Wrong language on new ipod touch

I ordered my new 32GB iPod Touch direct from Apple about 4 days ago. It arrived today. I have two problems. 1- it is currently displaying everything in the wrong language and I can't find anything in the online manual on how to change it. 2- when I type in the serial number on Apples support site, it says it's incorrect. I own many Apple product and have never had this much trouble. What a disappointment.
Any thoughts or suggestions

To change language go to Settings>General>International>Language. I would call AppleCare about eh number problem.

It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating. I have been asking and no one knows what to do.

I have a new ipod touch 32 gb. I want to sync 2,250 songs from itunes, but it won't sync - it says I don't have enough space. A 32 GB is suppose to hold up to 7000 songs! I have not put anything else in it. What am I doing wrong?

What is the format of your songs?

Brand new iPod touch 4gen and it is not recognized by iTunes or computer? Help....

I have an ipod 4gen and when I try to install it to download music from iTunes it is not recognized.....however when I first connected it it asked if I wanted Word to look at my pictures via camera....I wonder if it thinks my device is a camera???? Help pls!!!!!

Ok....now when I get iTunes to see the device it named it what I have named another iPod ?...and used the current serial number of the new iPod touch.....and it says it is synching the iPod touch.....however, it it really backing up onto the cloud and has been doing this for over 9 hours???? I think something might be wrong....or is it really making a backup copy? Really confused if I should just unplug everything and take this stupid thing back to the store....much happier with my nano 16gb :). So much easier to figure out. Alright, right after posting my question I figured it out. I plugged my iPod into one of the USB ports in the front of the MacPro and it worked like a charm. Now the problem is, what is wrong with the two ports in the back of my Apple Cinema HD screen? That I can't figure out clearly. The USB connection from it to the MacPro is connected.

I must say I am very disappointed that I cannot charge my ipod while playing music anymore.
I had no problem with all other ipod generations. Can this somehow be fixed?

I'm having a similar problem with my new touch 3rd gen, with a Sony clock/radio/docking model ICF-CL75iP.
No sound coming out of the speakers, and no picture or video showing on the radio's LCD screen.
Sony replied to me that it's intended to work with any ipod touch 1st and 2nd gen but not with 3rd generation. Whose fault it is? Wrong software from Sony or Apple?
I guess I'll try to downgrade the firmware from 3.1.2 to the previous one. If not then I'm stuck

Brand new ipod touch won't display home page

Hi Folks
Just bought 2 new Ipod Touch's for the kids for xmas. One turns on fine and went straight to the home page and allowed me to personalise it but the other one starts up and just displays a picture of the USB cable and an upward arrow pointing to an ITunes symbol. It won't allow me to go to the homepage. Have i done something wrong????? Help

It needs to be restored. The only way to do that is to connect it to iTunes and restore as new.

Brand new Ipod touch won't charge or turn on

I recently got a brand new Ipod touch. The first thing I did was plug it in to charge it. A red battery icon showed up on the screen. I left the ipod on the charger for hours and the icon was still red. It won't turn on either. I have tried connecting it to ITunes but the red battery icon just comes up whenever I plug it into the computer and it does not show up on itunes. I am new to the ipod touch so maybe I am doing something wrong, or is there a fault in the ipod??

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

New iPod Touch Facetime - Contact does have Facetime button

My wife and I recently got new iPod touches (iOS Version 4.3.5) and we wanted to use Facetime to chat with one another. I set up facetime on each iPod touch with our Apple IDs and emails, made sure Facetime was turned on in Settings on both touches, but the contact page for neither of us has a Facetime button to press. For this initial test we are using our home Wifi connection and the connection seems fine. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong - it is supposed to be so simple, but it is making me feel simple.

Never mind, I figured it out - you just press the email, there is not "Facetime" button.

New iPod touch blinking on and off repeatedly

I just bought a new ipod touch today, and once I plugged it in to my computer, it showed the apple logo, but then the screen went haywire by blinking on and off. When it's blinking on and off, the screen looks frozen.
I've hardly touched it, what do i do? Someone please help. (please spare me any sarcasm)

Actually, after I got the iPod Touch replaced, it had the same exact problem, which I suspect that I'm just very unlucky because my computer is relatively new. I've been trying to figure this out for weeks.
I did take my iPod back to the store where the associate talked down to me and kind of made me feel stupid (on their computers, nothing is wrong..but at my house, it's pretty much cursed) ..so yet again, I am trying to get the iPod replaced and figure out what is wrong.
I also tried calling, addressing two problems (one of which is irrelevant). They pretty much gave no answer for this question. They told me to restart it, but as I said, no button works after it shuts off.
