Wrong email password to send photos

I entered my email to send pictures from iphoto, but the wrong password. How can I change it to the correct password?

iPhoto Menu -> Preferences -> Accounts.
Delete the entry for email there, and then recreate it.

I am a new mac user and just got a mac recently. I tried to send a photo in an email and when it asked for my email address and password, I mistakenly entered the wrong password and now I can't get it to do anything. I saw this same question somewhere else, and the answer was to to go iphoto preferences and make the change there. But, I can't find any preferences for iphoto anywhere on my computer. The path is in iPhoto - iPhoto menu ==> preferences ==> accounts - select the problem account and edit it
also iPhoto has this neat feature called "HELP" - go to the help menu in iPhoto nad type account and select the e-mailing photos entry
Email your photos
You can email photos directly from iPhoto, using themes (designs) that beautifully arrange your photos. Each theme includes placeholder text that you can edit to add descriptions, captions, or other text alongside the photos.
If you want recipients to be able to use the photos you send, rather than simply view them, you can attach the photo files to your email message. Recipients can then download the photos from the email message and print them, use them in their own projects, and so on.

Email your photos
You can email up to 10 photos (however, some of your recipients might use Internet service providers that don’t accept messages over a certain size).
If you use the Mail application included with Mac OS X, iPhoto automatically uses the first account in Mail Accounts preferences to email your photos. You can set up different iPhoto Mail accounts and choose which one to use when you send the email.

.mac email: can't send photos, my password is refused mail sent to OUTBOX.

I start in iPhoto and choose 4 photos to send, then type a short message. I click send from my mac.com email and get a request for a password. I type in my password and get "password not valid" reply. the mail goes to "OUTBOX" and sits there. I have resent these from the outbox over and over again. I get and send text messages with .Mac just fine.
I am using a MacBook Pro 15 inch dual processor.
I called the u.s.a. Apple Protection phone # on 011907 and was told by Jeremy to reset my password, that didn't help. He then offered that he could not do anything and I should search the Apple sites. I asked if he would extend the Protection Plan for the time since Nov. 17, 2006 that this is happining. He said that's not his department.
CAN anyone help???

I have a .Mac account. When I choose to send photo's from iPhoto, they open in a draft in the Apple Mail program. Is this what you do? If your using the Mail program and .Mac, are you able to send any other mail? If not your settings are incorrect.
Open Mail. On the Toolbar choose Mail-Preferences, and click Accounts. Under Account Information:
Account Type: .Mac
Description: [email protected]
Email address: [email protected]
Full Name: Your name
Incoming Mail Server: mail.mac.com
User Name: msmyczek
Password: Your Password
Outgoing Mail Server
Click on the drop down box. Choose Add Server
In the Outgoing Mail Server, you need to put in what that is, and you should have this information from your internet provider. Mine for instance is smtp.west.cox.net. Leave Authentification blank. Leave the Password field blank. Click OK. Then close out of Accounts. It wil ask you to Save changes.

Removing email sugesstion for sending photos

Hi,
I'm posting this because I'm nearly going nuts every time I send a captured photo by using my N86's built in photo sending option (I view the image and in the toolbar select Send with the envelope icon).
I choose to send my photo by email, and when I get to entering the email adress, I get 2 suggestions for email adresses - my old email adress and my new one. This is annoying because I quite often by accident pick the old email adress (the adresses are almost the same) from the list and can't understand why I don't receive my photo, until I check and find out I sent it to the wrong adress
Is there some way to remove these suggestions? And how?
Hope some of you here can help - thanx in advance.

