Wrong GL Default on PO

Hi All,
Pls advise on the below.
When a Purchase Order is created off a Work Order, the system is currently determining what GL Account to default.
Amount under $100 is set to GL Acct 410000 and over $100 is set to GL Acct 401200.
Dollar amt under $100 is expected to default to 410000
Dollar amt over  $100 is expected to default to 401200
Instead every PO defaulting into GL Account 410000 including the dollar amt over $100.
Pls advise on how to make this change to enable dollar amt over $100 defaulting to gl acct 401200.
Regards
Femmy John.

Thank you Preeti for the quick response.
Although I took some of the steps below but just confirming if am doing the right thing.
1. TCode OMSK (Define Valuation Class).
2. TCode OMQW (Entries aids for items without a material master)
3. TCode OME9 (Maintain Account Assignment Category) Here I copied K
4. TCode OMG0 (Define the combination of items categories/ account assignment categories)
5. TCode OBYC (Automatic Account Assignment Configuration) where I selected GBB to maintain the GL Acct 401200.
Although I have introduced these to the customer but I just want to confirm if this is a right step.
Thank you.

  • Something is wrong with default mail account. Mail ignores the default one and uses another.

Hi! I use two accounts on Mail: @gmail.com and @mail.ru. The @mail.ru is used as default. So all answers have to be sent from mail.ru, however it is not - they go from @gmail.com. What is wrong?

When I reply to emails that were sent to my business account, Mail automatically responds using my .mac email address. It will not reply using my business account.
Very frustating and time consuming, having to go to the drop-down menu of email accounts, select my business account and then reply.
Did not work this way before the "upgrade."
Any solutions from anyone or from Apple??

  • Wrong VM default timezone

My JRE works with a wrong default timezone and I can't figure out where the problem is!
Windows XP shows the correct timezone (CEST) but JRE 1.5.0 returns GMT for the default timezone (correspondingly "user.timezone = GMT" in system properties). As a consequence I get 2 hours late display for localized time strings.
I have reinstalled JRE but it didn't help. I'ld like to know how JVM receives its timezone information and how I can change it. Any help appreciated!

I found a workaround to solve this problem.
Recently, my computer was changed. So i restored my working java installation and received a little mess with java timezone.
First i was throwed to America/Caracas. My first try to go back brazilian timezone was adding -Duser.timezone=GMT-3 to all java calling. This bored me because i'm using Eclipse, Tomcat, Maven, etc. There were so many places to change. I thought that i could find a better solution.
Then i tried to add this parameter through java control panel and faced another problem: even when i filled up the argument in java control panel, the next time this field was blank. The reason was my java installation restoring - I copied the old installation to another directory without installing. So i removed all jdk's and jre's from the new machine and installed only jdk1.6.0_16.
I was throwed to another timezone after installed the new jdk and filled the user.timezone argument. This time to Asia/Karachi. When i was almost giving up, i called someone with admin rights on my Windows XP installation to check Windows XP timezone. It was correct. So i changed Windows timezone to Karachi and, after accepted this change, changed back again to previous timezone (Brasilia) and rebooted. Just when i did it, timezone was displayed correctly through java.
Hope this helps someone finding a workaround.

since i put firefox as web brouser my credit usage has doubled, hav i done something wrong? im getting rid of firefox shortly if i cant rectify usage prob..is there something i havnt checked? i dont use more than 4 basic functions. dont know how 2 copy and paste

Firefox is a totally free application, it doesn't charge you anything. If you downloaded Firefox from someplace that required you to sign up for it or charged you, then I suggest canceling your credit card (which you should do anytime there is suspected unauthorized activity) and uninstall Firefox. Then reinstall it from [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com].

How do I get my iTunes back?  I am new to iPad and hit something wrong.

The default apps cannot be removed.
Check all homescreens and folders to ensure it has not been moved.
Check Settings > General > Restrictions to ensure that the iTunes store has not been restricted.
If neither of those resolves, select Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

  • How to make site root-relative links work in DW and Server both?

See details on buggy DW image link behavior, below. My question is:
    1) how to make site root-relative links work in DW and Server both? Or…
    2) how to reliably automate the change of several hundred legacy root-relative links of the form
    /images/image.jpg  to document-relative?
    That is, to
    ../images/image.jpg or
    ../../images/image.jpg or
../../../images/image.jpg etc…depending on where the directory is.
The old format (/images/image.jpg ) used to work fine in my previous DW 8 configuration but appear grey in DW after “upgrading” to DW cs5.5 mac. (they look fine on the server, but it’s hard to edit image-heavy pages locally when they are all grey).
I tried changing the files to how DW creates root relative links now:
/public_html/images/image.jpg, which is a very easy, attractive root flow since there’s a one-to-one mapping. These look great in DW but are broken on the server!
I looked at the “advanced” site setup, and it looked like it might be possible to nuke the /public_html/ part of my server info…but it also looked like there was the potential for doing damage changing these settings, which are automatically generated from our server connection settings, which seem to work.
The “links relative to document/ site root” toggle…does that change how DW interprets existing links, or just change the default when you are adding a link?  I have made 80% of the file links document relative…before wondering if root-relative isn’t better?
It sure seems less ambiguous for all those images if theres a way to make root relative work for DW design view, DW link check, and server.
Summary of buggy behavior: (see test with images here)
    "old style" site root link

    Hello again Jon!
    Thanks for jumping on this.
All clear and understood about where publc_html is etc.
No contemplation of nuking the actual public_html directory on the server, just the "/public_html" text string at the start of the DW-generated links.
"/public_html" is automatically added to the front of the link in DW if I create the link with any of the GUI tools, if I have "site root relative" selected. And ""/public_html" ends up in the code, and gets uploaded that way to the server, where it (obviously) doesn't work.
Doesn't sound like it is supposed to work this way. Also, what seems to be the usual root relative format (/images/image.jpg) shows as a broken link in the GUI and an external link in the DW link check. All this togther makes me thinkI have some obscure setting incorrect?
The setting that caught my eye is manage sites/ site setup/ advance settings/ local info/ web url,  which is automatically set to http://www.oasisdesign.net/public_html/
it gives an option to change it but it makes every effort to make this NOT look like something users should mess with:
Having gone through the more careful thought process during this post, I'm ready to do the experiment of changing the remote server web URL (why is it wrong by default?)...think I'll eat dinner first so there's 45 min to avert disaster if anyone knows this to be a bad idea!
    Art
PS--don't  have a local testing server...don't think this will solve the GUI broken link/ link shows as external problems.
Is there an easy, automated way to change links sitewide from document to root relative?

  • Get Info "Change All" button doesn't keep the proper "Open With" app

I have a small but annoying problem that appears in Leopard 10.5.2 (been there since original 10.5.0 install) that I have tried to troubleshoot but can't solve.
    The problem is:
-With some of my file types, the wrong "Open With" application is displayed when I view a Get Info for that file type. So to fix this, I open a Get Info window on one of those types of files, and choose the PROPER default application in the "Open With" slot. This works, and then the new proper application name now shows in that slot. So then I click the "Change All" button and apply to all files of that file type. I receive the warning that I will be changing ALL files of that type. I choose "continue" because that is what I desire.
However, once I do that, (click Change All, then Continue button), the old, wrong application name jumps back the Open With slot! So the new, correct application choice doesn't "stick".
Oddly enough, it sort of DOES work, because if I then re-click in the Open With slot, although the old, the wrong application is back listed again, if I look up above that name, then my actual desired application is listed in a list, and it has the word (Default) beside it.
So if I do actually now double click any file of that type, then the proper application DOES launch and open the file.
But why does the Get Info window still display the wrong, non-default application in Open With? And furthermore, this causes all file types of that kind, to display the WRONG icon in any Finder window. They of course display, the icon of what is in the Open With slot list.
I am having this problem only with two file types and apps. (Cubase and Pro Tools---DAW audio apps). All of my Cubase files display a Pro Tools icon, and show as Open With: "Pro Tools" when of course it should display Open With: Cubase. As stated in the Open With list, Cubase is indeed there among other programs and it has the word (Default) beside it. So it sort of works when launching files. But I still cannot get Cubase to "stick" and stay in Open With after Change All!
Can anyone offer any tips on what might cause this and what fix is needed?
    Thanks so much in advance!
    Wade

Well, I tried rebuilding the Launch services with the command listed but still no luck. After having no luck with that and deleting caches, etc....I also, went to my home (user) directory and in Preferences, I deleted the com.apple.launchservices.plist file. I restarted and checked and still the same result.
Also, I want to emphasize again that the file type I am discussing DOES actually launch with the correct application. (Cubase files in my example).
But it is just annoying that ALL of my Cubase files display the Pro Tools application icon, and in Get Info they are listed to open with Pro Tools. But they actually do launch Cubase if double clicked.
And one other VITAL note....if I open Get Info for one of these files, and change the Open With from Pro Tools to Cubase....then that choice DOES "stick" and retain. (if I "don't" also click Change All)
It's only when I click "Change All" that it DOESN'T stick and the list selection jumps back to Pro Tools. I hope that may offer some clarity.
Thanks for the tips but I am still back at square one.

  • Out of Memory (OOM) - Kernel Freezing

    Linux BLOZUP 3.17.6-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Dec 7 23:43:32 UTC 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux
    240GB SSD, encypted with dm-crypt
    4GB RAM
    No swap
    XFCE4 Desktop
Every once and a while it appears that my kernel freezes. Mouse movement grinds to a halt, but occasionally partially responds after 5-50-500s delay. Keypresses are just as slow. When I am able to switch processes/see conky, it's out of memory. I have no swap, and would like to keep it that way as it's an SSD only system. When it does freeze, my BIOS network and disk LEDs are solid for some reason.
I recently swapped the mechanical disk out for an SSD and encrypted it, and I don't recall it happening before that (but am not 100% sure). It's happened about 4 times total now, in the last 3 months. It also might be related to Chromium, as it has been open every time it happens. It's usually after I leave the computer alone for a few hours and come back, the CPU fan is at 100% and it's unresponsive. I've been able to kill off processes manually, but it takes forever to get to that point, so I usually do a hard reboot.
Normally my computer uses about 40% of it's RAM. This is with 4-6 tabs open in Chromium, Geany and/or Eclipse, and a couple terminals. Plus all the background services.
I'd like to setup my system so that if this happens again I'll have some logs of what's taking up so much CPU/memory. Any suggestions? Something like get conky or top to write-out to a file or the system log every 10 minutes or so, rotating as necessary?

finale wrote:If you run without swap the kernel will refuse to "overcommit" memory
Could you elaborate on this? Can you give some example scenarios?
(Afaik, Linux refuses requests that exceed the available memory. So, if you’ve got 4GB RAM + 0 byte swap, a malloc() of 5GB will fail. But if you’ve got 4GB RAM + 2GB swap, then that malloc() will succeed. You could call this “overcommit” since the program requested more memory than you’ve got RAM. Okay. A request of 10GB will still fail, though. On the other hand, nothing stops you from running two processes, each requesting 3GB of RAM without actually using them on a machine with 4GB RAM + 0 byte swap. That’s what I know as “memory overcommit”. Anyway, this might be nitpicking. I’m interested in this topic and I’d love to hear more.)
I'm not very knowledgeable about this subject, but some time ago I had the same problem and had to create a swap file. I suspect you know more about it than I do.
My "explanation" was actually wrong -- by default the kernel will overcommit. Like you said, if programs actually use enough of the memory it will start the OOM killer. (Sorry for the confusion. I'm not usually that careless, but my excuse is that I was interrupted while writing the post .)
However, based on my own experience and from looking around the internet, it seems common for the system to lock up at this point if there is no swap.

  • E and F Fact Tables

    Hi
I recently joined as a Junior BI Consultant after training.
I am going through the SAP material with regards to Data Modelling
Could you please spare some of your valuable to time and shed some light on
Info Cube consists of a Fact Table surronded Dimension tables (Extended Star Schema).
Fact Table is classified as two types
    /BI0/F -- Fact Table(Before Compression)
    /BI0/E -- Fact Table(After Compression)
Correct me if I was wrong
By default Data will be saved in F Fact Table,If we compress the requests in Info Cube the data is moved from F to E fact Table
Can you please explain me the advantage of accessing data from E fact Table over F Fact Table
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi ,
In F table data is stored request wise...which is not the case with E table
    Refer:-
    Re: F & E tables
If you access from E-table you would avoid the aggregation of data as data is already aggregated and hence this puts less load on OLAP engine ..please note that when I say u avoid aggregation this does not mean that by using E table aggregation goes out of picture...the thing is that basic aggregation ( as explained in the above thread ) is avoided...
    Hope it helps

  • HT on Neo Plat 2 what should I set it to?

I have a Neo Platinum 2 with a A64 3500+ in it, when I got into the bios HT is set to 4 as default, is that right or should it be set to a different number?  I do not want to overclock just run the chip at its correct speed.
Thanks for any help in advance

    nVIDIA® nForce3 Ultra Chipset - HyperTransport supporting speed up to 1GHz (2000MT/s)
    If I'm not wrong, the default should be 200(HTT) x 5(HT) =  1000Mhz and it's DDR so 1000 x 2 = 2000MT/s
If you are overclocking you should set the HT to 4x or 3x depends on what's your HTT. Just remember to keep close to 1000Mhz
Kindly correct me if I'm wrong

  • RMAN 10.2.0.4 - CROSSCHECK BUG with 2 Channels?

    Hello guys,
i have configured two backup channels in the "default configuration", one DISK channel and one channel for TSM TDPO.
The default is the TDPO channel, but i have also configured the DISK channel for emergency (TSM down) or for fast backups.
The configuration works - if i switch the default device from disk to tape or from tape to disk.. the backup scripts are working fine.
But i have found a strange behaviour - maybe this is a bug.. let me explain:
If i make a backup to disk (default device type to disk) and then switch back to SBT_TAPE and run a crosscheck backup, some backups are marked as expired ... but they are on still on disk.
If i set the default device typ to disk again and run a crosscheck backup, all backups (in the file system and in TSM) are marked as AVAILABLE - this is correct.
Here is the configuration and the wrong behaviour
    Default Configuration:
    RMAN configuration parameters are:

    Is this a bug?

  • New items not shown

    Portal 3.0.8 - Solaris.
I'm adding item to my content area and everything looks good until the item is submitted. It is then not shown on my CA page.
If I create a new CA page the items will appear. But then the same thing happens all over again when adding new items.
    Anyone have a clue ?

I was just over to my client and found some things out.
No, I did not clear my browser cache but set it to check the page on every visit. Items still invisible.
The items are invisible in both view and edit mode.
This client originally created a content area with the NLS params set for the wrong language (default which didn't handle swedish chars). They then created a new content area using the correct NLS params. All CA pages created for this new CA will render items invisible. Creating new CA pages will not change anything.
If setting the CA to use the CA page originally created for the first (default NLS) CA all items will be visible.
Are we homing in on the problem here ?
And yes, all this is done using the PORTAL30 user.

My default is red and I wwant it to be blue.
I create a new hyperlink, modify the font, size, and color as I want.

When I use Link Inspector - Enable as a hyperlink - email, it changes font and size, but not color.
The default red is always used.
This happens if I make the text a link first or if I make the changes first and then make it a link.
