Wrong metadata shown for some local files

As shown in the first attachment, I have some mp3s for a japanese artist, and one of the tracks spotify wrongly associates it with a completely different track. the title of the track isn't even the same (it is "Please Please", all other details are the same as the surrounding tracks). This I could put up with no problem as it still plays the mp3, the annoying thing for me is that it scrobbles the wrong track to last.fm when i listen to it. The 2nd attachment shows another smaller issue, as they actually match to the correct tracks (even though the spotify linked ones are singles rather than the album) but also provides the same scrobbiling issue since the artist and album names are in english rather than japanese like I have in the id3 tags. An advanced option to prefer local file metadata over spotify metadata would be king here!

Some files when imported into the timeline were shown shorter, because the frame rate that was deduced from the file was way too high. The fix targets this scenario.In fact, there could be cases where the frame rate displayed could be as absurd as 500 fps from a mobile phone camera which is not capable of capturing at that high rate.
So if someone has reported such issues, they could benefit from this. The fix is for both Windows and MAC

Did You may be direct iPhoto to a different Photo Library
As iMovie tries to find the appropriate photo library - it can get lost if iPhoto direct it into a Library on a not connected external hard disk or to a strange location - And iMovie HANGS.
Do - When no other program is running that might interfere
• Start iPhoto - BUT NOW KEEP alt-key (option key) DOWN during the full Start-Up process
• Now iPhoto let's You select Photo Library
• Select the one in Your Account / Home folder / Pictures ! !
• Then iPhoto should start up OK
• Now Quit iPhoto
• START iMovie
Does it still hangs - then I would suspect - iMovie Pref. file
If it Run's OK - Then HURRAY !

Service for delete local files in Business Connector

I have used the "get" service for copy the files in the Business connector, does anybody know if there is any service for delete local files, i have seen the service for delete remote files with ftp, but i don´t know how to delete the copied files in my server.

For this issue the best choice is create your own Java Service. I attach you the Java code:
Put this code in a new Java Service
         boolean success = (new File("filename")).delete();
         if (!success) {
             // Deletion failed
   Before, you must to create an input parameter in the new service where you must to save the file path. Change Filename with the input parameter variable.
   It's not difficult.

URL for viewing local files

I'd been using Browserlab successfully today, viewing local files from Dreamweaver CS5. I logged out and then returned later in the day and am now having problems as the Browserlab window is failing to automatically load the local file's URL in the box at the top of Browserlab screen (the URL box just stays blank. Can I manually input the local address and if so can someone advise the general format. I assume something like http://localhost/.... Obviously I will need to input my own file names, but just need the root URL/general format for viewing local files.

Thank you for your interest in BrowserLab. Please check to see if you have the BrowserLab web site open in another browser or browser tab. You should only have one instance of BrowserLab open at a time. You might also try restarting your browser (all instances) and Dreamweaver and if that doesn't work, the OS.
BrowserLab currently only allows you to specify local or firewalled URLs from Dreamweaver. Directly inputting a URL into the BrowserLab testing interface will test the page from the perspective of a person elsewhere on the Internet. Open the site you want to test in Dreamweaver LiveView, select "Local" in the BrowserLab Panel in Dreamweaver and click the Preview button.

Why can't I manually fill in info for some WAV files?

I've been importing wave files into itunes and filling in the artist info manually, one cd/playlist at time, with the intent of later converting the entire library to apple lossless. I need to do it this way because importing one CD at a time, I select the whole thing, and then fill in the info for the entire selection at once. If I import a bunch of files first I get a huge disorganized mess because there is no "tag" info. The problem is that, for some reason, artist info entered manually for some WAV files "won't take" but if I change to apple lossless first it will. Can anyone suggest a reason for this inconsistant behavior in the iTunes program?

WAV files don't have ID3 tags, which hold a lot of the song info.

Okular freezes for some pdf files

My problem is that Okular freezes for some pdf files, the problem is NOT related to how big files are, or how many pics/raster in them. I have many pdfs that exceeds 90 MB and run smoothly. Moreover, I have also many large djvu files that run smoothly. Evince runs all files smoothly as well. I have the latest stable okular with the latest stable poppler versions as of today.
Okular freezes in a somewhat weird way, if I go down from page x to x+1 in contiuous mode, It freezes when I reach the gray bar that spearates the 2 pages, when I want to go back to page x from page x+1, which it is supposed to be cached and should load smoothly, Okular also freezes at the same place.
My problem happens with small books having almost all text, and also happens with scanned books. The weird thing is that some other scanned books and some other all-text pdfs, e.g. academic papers, runs smoothly.

Sounds like a bug. Try to report it to the bug tracker and be sure to add a file that shows the problem so that the devs can backtrace it.

Help for download local file

I have a big problem trying to download a local file to an internal table. I have lines with more than 8000 positions, and i've tried to use WS_UPLOAD, GUI_UPLOAD and SO_OBJECT_UPLOAD, but all of them show me this messages:
   - Unable to satisfy send request: 8001 bytes.
¿Do you know any function module (i think it could be OO) that allows me to load this file?

Cut, Copy, and Paste doesn't work for some Project files

We have some Project files where the Cut, Copy, and Paste function is not working. Suspecting corruption, I tried doing a "Save for Sharing", to no avail.
Is there a switch setting that we are missing?
We are using Project Server v2010 with SP2. Our Project Pro clients are on SP2.

It could be due to a enterprise global corruption. Does it happen on a specific enterprise view? Does it work well in the default Gantt view?
Try to open the enterprise global and make a copy of the table with the same fields and attributes, then replace the old table with the new one in all the relevant views.

Known Issue: "DNS server could not be reached" when creating or updating a RemoteApp collection using template images for some locales

When trying to create or update Azure RemoteApp collections that use a template image for some non-EN-US locales, it might fail with error "DNS server could not be reached". You might also see error code "DnsNotReachable".

Cause: There was a issue in Azure in which decimal punctuation was not treated properly if the locale of the template image used a comma (,) instead of a period (.).
Workaround: Before a fix was applied, the workaround was to use template images based on a locale that uses a period to delimit decimals, such as EN-US.
Resolution: As of March 19, 2015, a fix for this issue has been applied to Azure. You should once again be able to create collections from template images that use non-EN-US locales. If you continue to have this problem, please
try the workaround. If that works and the only difference in the template images is the locale, please email remoteappforum (at Microsoft). If the workaround does not work, the issue is likely caused by a DNS configuration issue such as:
No valid forwarders to public DNS servers configured on your internal DNS server(s).
A valid internal DNS server is not specified on your Azure RemoteApp VNet.
A VNet or internal network configuration issue is preventing the internal DNS servers from be reached by the VMs in the RemoteApp collection.

Source Reformat menu item disabled for some XML files, but not all

For some reason, the 'Reformat' option isn't available for some of my XML files (in Source menu it's disabled, in the right-click pop up menu it's not even there). For example in my META-INF folder it's enabled for .wsdl files but not .xml files. In the same project, it's enabled for all .xml files in the WEB-INF folder.
Any idea what's going on?

This is a simple .wmv file, that I have copied, burned, created a disk image, made a copy of and sent to the UK, Germany, Ireland and even New Jersey. It has been played on a MacBook Pro, a MacBook, a Dell whatever, a Sony stand alone DVD player, an LG DVD player. At least three nieces or nephews, and at least 2 canines have put it through ISO 9XXX rigors.
The problem is that Apple Quick Time 7 Pro with Flip4Mac Pro "can't handle it"
It opens fine, it plays fine --- but when I try to "output" it via the FILE menu - all of the options

Export ...
Export to Web ...
are greyed out.
I know nothing abour codecs and wrappers but I tihnk that this is the problem.
What should I know about the file?
Ffor example, years ago, all you needed to know about a Mac file was the "Creator" and the "Type" - both were 4 character codes. something like ADOB for Adobe and PMK2 for Pagemaker 2.0.
Any help identifying the file and what I can use to get it onto my iPhone will be appreciated.

Icon previews wont show for some mp3 files

For some reason I have about 30 albums (out of around 1000...which isn't too bad of a ratio) that wont show the album art for the icon preview. Instead it shows an image of an old iTunes logo, I can't remember which version of iTunes, but it's the version that has a green note on top of the disc. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

Do you have an album specified for the mp3 song. I've noticed that if I only have a couple of songs for an artist and none has the album specified, they don't always show up. If I add the album, they will sync the next time. Hope this helps.

Getting Revision status "GENWWW" for some pdf files

We are using Stellent as a content manager. some times we are getting one problem with pdf files, some pdf files are not getting indexed and they getting stuck in "GENWWW".

DNG converter don't work for some RW2-files

Hi,
i found out, that there ist now direct support from CS4 to my new Lumix LX5. :-(
In some forums i got the hint to use the free DNG converter. that works for most of the files, but some rw2's it can't convert. yesterday i made 10 pictures and the converter only identificate 7 of them. The only thing i noticeed ist, that this files are "only" 7MB. The others are 10MB. When i use irfanview to look the rw2's are no problems. the pictures are all very good. somebody an idea whats wrong with the 3?

I don't know anything at all about your file format, but it sounds as if there is an option to create compressed raw files. I know Canon has this option. It may be that somehow you used this compressed option, assuming that there is one, and it may be that the DNG converter does not support the compressed raw format. If not, maybe someone else will have a better answer.

No thumbnails for some .mov files Bridge CS5

I'm using Bridge CS5 to organise some video which has been digitised from a sony camera in File Maker Pro X. My operating system is Mac OS X. I have Quicktime player 10.1 and have just checked for updates.
Some of my .mov files show thumbnails which can be watched in Bridge. Other folders just show the thumbnails as black rectangles - these can be watched in a pop up window but not directly in the Bridge preview panel.
The files were all digitised in the same way and recorded on the same camera so should be the same format.
After looking at discussions on here I have tried updating QuickTime and clearing the cache but no dice.
Any suggestions?

That is odd that if it was recorded on same camera they are different. I do know that the thumbnail is a complex issue. A little foggy on this as it has been awhile, but if you get a black thumb it is the way the marker of the first frame is recorded. In some cases this shows a black frame. Hope this gives you some clue to do a web search for the real answer.
