Multipass F30 has error message "check printer" then "wrong cartridge".  When I open the lid the printhead does not move to center.  Manually moved and replaced cart with 2 new black carts. No change. removed power for 15 minutes. No change. What do I do next?

  • Printhead stuck to right with clicking noise. Error message: Wrong cartridge.

Multipass MP390 now has printhead stuck to the right.  Error message - Check printer  - wrong cartridge.  When I attempt to use or clean (through additional functions-maintenance) it sounds like the printhead moves, but it doesn't and then I receive a click, click, click noise.  Is this printer doomed?  Any way to reset the printhead?   Will the scanner/fax continue to work if the printer/copier can not?

    Hi JBrennan,
Repair service via a Canon Authorized Service Facility is no longer available for this product, but please feel free to take the printer to a local service facility of your choice for repair.
We also have other options available to you; please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page for more servicing options.

  • HP Deskjet 1510 Tri-color Ink Cartridge Error

I just bought a HP Deskjet 1510 back in August and I loaded the HP original ink cartridges that come with the purchase. For the first 5 print jobs it was working well, but somehow after a while my laptop and the printer itself just kept warning that there's low ink level in the cartridges (especially the tri-color one). I haven't even got to use the tri-color cartridge much as I've been printing in grayscale ever since I've used this printer.
I've tried taking the cartridge out and putting it back in again; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I thought it might be a contact issue so I cleaned those parts too but it didn't change anything.
It's getting extremely frustrating as I'll have to do this for god knows how many times for every single page I print or copy. This happens to the black cartridge too but 90% of the time it's the tri-color cartridge.
    Please help.
    Thanks.

Hello @ut32w , and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I hope you had a great holiday!
I understand from reading your post that you are running into cartridge errors.  I'd like to help!
I would first suggest removing the ink cartridges, and performing a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also recommend running through the steps listed in the document below:

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-All-in-One - N911n cartridge errors

Please help! I have an Officejet Pro 8600 all in one that is just over a year old, just out of warrenty... We don't use it much and so just had to change the ink cartridges for the first time. Once they were changed out, the printer gave me the warning that there is a cartridge error and that the Cyan failed. Even though it was a brand new cartridge, I bought another one and changed it again. I still get the same error message with the 2nd new one. I have been through everything on the HP website for troubleshooting this problem and nothing works! Please, does anyone have anything else I can do????

Sorry to hear you are still having this problem. So the yellow was out and you replaced the yellow and then the cyan failed?
Printers when left not used for some time, may have printhead issue, but if it's not even recognizing the cartridge, then more likely a hardware or board issue that may need professional service.
One thing you can try is to update the firmweare (if not already), http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL41945/bi-101905-5/OJP8600_N911a_R1322C.exe

  • How do I fix Cartridge Error and flashing light message on my 4215xi all-in-one? I use windows 8.1

This equipment was working just fine after I installed a re-filled black ink cartridge.   A few days later I began to get a flashing light with the message: Cartridge Error. See Product Documentation for details.   Sometimes my computer said the printer was offline when it wasn't.   I have also had occasional cartridge door open messages when the door was closed.    I have removed the two cartrdges, cleaned them with water by using a coffee filter as  a swab.  I have also uninstalled and, I think, reinstalled the software printer driver, but I am not entirely certain as to that.

    Hi there @donpablitosan!
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!
I would be happy to help in regards to the flashing lights and cartridge error on the printer.  You had also mentioned that the computer sometimes shows the printer offline or door open errors.  I should be able to help with that as well!
The first thing I suggest is to plug the printer into the wall outlet directly if it is currently in a power surge protector or extension cord.  This may sound silly but this will ensure the printer is getting full power and may eliminate any unnecessary troubleshooting.  If the printer is no longer getting full power from the power surge or extension cord it may give false errors or have poor connection and paper feed issues.
From what I can find it looks like you have done all the troubleshooting regarding the cartridge itself.  If you have tried the above suggestion and are still getting the same issue then you may need to try another cartridge to see if the issue is coming from the printers hardware or the cartridge.
Thanks again for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Wrong Name Error

    Hi,
I created a package in eclipse with 3 .java files under it.
In each of the three java files I have included the "package testpackage;" clause at the top.
My first 2 files (lets call them one.java and two.java) is referenced in three.java, thus I use the import statement for both one and two in three.java.
After I compile all 3 successfully in Eclipse, I go to the command line, to the specific directory (testpackage) and run: java one, but I get the message:
    NoClassDefFoundError: 1 (wrong name: testpackage/one)
    What is wrong?

I found that you need to be in the PACKAGE directory when you execute the "java" command, not the directory containing the .class file(s). For example, if you have the following statement in your java program:
    package buServer;
Your .class files (BUreceiver.class in my case) will reside in a directory named buServer. You need to be in the directory ABOVE the one that contains your class files (the package directory) and execute the program as shown below:
    java buServer/BUreceiver
The above assumes that the current directory is in your CLASSPATH or is given by the " -cp ." on the java command line.
The basic problem, I think, is that CLASSPATH points to directories that are supposed to contain .class files. When you use a package, you have to give the fully quallified name of the class with a root beginning in one of the directories in the CLASSPATH. In my case, the "package" statement says my class should be in a <CLASSPATH>\buServer\ directory. When I was in the buServer directory (containing my .class files) and added it to the CLASSPATH, there was no <CLASSPATH>\buServer\ directory, since the buServer\ directory was inside CLASSPATH. However, when I tried to execute it without qualifying it with the "buServer", it saw the package statement in the class file that was there and gave me the "wrong name" error.
Another solution would have been to take out the package statement from the program.

  • Check print cartridge error

I installed a new black cartridge in my HP PSC 1410 All-in-One.  It printed a sheet to align the cartridges, but it won't scan, and I can't find HP Utilities or Scan or Toolbox on my MAC.
I tried taking one cartridge out, then the other.  That did not help.  I also tried turning everything off, no luck.  The only thing that happened was the printer printed another aligning sheet.
    Any suggestions??
    Thanks

    Hello apgrams,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you're receiving a few problems with the PSC 1410. I will do my best to assist you! What is your operating system on your Mac computer? Click here to find out.
Are you still receiving "Check Print Cartridges" error?
Is this alignment sheet missing colors? If not, then please follow these steps:
    1) Remove all ink cartridges from the printer, then close the door
    2) Remove the power cord from the printer (Do not press the power button)
    3) Wait 60 seconds or more, then plug the power cord back in
    4) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges
    5) Try to print another alignment page

whether my oracle's version 11.2.0.1 has no the RDBMS bug fix, and other  problems? Thanks

Oracle R Enterprise 1.1. requires Oracle Database 11.2.0.3, 11.2.0.4. On Linux and Windows.  Oracle R Enterprise can also work with an 11.2.0.1 or 11.2.0.2 database if it is properly patched.
Embedded R execution will not work without a patched database.  Follow this procedure to patch the database:
    1. Go to My Oracle Support:http://support.oracle.com
    2. Log in and supply your Customer Support ID (CSI).
    3. Choose the Patches & Updates tab.
    4. In the Patch Search box, type 11678127
    and click Search
    5. Select the patch for your version of Oracle Database, 11.2.0.1.
    6. Click Download to download the patch.
    7. Install the patch using OPatch. Ensure that you are using the latest version of OPatch.
