Wrong data values displayed for YTD in reports

Hi,
In my reports when i try to select measures as YTD, eg. March 2010 YTD, i get wrong values for entities. But, apart from YTD, i get absolutely correct values if i select measures as anually, quarterly or monthly.
I have checked ISBEGINNING property in time dimension and assigned values as 0 and 1 for the respective values. I have also checked if i have any wrong statements in dbo.measureformula in SQL server Management studio which might give wrong calculations but could not find any.
Please guide me through.

Data not displayed for Key Figure of MultiProvider

Hi Folks,
I have created a Query on MultiProvider which is actually copied from another Query(based on InfoCube) using RSZC. Now I have the problem with display of data for a KeyFigure in report. No data is displayed for the KeyFigure. The MultiProvider has Two InfoCubes where the KeyFigure is related to one of the two Cubes. The data is shown at the MultiProvider level. I have also checked for a new query on the same MultiProvider. Here too the data is shown in the report for the KeyFigure. But it's not showing in the Query which is copied from another.
Any assistance on the same is really appreciated.

Are there any advantages to using a Data Value Reference for LabVIEW Classes?

I recently came across an example where the developer had used a data value reference for the class cluster in LabVIEW.
What are the advantages of doing this?
Doesn't the use of LV objects already avoid the creation of multiple copies of data thereby reducting memory usage?

LabVIEW's OOP is implemented as a By Value. This means, as Tst stated, branches in wires could mean copies in the object. The DVR is a way to make it By Reference.

How to control the data to display for every users?

Hello Experts,
Im creating a module in ORACLE forms6i and I want to control all the data to display for every USERs. I have 1 Table and it has 5 columns.
My module has 5 columns and 5 rows of records to display.
Problems:
For USER1, I want to display all DATA in column3 and column4 only and all remaining columns shoud be null.
For USER2 , I want to dislplay all data in Column1 only and all remaining columns should be null.
How can i control all the data to display for each columns? Can you help me please. Im using the Clear_Items but its not working only the first row are null but the remaining
rows has its records.

I understand that you want certain columns not to show at all on the canvas when a certain user opens the form. Then, in the when-new-form-instance trigger, you should set_item_property(x_item, visible, property_false) for each item you do not want to be dislayed, depending on the user.

Wrong album art displaying for songs on my iPod Classic.

I am having a problem with my 160GB classic iPod. (6th gen. I believe, it's the first 160GB iPod to be released.)
It doesn't happen a lot, but I noticed wrong album art displaying for my songs on my iPod. Then when I check in itunes, the album art is correct. Also, I manually manage my music and videos. So when I check the album art from my ipod's hard-drive through itunes, the album art is correct as well.
I believe the problem happens when the iPod itself tries to find the album art images for the current song being played. It somehow gets jumbled and puts up a random album art image instead of the one it is supposed to.
One thing i noticed is this. Lets say I shuffle all my songs. Once I get up to a song with wrong album art, I skip pass it lets say about 5-10 songs, then I go back to it. The album art often corrects itself, and the right album art is displayed.
I looked around the forums here and see that other people are having similar problems with different kinds of iPods. Maybe it's a firmware issue?

I'm having the exact same issue on my iPod Classic. Haven't used this forum before - do experts provide feedback, or do we just hope that another user can suggest a cure? I haven't reformatted my iPod yet - huge pain, as I also manually manage my music - but will do that if no other solutions present themselves.

Default value don't get displayed for Fetch XML report

Hi All;
i have a date parameter in a fetch XML report
i set its default value as 01/01/2010
when i run this report in SSRS i can see the default value of the date
But when the same report gets displayed on CRM 2013 online - report section the date default value dont get displayed
Any help for this much appreciated

I am afraid that you have mixed the WCF and WCF Data Service, here is a WCF Service example(it works with the Entity Framework while it is not WCF Data Service):

No Data to display in Application failure report for a specific Application

Hi ,
For a specific application,Application failure report showing no data to display but for the same application other reports shows value.
Application failure reports seems to work fine for some other application except few.Need to know the root cause.
Kindly help us to sort this issue.

Is there any error message when you run Application Failure Analysis report for the specific application?
Does this application have any failure alerts?
You may also look into operation manager even logs to check is there any errors or warnings.

