass update there also.  In fact, once you execute XD99, system by default, will have a green tick on "Data Records to be Changed".   You have to select the next tab "Data Records to be created"  and maintain the required sales area to which those customers needs to be extended.  You can also achieve this via MASS.

    when donwloading CUSTOMER_MAIN from R/3 to CRM
    Where is determined that the business partner in CRM should be created in the business partner category 'Person'?
    We have the problem that all our business partners in CRM are now 'Organizations' (but were sold-to-parties in R/3 with account group DEBI)
    PIDE - setting is:
    R/3 account group DEBI  ---> classisifaction 'B' ('Customer')
    In the customizing of the business partner roles for the role type CRM000 (and for all the others) Organization, Person and Group is all allowed by default.
    The download itself and the number ranges work fine.

    The reason for the problem is unknown but a workaround is to first initial load BUPA_MAIN instead of CUSTOMER_MAIN, then the right business partner category is taken by the system

  • What's wrong with my disc drive?

    It won't play or burn discs. It always spits them back out at me. If i try to watch a movie i have to keep inserting it over and over again until it takes it, if it takes it and forget backing up anything onto disc. If i finally get a cd in and it tells me it burned if i insert it into another computer it says blank like nothing copied. Is it reparable? can i fix it, and if so how?

    How old is the drive?
    It sounds like it has given up the ghost, or nearly so.
    The slot-loaders are not the most robust of devices, to say the least.  You might run your Apple Hardware Test disc on the machine, but probably a replacement of the optical is in your future.

  • What's wrong with my hard drive?

    The Problem:
    Lately I've been noticing that my iMac has been slower to warm up, as it were. Logging in as normal I notice that the hard drive is taking a lot of time to settle down, up to 2 minutes of constant activity after the destop has appeared. It just sounds like normal access (i.e. it doesn't sound like mechanical failure or anything), but it does go on a bit and attempting to launch apps during this time results in many icon bounces, the dreaded beach ball and very, very slow apps until the disk activity dies down. Also, once said activity has died down launching apps still isn't the fastest - e.g. Safari, lots of disk activity as the app launches, lots more activity when I click on a folder link on the bookmarks bar, followed by a pause, then the folder list appears.
    Of the 250GB there is currently 90GB free.
    What I have done so far:
    Disk Utility - Verified disk, repaired disk permissions.
    Checked the SMART status - A-OK.
    Used Disk Warrior to repair disk permissions/check files & folders and rebuilt the directory.
    Even after all the above the disk still seems to be overactive at startup. Normal operation is smooth enough.
    Any ideas what could be going on? Is it a hard drive thing? An OS X thing? A memory thing? (I don't know how to test the memory).
    Notes:
    I'm a switcher (since April 06) so I'm still learning OS X.
    I do install/uninstall lots of trial apps (I use AppZapper).
    There are just 3 Login items in System Prefs > Accounts.
    iMac Intel CD 17", 1.83, 1GB, 250GB   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Through that site I learned that I am most likely having memory issues. The disk thrashing I'm hearing is a result of OS X making lots of use of the paging file. Using the information on this page it seems that I have quite a lot of pageins and pageouts activity. Here is a sample from my iMac:
    PhysMem: 145M wired, 400M active, 316M inactive, 863M used, 160M free
    VM: 9.67G + 72.3M 70631(0) pageins, 38365(0) pageouts
    Something as simple as scrolling through my Apps folder in Finder can produce lots of activity and I've seen the (0) figures get as high as 1000, albeit briefly. and while using an app.
    But I am at a loss as to why this should be happening, and why it has only started happening in the last few weeks. Is there any way to test the installed RAM? Any other suggestions for things to test?
