Wrong email address for account verification

When trying to "verify my account/reward points total/link my rewards card to the account" I get a window thats states..."You're Almost Done...Please check your email. We've sent a verification email to:" and then, an old email address that I haven't had in years. And, all of the "change your email" windows have the correct address. How do I change the direction of the verification emails?

I have looked over your My Best Buy account and it appears to already be linked to a BestBuy.com account, which is probably associated with your old email address. I would be more than happy to help delink those two accounts and make sure that your information on file is accurate. I just upgraded my MacBook from OS X 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion so that I could stream from my other devices (iPhone and iPad) to my MacBook. After making it through the upgrade process, I realized that I used the wrong email address for my iCloud username when starting up on the MacBook. My iPhone, iPad, and iTunes are under my Hotmail email address and I accidently used my Gmail email address for the MacBook. Is there any way I can merge these two icloud accounts together? I tried changing my account information to add the other email address, but wasn't allowed because another account was using the name (duh). If I can't merge them, how could I change the MacBook from the Gmail address to the Hotmail address so that all my devices are on the same icloud account? It'd be nice if I could keep the free 5GB of storage that comes with my purchase of the software, but I'd rather lose the storage than not be able to stream.

To change accounts on your Mac, go to System Preferences, sign out of the current account, then sign into the new account. When you sign out of the current account it will delete synced data from your Mac. Assuming your data (such as contacts, calendars, etc.) is in the other iCloud account, it will be synced to your Mac when you sign into this account.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple throughiTunes Store Support.

Using email addresses for account ids

Has anyone used email addresses for account and customer ids in Portal? The concern is that people may change email addresses frequently, but we don't want to lose their history and profile info, but we want their login to be easy to remember.
Alternatively, we could have people enter their email address, then go look for the corresponding account id and use that to authenticate them. Anyone have any input on this approach, pro or con?

input on this approach, pro or con?Sounds reasonable to me but you when you post questions like this your bound to get all sorts of opinions.
I would suggest seperating your authentication and tracking specifications. You should not rely on variable values to track user history.
Usersnames may change whether or not the username is a valid email address. The use an "internal" id for users that is not dependent on the current username, email etc. That way the user can change these as required and you don't loose all your history and tracking data.

How did you try to contact Support ? You should be able to contact Support in your country, who should be able to reset your questions, via the link/number for your country on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

Stuck in set up off iPad Air entered in wrong email address for icloud account

i have just bought a brand new iPad Air my daughter was helping set it up for the first time - straight out the box and typed in the wrong email address - she left out a b in the email address. she noticed straight away but now we cant find a way to change the email address it seems locked in. we are not even finished with the set up process. we keep going to start over and we start by choosing region etc but then when we get to enter in the Apple ID thats already filled in and the only option is to give a password but the password is for a different email address. please help how can i go back to factory mode and completely start the process again. as i said we are in the middle of set up havent even gotten past the Apple ID

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

When I created my apple Id for itunes i gave a wrong email address. I have also forgotten the answer to the seccurity questions and the password for my Id. since I gave a wrong recovery email address it is impssible to get my password. How else can I get my passpword?

It looks like your printer isn't on the list of air print enabled printers. It'll still work, you just need to do some tweaking.
You can see if samsung has any apps to enable printing.
or
You can look into a third party app like Print n Share or Print Central.
Then you can print from your iPad.

What exactly do you want to sync? Ideally, each phone should use its own Apple ID to keep contacts, messages, etc. separate. You wouldn't want to share your contacts and have him accidentally delete one off of his phone which would remove from yours as well.
If you want to share apps, you can do that by having him log out of iTunes & App Store and logging in with your ID on that app only.

I am trying to use my Creative Cloud trial but am super frustrated. The verification code keeps getting sent to my boss's personal email account rather than my personal email account. This is a huge problem as I would like to use Creative Cloud for personal use, not business related. His email is not listed anywhere on my account as an email address or alternate email address. How can this be corrected? I need to receive the verification code to the email address I specified, have no idea why that is not working.

Hi Everyone
I have just received my new IPOD (never used one before) I have set up an apple id using the IPOD but I inputted 1 wrong letter from my email address and I didnt get my verification email to complete set up. I changed my apple ID using my PC but it has not registered on my ipod that Ive updated my ID, now I cant use any apps on the IPOD as it is asking for my password but not the option to change the incorrect email address I submitted originally. Hope this makes sense and that some one can help me :-(

I already had an Apple id for itunes and have bought the iphone 6 when i went to icloud and entered the same email address (or so i thought) i can't verify the icloud account as it's says "[email protected]" and i should have used "[email protected]" Any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm a 56 year old mum.