Document Summary, wrong values displayed for not persistent prompt

Some prompt values displayed on the document summary portion of the document properties area are displaying incorrect values.
It looks like non persistent prompts are showing the value of the prompt listed just before the non_persistent prompt, instead of the value entered by the user.
eg: persistent prompt 'enter code', user enters 1234
non persistent prompt 'enter date', users enters 1/2/2008
display in document summary:
code - 1234
date - 1234
Is this a known issue with Webi? I imagine it is not an issue with the report, but if so, please let me know if there is something I can do to correct it.

Wrong data in cube for time dependent nav attribute

Hi Experts,
I am facing a strange problem.
One of the navigational attr used in one cube was not time dependent before.
Now we have changed it to time dependent.
But after that the cube is fetching wrong data for the nav attr.
In the Master data table (Q table) data is fine.

Hi Debjani,
As Federico said, when you display the content of the cube (or when you execute a query) you enter the reference date on which the time-dependant attribute will be searched. This unique reference date will be used whatever the cube data is.
Ex :if the reference date is 2010/02/14, you will have the time-dep attribute value for 2010/02/14,for 2011 data, 2010 data or whatever.
If you want to change dynamically the reference date depending on a date on the cube, things become a lot more difficult. The only possibility I can think of is "virtual characteristics" (you will find a lot of litterature on the subject on sdn).

The below mentioned debug facility works in plsqldevloper but the same does not work in sqldeveloper both on 10g and 11g Oracle Database
Has anyone enocuntered this bug as smart data value / tooltip not displayed in sub proc while debug in
sqldeveloper 3.0.02
tooltip and values are dispalyed during debug in v_var1 but as u debug further to (sub procedure within the main procedure code) i.e procedure test1 ,values of v_var2 not being displayed in tool tip / smart data value until the debugger cursor comes out the sub procedure . Kindly replicate the example shown below in sqldevloper EA2

SAP Dashboards - Area graph- Data values display - x-axis 1st value is not showing

Not able to show the first data value in area graph. 2500 is not showing in the chart...remaining values able to display...

Your question has the answer. When we display same data in line chart or bar chart, you have the space to start displaying the value. But in this case the area chart will accumulate the whole chart to show the lagging & leading data from the start to end, so you cannot view the initial value to display. If this chart doesn't suits your requirement you can go with other charts.
The workaround will be like, if the month's are static like will you be displaying all twelve months in this chart then i would request you to take twelve text components in top of the chart or in any comfortable space where you can bind those value.

Wrong date value in Essbase ASO cube

Hi All,
I'm trying to load a date value in mm-dd-yy format into an Essbase ASO cube. I'm using is a txt tab delimited file. The load rule is working fine. The outline properties is set with the proper format "mm-dd-yy". I loaded the data and when I retrieve the data using Smart View I see all the dates decreased by one day in my Smartview report.
Would you have any ideas why that is happening?

to understand ValueFormat and DisplayFormat, you can refer this example from ui5 testsuite sap.m.DateTimeInput and check the source code.
in one of the example, this is how valueformat and displayformat is used.

To restrict the number of data columns displayed in BW Web report

In the corresponding Bex query i am using 'Start Time' characteristic in the row. In the BW Web template i don't want the 'Start Time' to be displayed when i execute.
I tried to restrict the number of data columns displayed in the web item table properties but that did not help

Hi Mala,
You can try out the following: Create a view on your query and in that view remove the Start Time char from the drilldown. Use this view as a data provider in the web template.

How to get shared date value from subreport to main report

Hi,
I need your help in passing the value of a running total that is located in the subreport to the main report. The running total in the subreport is getting the maximum of the Effective Date (which it is type in the database is date) for each group and it is value will change on the change of the sequence no. group. I am printing the value at the group footer which displayed correctly. Now my issue is that how to pass the value from the subreport to the main report as a date. I have created a formula that it is having the code:
shared datevar ddd := date(0,0,0);
ddd:={RTotl0}
The above formula is not compiled and it is first giving me an error at line 1 that date(0,0,0) is not accepted. Then when I removed it, it gave me an error that ddd:= can't have a running total to a datevar.
So can you please help in getting the value from the subreport and then to pass it to the main report as a formula as I need to include it in other formulas which it compares the dates.

Are you displaying the shared variable on the Main Report's group footer as well?
Try changing the code to:
