Wrong holidays region

Hi people, and hopefully Apple-guys,
The calendar on my iPhone shows Canadian or Mexican Holidays, my iPad the HongKong holidays.
Both are set up in English, with Belgium as location.
- iPhone 5: Problem exists in both iOS 7.1.1 (Canadian) and 7.1.2 (Mexican)
- iPad Air: iOS 7.1.2 (HK Holidays)
Someone knows about this error ? And knows a fix or when a fix will come ?
(Changing the language of my iPhone to Dutch is not something I want to do)
Should I file a bug report somewhere else to let the Apple-guys know ?

BadPenn,
I know for older drives, the 'lock' was actually a change made to the drive firmware and so simply reinstalling OS X won't have any effect. The firmware can be reset, but there is a risk of damaging the drive in doing that so I will not post any links for doing it. Using VLC is safer.

Keyboard not displaying the correct characters on Windows 8.1

Hi All, I have two HP keyboards model 5188-6077 and on Windows 8.1 the upper case 2 which should be the @ key is keying the " symbol and vice versa the " key is giving the @ symbol. I have never used these keyboards on Win 8 before, and they are both doing the same thing so I'm guessing that it is a driver issue. They both type correctly on Windows 7.
I have tried, but can't find the correct driver for 8.1. Has anyone got a solution? Thanks, Jim

Hi,
It sound like the wrong input region for the keyboard - if the @ is above the 2 it should be set to US ( the " above the 2 is UK ). See the guide below.

G550 Wireless whitelist, which FRU to get for 802.11n upgrade

I have a preconfigured T4300 G550 that came with a 2 antenna 11g WLAN adapter. I want to upgrade to 11n and am aware of the whitelist. But in looking at posts here an elsewhere not all Lenovo device IDs will work in all systems so it's not enough to just get a Lenovo branded card.
Is there a dBase somewhere with contents of whitelists for various models? IOW, where can I find out which FRU I need for this G550 upgrade? Would a 42T0865 (Intel 4965) be suitable (knowing I'll run just 1 Rx)?

Apparently I must have a neighbor with a WiFi router set to a wrong country region (I'm in Brazil), and according to the (foolish, stupid, and all-around knobbish IMSNHO) 802.11d implementation that Apple has chosen to follow in Snow Leopard, it sets its internal card's country region to the region of the first router that broadcasts to it, rather than being smart (like they were in 10.5) and setting it to the country region of the actual router you are connecting to.
I'm using the script that was offered on that page to reboot my Airport interface until it connects using Wireless N. Until then, this is a big AppleFAIL in my book.

Failed update of HP Slate 6 6000en

I read most probably all therads about failed HP Slate 6 updates but nothing worked. I received update two weeks ago and after the restart it goes to system recovey. If i try to restore with factory image it gives me an error: assert failed: file_getprop("/vendor/carrier.prop","ro.product.name")="madona"E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip(Status 7)Installation aborted. This is for European region with the latest update from July 31. If I download the restore image for Latin America it changes "madona" to "butterfly". Given the fact that before that is vendor/carrier line, I think it is due to uncorrect region. The other 2 regions (India and South East Asia) says that the restore image is older that the one installed on my system. Hard reset is not working. I did it almost 100 times so far. My device is HP Slate 6 6000en (P/N: G2E64EA#ABB) Which is wrong - the region or I have to wait HP to release newer restore image sometime in the future, when they have time?

UCCX 9.0(2) - Holiday schedule for geographic regions

Hi Guys,
I am hoping someone will be able to nudge me in the right direction. I am struggling to find a good way to script out a particular holiday check. I have a UCCX server that resides here in the states that will be serving some customers in Asia and the UK. It is also handling customer calls here in the US as well. Each region has their own set of agents and CSQ's. The problem I am having is each region has unique Holidays that they recognize, as well as share a couple such as Christmas and New Year's. I am having a hard time figuring out how to build a holiday check since the server time and associated timezone resides here in the states and not in those other regions. The Time of Day step was a breeze since you can define a time zone now. It's calculating when it's a holiday in the other regions that I am stuck on. Any suggestions that you may have would be fantastic!

I don't normally upload scripts to the forums because they are not searchable and also, anyone on a lower version cannot use it, but it's late at night, and I'm feeling half lazy, so here's a fully working solution to compute your holidays with timezone support.
This is just the way I do it, with Date arrays, but you may like XML documents, or some other form.
This is intended to work as a subflow. Your main script would need a boolean variable and a Date array variable to support it, which you will use in the Input mapping and Output mapping of the Call Subflow step respectively.

Change wrong item positions in region

Hello dear Apex-experts,
within a report region I want to have three items for Search-Fields. This works, but these fields cannot be placed, where I want them to be displayed. While switching over into the wysiwyg-mode at "items" everything looks like I want it to be. but the "real" form doesn't display it correctly.
This is the WYSIWYG-positioning:
"Anzahl Zeilen:"[P5_ROWS] [P5_GO]
"Suche:"
[P5_TYP_SEARCH][P5_Kurzname][P5_Langname]
within the Report:
[P5_TYP_SEARCH][P5_Kurzname_SEARCH]
[P5_Langname_SEARCH]
"Anzahl Zeilen:"[P5_ROWS][P5_GO]
"Suche:"
that means the P5_..._SEARCH-Fields are to far above and there is a linefeed between them.
Does somebody know this problem? And what is to be done to solve it?
I tried a lot with "new line" and "new field". Nothing worked.

I did not forget this post but had worser trouble in between.
There is a trick that solved the problem:
We "framed" the items that have been displayed in wrong order by two items that are of the type :"Display as: Stop and Start Html Table (Display label only)".
e.g.:
Sequence# 100: Px_START_SEARCH : Display as: Stop and Start Html Table (...)
Sequence# 110, 120, 130, ... : the other text fields ordered with criterias New Line, new field as desired.
Sequence # 200 Px_STOP_SEARCH : Display as: Stop and Start Html Table (...).
With Sequence # <100 we have some other items that from now on do not disturb our ordering.
If I find the time, I will try to create an example at apex.oracle.com.
But not now.

How exactly are you doing this?
When I cut out a part of an audio region, then drag the remaining parts together, so they are touching, the track will skip the cut out section when playing the file. Also, if I select the remaining parts of the region and use the command "Edit > join regions". This will create a new audio file with the cut out part deleted.
You should see this prompt, when you are joining the regions:

Hi,
Please go to SCAL and then Public Holidays and then change and then inside the screen select the public holidays that have been wrongly assigned and then click on change now ur public holidays class and rest details comes up so change as per ur requirement.

It keeps saying I'm in the wrong region when I try to watch inlayer etc any idea?

Everytime I try and watch catch up on iplayer or itv catch up, it says I am in the wrong region to watch it.

You can be connected to wifi and still not have an internet connection.
Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
Do you not have access to a computer?

100% region width - wrong region (bad orig template)!

I have 100% region width template, which is used to show empty HTMLDB region. Picture is shown bellow:

Region Report reloading with wrong data

Hi all,
I'm having an odd problem with APEX that I'm hoping somebody could help with.
I have a region report containing 30 text fields, VALUE_1 to 30. The report contains several Validation rules and when submitted with no errors it works fine. However, when any of the Validations picks up an error, the page reloads as expected with the inline error text showing fine...but the text in the VALUE_7 field has been copied into the VALUE_17 input field (so both fields are displaying the same text). The data in all of the remaining cells displays fine. I've checked all of the obvious report and column attributes but can't see anything wrong and I'm happy that the copied data in the VALUE_17 field is not coming from the database.
Can anybody point me in the direction of things to try? Can a report become corrupted or are there known report issues with my version of APEX? (v4.0.2.00.07).
A large amount of Googling hasn't shown any similar problems.

Hi Hinden,
Is your report based on a table or a collection? Normally if it is based on a table the report would revert back to the original values of the table, when you first went to this page, if the validation fails. If it is based on a collection then you need to check the code where you fill up your collection, my guess is you insert the wrong values there.

Optional/fixed holidays for different regions

Hi SAP gurus,
We have two offices located in different regions (karnataka and pune).
There are some leaves which are applicable only for karnataka and some for pune.
For all the employees irrespective of the region, we allocated 10 optional/fixed holidays in a year.
Now i want the restriction to be made in sap in such a way that pune employees should be able to apply only those holidays that are identified for them. If they try to apply any other day as option/fixed holiday, the system should not allow them and give a message saying it is not a optional/fixed holiday.
The same should be done for bangalore employees.
Pls suggest how to achieve this scenario.