The email adress isn't for a contact - I have just typed it in when I wanted to send a photo to my email adress.
The thing is, I get 2 suggestions when I start typing my email adress when I want to send a photo. One suggestion is for my current adress, the other suggestion for my former, which I don't use anymore.
The adress I use now is the one I use for my mail box on the phone. The other (the old adress) has never been used on the phone besides when I have been sending photos by viewing the image in Photos and then selecting Send (the envelope icon) and send Via e-mail.

there is no password requirement for iPhoto - you probably are seeing an incorrect password for your email - in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete and rented your email account

How can I use Thunderbird email client to send photos

Hi,
I am having lots of problems trying to send photos PSE8 with Outlook Express and Outlook and really don't use either of them for regular email. How can I edit the sharing "Choice" to allow Thunderbird? Anything in the Registry to edit? I don't want to reload XP, going back to an earlier install just to get Outlook back working. Too many wondows updates to make sense of that.
And if it can't be done, when will Adobe PSE8 give us a patch to add more email client choices for their user base?

I have 2 email accounts on my phone. Currently it sends photos from my business account. I want it to send from my personal account. Any way to switch this?

You need to change which email account is the default. Go to Settings -> Mail -> Default Account and choose your personal account. This will now be the default account whenever an account is not specified; i.e. sending links from Safari, emailing photos, etc. To send an email from your Business account you'll need to enter mail, touch the business account, and then choose to create a new email.

Wrong email address when sending a photo out of Photo app

Hi all,
when sending a photo on my iPhone 4 out of the photo app and selecting a "from" email address (like [email protected]), the photo get's sent through an email address (like [email protected]). The [email protected] is configured in the settings just as calendar, no emails, no notes.
This is so strange! Has anybody a glimpse of a notion how to get rid of this problem?

You can try resetting network settings then all settings. Goto Settings>General>Reset>Reset network settings or all settings. You will need Appleid and Wifi to reenter after reset. If that is not working then go settings>mail contacts calendars>tap account>delete. Now tap add account and reenter it.

Hi I just sold my ipad. My wife's icloud was logged in on it. Now she forgot the password to icloud account and it sends the email for forgot password to an email that is no longer in service or can't retrieve password to.. Any help would be great

IPad says wrong email password then it's ok

My iPad was working fine for the past month, no issues. I have three (3) email accounts set up, and they were working just fine. Couple days ago, I got pop up saying the password was incorrect on all three accounts. I ignored it and checked mail on my iMac before going out. Returned 3 hours later, and mail updated and was fine. Today, it did the same thing... Said it couldn't retrieve mail because the password was incorrect. Just checked, and now it's downloading mail ok. What gives? I'm using a brand new Apple AirPort Extreme on my wifi.

If you have entered a security code that is not recognized as being correct too many times, you will be unable to use that iCloud keychain. You can contact Apple Support who will verify your identity so that you may continue to attempt to use that code. If this is not successful you will need to set up iCloud Keychain again. Changing email address to send photos

I have Photoshop Album 2.0 SE running on a reasonably standard Windows XP machine with Outlook Express and Outlook installed. I have just tried selecting each of Outlook, Outlook Express and Hotmail from the drop down list in Edit > Preferences > Email and each one works exactly as planned opening the requested application. So as two suggestions - can you deliberately select, for example Hotmail, check that and then re-select the application you want it to send with. Alternatively, can I suggest that you backup your catalog and then uninstall and reinstall Photoshop Album 2.0 SE.

When trying to send a group of photos the e-mail requested my password. Apparently I gave it the wrong one. When I tried to resend, it doesn't ask for a password, just gives me this message, "The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination." How do I fix the problem? I tried I-Photo help, but it says "NOT available." I'm getting VERY frustrated since my I-Book G-4 NEVER did such "STUPID" things like ask for a password to send photos!!!
I tried sending single photo, but get the same message.
Also, my e-mail is NOT @bellsouth.net. It is @icloud.com I tried to change it but couldn't. How do I change it on this site. I tried to edit my info, but couldn't change the e-mail!!

says my email username/password combination are wrong and won't send photos in email. My username and password combination are correct. So, not sure what to do next. All parameters are configured the same as I have in Mail app, which works

IMHO the better course is to set Mail as the iPhoto email client in the iPhoto preferences

To follow Larry's advice, select your email account in the list of accounts and click the "-" button to remove the account:
