We've verified this issue with engineers and they're working to get the problem resolved.

why you you waste your time & our time since you rarely get answers to your questions here?You are right, even i felt that recently. Its my mistake that i did not care to mark most of my threads as answered. Does that state i need to go back and mark all my old threads as answered ?
My role is some what isolated, i have to do it on my own. So some times i think of posting questions here in hope of getting some clues but at the same time i don't feel bad if i don't get answers, since i have learned a lot from this forum.

Are you only confused about the last access time not change when you open a file?

Last active time values is NA in prime infrastructure

Currently, my test was finished the nelflow.
this is the point that the problem is occured
most of the equipments is working property but there is one equipment that not opearate property
if my configuration is property, i can see the some value in Last Active Time(ex:17-Mar-2014 10:49:36 PM UTC)
but now i can see the N/A values.
what do i do need something? and my configuration is wrong?

Folders last modified time stamp are not updated in Windows 7

After changing any .cpp file in Visual Studio, the last modified time stamp for the file's folder
IS NOT updated. What's happening ?
However when I change a Word (.docx) file, the last modified time stamp for the file's folder
IS updated ! How come ?

If you thought this issue gets worse and if you have already set NtfsDisblesLastAccessUpdate to 0, then please revoke it to 1.
From the above Blog we can see that in Windows 7, the "Last Modified" field on log files is not updated when a program attempts to open the file or the utility is stopped, this is a design change to NTFS , becase we cache the metadata for
folder contents and do not refresh it until a handle is closed on an open file or an explicit call is made to retrieve the properties of an individual file.
Per your current issue that even if you closed these Vistual Studio files, the timestamp still didn't update. Please try the following and check whether any of them work:
- open the file in a second program
- view the proprties of the file
- "dir <filename>" at a command prompt
In addition, if you edit these Vistual Studio files with Notepad(Before doing that, please close all the programs include Vistual Studio) and try to reproduce the issue, does the issue still occur?

ITunes "Last Played" Time Stamp issues

I have a late 2011 Mac Mini running OS X 10.8.2 & iTunes 11.0 (163).
Ever since I did the last update to iTunes, the "Last Played" time stamp has not worked.
In the past, whenever a track finished playing, iTunes would place the time & date in the "Last Played" column. This no longer works.
I just came back from the local Apple Store, & one of the workers there suggested setting the iTunes Preferences supply the time stamp.
When I got home, I went through the preferences, but could not find anything for the "Last Played" time stamp.
Please help.

Go into iTunes Preferences and turn off crossfade. Don't ask why it works; do ask apple to fix this bug!

Last active time of a session

Oracle 9i.
OEM can show (session pero session) the timestamp, each session issued its last activity.
How can I know that (last timestamp session activity) using simple SQL statement?

The dynamic performance view v$session has the time of the last command in whole seconds.
If the session is active this is the time the current SQL statement has been running. If the session is inactive this is the time since the last SQL statement was issued, not how long the session has been inactive since the SQL statement could have been long running.

Script for Inactive computer from last logon time stamp

Hi Freinds,
I have a list of servers which include some specific servers (around 900 servers). now i need to check those servers which are not logged on from last 30 or 60 days.
I find the scripts which run against AD and list the servers but here i need to check from the specific servers.
I know this is possible but not sure how it can be. Please Help

Hi Anjani,
you really might want to try learning Powershell for yourself, if you have to manage hundreds of servers. That said, there are some fairly simple and obvious tools, with which you can do this:
"Get-Content" gets contents from text files and stores it line by line into an array. Maybe a list of those servers?
"foreach" allows you to loop through each item in an array and do something with the item.
"Get-ADComputer" searches for computers in an AD. You can filter which computer-object you get (say - only get a computer that is named thus ...).
If you have any questions about these commands, asking the powershell might help you (Example: Get-Help Get-Content -Detailed).

How to know time in which session last activity is done

I want to know that in which users session last activity time is done. I am seeing inactive session but i want to be sure that the last activity is done on the same day when i am going to kill the session after checking users session by v$session.

Look at V$SESSION.LAST_CALL_ET.
Quoting the documentation :
LAST_CALL_ET NUMBER
If the session STATUS is currently ACTIVE, then the value represents the elapsed time in seconds since the session has become active.
If the session STATUS is currently INACTIVE, then the value represents the elapsed time in seconds since the session has become inactive.

Last logon time from list of computers?

Hello,
I'm looking for some type of script that will query a list (c:\script\computers.txt) of computers and return the last logon date and user.
I do not want to do this from active directory, but instead want to get the data directly from the machines. So to sum it up I need to input a list of host names (all on the network) and output a list of last logon time stamps.
Any help is appreciated!

Well AD will be your best option but you can try this in a bat file:
net user User| findstr /B /C:"Last logon"

I am trying to maintain simultaneous sessions with WebLogic and another
app server. I am writing a daemon that will read thru the active
session list and check to the last activity time. Based on this and a
similar list I get from the other app server, I will "ping" the oldest
session to keep it up to date. The result is that the sessions will not
time out prematurely.

Time stamp wrong in skype and thunderbird while menu bar has correct time

I noticed in my applications like Skype, MSN Messenger, Thunderbird email that the time stamp was wrong. But the Menu Bar clock and the system preferences Date and Time were correct. My exact error is that the app timestamp always showed the time as PM.
I googled for answers and several topics mentioned a locked / misplaced / corrupted localtime file.
However, The real reason is that I had a custom time format under Languages and Text system preference. For some reason the custom format showed morning as PM and evening as PM. I opened the preference, selected time, and changed it from Custom to USA.
There are several similar errors (always showing 20 before time, ie 20:43, always is 7 oclock, ie 7:32, or etc) that were mentioned in other tickets I read.
I followed this post to go into languages and Text to correct the custom time format; http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11503087 (see last post. IGNORE the part about plist!)

Mail displays the date & time according to your System Preferences > International > Formats settings. The specific format used (i.e. Short, Long, etc.) may depend on the column width. It looks like there is something wrong with your Dates > Customize or Times > Customize settings there...

Not sure what you mean. I don’t see an “International” option anywhere other than the name of the International preferences panel itself...

SMQS: when is time stamp in the "last change by" changed?

Dear Gurus,
Recently we are encountering issues in our OUTBOUND queue of ECC. In a certain time queues pile-up to almost 2K and are in status READY.
*Integration is ECC <-> APO
To understand if its a QRFC issue or a Overloaded WorkProcesses, we need to isolate each case.
First we assumed that the reason of having the READY status are:
1. due to the change in TYPE of the queue name (APO system) from R to U or vice versa
2. due to the change in STATUS of the queue name
What we would like to know is, what does the time stamp consider upon updating?
Are those assumptions above correct?
Also the User ID seems not being updated.
I asked the user indicated in the "last change by" if he did some change, but responded that he is not performing any change in the QRFC for the past few days. But it shows his name and current time stamp.

Dear Babu, really appreciate your response on this.
Unfortunately, when i look into SMQS the APO system queue was already set to R. Upon checking the "last change by" (double clicking on the TYPE) i see that the time stamp was at current date and time.
And the only thing that can help us catch who/what is the cuplrit (user/background process), is to understand what are the factors that the time stamp in "last change by" considers. Also the user indicated in it, was saying he hasn't performed any changes that day... What bothers us is that it might be a background process as the time stamp keeps changing every time... Usually, for what i noticed, the time stamp there only register the date and time when our system had the support pack updated. but recently, it is showing that its been changing every day.
Moreover, our basis folk just assumes that the time stamp considers both the update in TYPE and as well as the change in STATUS. He is saying that the change in activity (when ECC transfers data to APO) is the reason behind the change in time stamp. For us to prove it, we checked on /SAPAPO/CC and saw that the last update of CIF/Any changes in ECC is similar to the one in SMQS last change, so it is not a valid reason, though the time is quite near what SMQS says.
So what we need to understand is that, was it really the CIF/any updates in Orders going to APO does trigger the time stamp change in SMQS "last change by"?
