Wrong language selection

Hi, I have a hp laserjet MFP M476nw and I choosed wrong language, when I started to install the printer, and of all languages it was chineese and thats not so easy to understand . Can somebody help me, please? Maybe someway to restart...

Without having the printer in front of me, I can try to help based off of what I see in the user guide.
1. Touch the Setup button (the button with the wrench).
2. Use the Right arrow to scroll to System Setup (it should be pressed 4 times, though I'm not certain. Google Translate says that System Setup looks like 系统设置 Xìtǒng shèzhì in simplified Chinese, I don't know how accurate that is but it's worth a shot).
3. The first menu item should be Language, touch that.
4. Scroll until you recognize something that looks like this: 英語 Yīng yǔ (Google Translate says it should be English).
If that doesn't work, but you're able to get to the lanuauges menu, just try different languauges until you can find the right one.

Just toggle the hold to on then off, then press and hold the middle and menu button until the apple logo appears. Then select your language.

When I started to setting my apple TV I pressed a wrong language which I can't undrstand the alphabet. So I cant reset the settings.

I am guessing you put in Greek if it is the alphabet you can't read, from google translate but I think this is settings-general-language if you have something looking like this.
If it looks different post what it looks like and you may get help.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book, click the arrow to the left of it, click the 'Report a Problem' button :
and then the 'Report a Problem' link on its line :
and select 'inadvertently purchased' as the problem and fill in the details (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes, which it is currently doing for me) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption.

ITunes match matched songs to wrong language

iTunes match has matched some of my Indian songs to wrong language. Many of the big budget movies these days are releasing their movies in several languages at the same time and making them all available to purchase from iTunes store. When I ripped a CD I already had, iTunes matched some of them into a wrong language. Name of the song is still showing original, but the actual track is in wrong language.
Is there any way I can force iTunes to re-match?

Songs that are ineligible because they are too low of a bit rate can be converted to a higher bit rate by right-clicking and creating either an AAC or MP3 version. Mind you, the quality will NOT improve; in fact it could degrade a little, but the songs will indeed be re-encoded at a higher bit rate. Once iTunes recognizes that they are encoded at a high enough bit rate, they will no longer be ineligible. And they greatest part is, if they are matched by iTunes, then not only will you have them in the iCloud, but you will be able to delete the original song files (do not select the option to delete them from iCloud) and re-download the matched songs from iTunes in far greater quality.

Language Selection Menus

Does anyone know how you can switch between languages when creating DVDs? I am wanting to offer a language selection option on a DVD and want the DVD to enter a menu with the selected language. I know that you can do it by duplicating the menus and having one version in one language and the other in the second language, but wanted to know if you can do something similar by using the language function that the manual suggests (which automatically selects the language according to the default language of the player). Any thoughts?

Sure, I didn't mean it in a bad way (calling on Apple people)! Anyway, I sure hope you all are more experienced than me, otherwise we are all in trouble...
I had read through all the threads and articles Drew linked to, but I was still confused.
I was stuck on thinking that having the same menu in different language versions would be the way to go (chapter 10 in the manual, heading "Using Languages With Menus", kind of suggests this), instead of having multiple menu trees but each one in a separate language. I think it was referred to here

as layered menus, right? I mean the language drop down menu in the upper part of the menu viewer?
SPRM0 wasn't even that important to me, I knew I couldn't rely on people having set the language in their player. I was going to have the user choose his subtitle language on a first setup menu (there is only one audio stream, english, in my project) and then set that [subtitle language] parameter once and for all with a script, using the Set System Stream command. That seemed to be working in the Simulator. I was hoping I could get by with just one menu tree (main, select track, more) and somehow be able to "set" a menu language parameter as well, and sort of stay in that language layer. But apparently it doesn't work that way. Do you understand what I'm saying?
What is the idea behind having layered menus, if you can't really target them? Or can you? At least they never show up as separate language versions in my jump drop down menus.
I know, RTFM. I've read through most of the manual, at least everything on menus as well as scripting, and I've scanned a lot of posts here, but I can't seem to find any info on that. I probably just got it all wrong somehow. Sorry about that, but thanks a lot for helping out! I really appreciate it.

Wrong language in menu Acrobar Reader X

Wrong language used for show menus and etc.
Acrobat Reader 10.1.1. Downloaded by country language (russian). Installation used russian language. In administrator account all menus in russian language, but in users accounts menu in english. In user preference selected "russian". Try to delete registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0" and copy it from administrator profile - not help.
Any idea?

There may be an easier way, but if I were you, I would try the following.
Remove all traces of Reader (not only the program) from your system using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. This is no longer supported by Microsoft because it can produce problems with Win 7, but you can still download it from from places like

Then, download the Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
and perform a clean install.

Language packs seem to break spell-check language selection

I suspect this is a bug, but maybe I am doing something wrong, so I'll ask here before submitting a bug report.
I have Thunderbird 31.2.0 installed on OS X Mavericks. I am pretty sure it is the en-GB version, but I have several language packs installed, including the (presumably redundant) en-GB pack. I also have installed (and sometimes uninstalled) the add-ons "Quick Locale Switcher" and "Simple Locale Switcher" at various times to switch the user interface language. (The reason I have included the two is, I had the "Quick" switcher first, and suspected what I was seeing might be a bug in the add-on, so I switched to the other.)
Now, the symptom. When the user interface language is set as en-GB, the spell-checker language choice in the "Preferences" menu (I guess "Options" in Windows, and I don't know what in Linux) is respected - I can type an email in one language, stop, switch the spell-checker language half way through, and the real-time spell-checking is then by the new language exactly as I would have expected. But, when the user interface language is anything other than en-GB (I haven't tried en-US, but I have tried German and Russian), the spell-check language follows the user interface language, and changing the spell-check language option in the "Preferences" menu has no effect whatsoever on anything.
This problem persisted even after I removed the two language-switching add-ons. Then, I removed all the language packs (which forced my user interface back into en-GB), and magically the spell-check language selection started working again.
So I am thinking the problem is driven by the user interface being from a language pack. When the user interface language matches the original install language, the spell-check language selection works; when the user interface language is something else, the spell-check language selection is ignored, and the actual spell-check language follows the user interface language.
The "Simple Locale Switcher" does not seem to allow the user interface language and the spell-check language to be switched independently, but "Quick Locale Switcher" does. However, this feature doesn't seem to work, nor does switching the spell-check language through the Thunderbird Preferences rather than the add-on (unless the user interface language is the default en-GB).
Has any one else seen a problem like this? Is there a way to fix it? (Maybe futz with the language settings on the other side of the "Here Be Dragons" warning?)

Before chasing dragons, right click in the body of a mail in the compose window and set the spell check language there. I have no idea if it will work, but it might add to the over all body of knowledge for a bug report.

Flash Help in Spanish has wrong language (LNG)

I am using Adobe RoboHelp Version 7.00.45 on Windows XP.
When I go in File - Project Settings - Language and I select
spanish, I don't get a spanish LNG file, but another language. The
other tabs in the project settings dialog (Stops list, Always
Ignore) are in spanish. I suspect there is a problem with the file
mapping. if someone could provide a workaround that would be great.

I have reported this on the bug form.
You can actually find the right LNG file in the directory
where you installed RH, such as:
C:/Program Files/Adobe/RoboHelp 7/RoboHELP/language/es_ES
Paste this file into the source folder for your Spanish
project (but note that the wrong language still shows up in Project
Settings > Advanced > LNG File after you do so). I ran an
output, and the Spanish shows up as it should. However, DON'T open
Project Settings and click OK, because the wrong language will be
written to the LNG file and wipe out the Spanish.

Cisco SPA 50X Language Selection on 7.5.5

Hello all,
I have read many threads on language selection within the forum and there seems to be no consistency.
We have a couple of SPAs which are now running 7.5.5. The trouble is, we also cannot use any other language than English.
Our SPA525er seem to be OK: you choose a language and the UI changes. But for SPA502 and SPA504 this does not work: you choose a language, the phone accepts it, but nothing changes - the UI remain in English.

So, syslog says everything is OK, our web server confirms that, too. No error or reboot on the phone, just wrong language in the UI. We tried German and Russian to no avail. Botth 7.5.5 and 7.5.4 exibit the same behaivour. And it makes no difference if we put the language selection in config or choose it from the phone UI or Web-UI - the result is the same.
I would really appreciate any help - our customers are killing us.

Installing Indesign CS6 trial version in wrong language

I downloaded a trial version of InDesign CS6 on two separate computers (with two different operating systems) and selected Dutch as the language. When the software is installed, it is in the wrong language, namely Danish. How can I fix this? I obviously don't speak Danish.
Some assistance would be much appreciated, I need to make assignments for a course I am taking at the moment.

Are the systems set to Dutch? Trials use the default system language. Beyond that I can't say much. Could be a bug/ glitch.

Feedback assistant wrong language

I just installed the OS Yosemite on my computer and when it start the Feedback assistant display a wrong language i just want to know how i can change it cause i don't speak rusian... and i can't select all the words to know what does they mean. Ty.
And it would be cool if apple starts a community for Yosemite

Well i try that way too, but it didn't work. The only way i find to fix it was:
-System preferences
-Language and regions (Blue Flag icon)
and there will be all the Languages preloaded by the OS on the left side in my case i delete rusian and portuguese as javierfajnolla but it didn't work so:
-Place the english on top of spanish by dragging it.
-Once u do this it change the main Language on the computer and it restart
-Once the computer turns on the problem should be solved. i haven't try to change it again to Spanish cause both works good for me but u can try.
I hope you guys can solve ur problems too.

I install Adobe Photoshop CS4 for windows and the program never give me the oportunity to install in my language, Spanish.
Only I have to install in English.......How can I do to change the language fromo Englis to Spanish considering that the DVD didnt give me the oportunity to select langauge.

You either do not have the right install DVD or the wrong type of serial. Language selection is dictated by a combination of the two. Contrary to public belief, there are different installers for different regions of the world as there are different serial numbers and if you e.g. bought a US version on your last trip to NY, it will never offer anything else but US or International English.

IPad Pages: red underline corrector correcting wrong language

I type in French.
My IPAD keyboard is set to: French
When I type, every single word is wrong according to Pages, it suggests English names. On double click, define: I have the good definition with French dictionnary.
It's is just that the autocorrector red underline corrects the wrong language as if my text was set to English when it is set to French in keyboard..
How can I fix this?

Perhaps it is not really set to the French keyboard. If you have "globe" key, tap that and make sure to select Français.
